The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I have only watched a couple of free dog training videos, but have learned a lot from them. I'm grateful to Dr. Alexa and others at the K9 Training Institute for making these available. I also appreciate the way she keeps in touch through email. The 10-session training program sounds very worthwhile.
Extremely well written articles, friendly and knowlegable written in a personal way. It is if the author is living with us. Her understanding of the behavioural traits of the breed is uncanny
It was great learning a new training technique. Not all breeds of dogs learn the same believe it or not! But I am interested in what else I can learn now.
My new little dog has some issues with other dogs and sometimes people when she is on the leash, and I was very happy with the video workshop I have watched twice now and we are working on our leash issues every day on our walk. I haven't yet decided on enrolling in the training videos, but it definitely a possibility in our future. Great presentation and loved the examples.
I really enjoyed the class.
My puppy,Elvis is learning so much things.
I would recommend this class to everyone.
Loved the free dog training video. In the days that followed, the tips you sent were all in the free video. I had planned to purchased the Master Class until I found out the price, I felt it was a bit excessive. I figured the cost would be about $100, since it's all on line. The free video was very informative. I'm getting Daisy tomorrow March 16,2023, she'll be a little over 7 weeks. Eventually, I'd be interested in hearing about the dog food.
I like the one where the dog barks every time the door bell rings! I was amazed at how Jasper came running to his big chair when called! This is very early for him and he needs a lot more reassurance and after listening to some of the videos, we are convinced, that Jasper will behave
I find your tips to training very helpful and even i already had few dogs i learnt that i have made many mistakes in the previous trainings.
Nice insight to manage dog behaviour other than the usual verbal commands.
Very helpful tips on how to approach dog training. Good ideas to try. Clear and concise instructions.
The information that came out of K9 Training was very helpful. And you should always give your dog a job to do…a perspective that I have never ever heard and we had 4 dogs over a period of 28 years growing up.
I'm enjoying training the right way. I've picked up some great suggestions and slowly I am integrating them into my puppy's daily life. I still need to spend more time on the training process as she is still quite young.
So far the tools and tips I was given in the workshop has made a significant difference. My dog does has training as far as sitting, paws, laying down etc but everything I did he would still pull on the leash. With the tools from the workshop the behavior was corrected almost instantly. I am still working on it with him daily as he is still a pup but again it corrects quickly so he will have it in no time. It's a free workshop, you'd be surprised what you could learn, and I highly suggest watching!
This is the best dog training I have ever seen before. With quick and visible results. I trained dogs before with different techniques and this positive and unharmed for them.
I have read the reviews and find the training to be very similar to what I have been doing, but with some extra methods that I think would take training to a higher level, and be very good for anyone with a young puppy/dog especially a larger breed dog.
This is my second dog I have brought to Alert K9 for training. The Lessons are made easy for everyone to understand and learn the correct way to train your dog. My first dog was a rottweiler. We rescued the dog at one years old. The dog had no social manners, no training. The dog was kept in the backyard for 1 year, After Ryans class the dog was great no pulling on the leash, dog would sit even after I walked about 400 years. I forgot about him. I gave the command OK and he ran to me and sat down by my side without being told. Ryan saved my rescued dog and helped me and my wife to train him correctly.
Thanks Rayn
The first three lessons they sent me free help me with my 12 month old puppy in the first day. And all the tips I've gotten since have been the same way. I will definitely be joining their courses.
I have not yet signed up because I'm having knee surgery on Monday. However, if I can't teach her to walk quietly on a leash, I may have to find her another home. I love Soffee so much and I think I wouldn't last too long without her. Thank you
