The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I watched K9's basic video and was quite impressed with their knowledge. I look forward to hopefully soon be able to take their Master Training Course so that I can train my Scottish Terrier to be my next Service Dog. I lost my last Service dog at age 14 so I'm preparing to start all over again. I will turn 88 in July and just hope that I have a few years left to enjoy taking a few trips again.
She stops barking at the light at the bottom of the door, especially at night. Before, she would sit at the door and wait for a light in the hallway to bark. We waited at the door for the light to come on and when she did not bark, we gave her a treat.,
Love the dog food. Service was great, speady shipping, great price, and my dog who is the fuzziest dog there is actually loves the taste.
I'm very interested in this type of training for my puppy! Thank you for offering this! I want my puppy to be a well behaved dog and thus program will do it. Bonus of having live Q and A.
This was a fantastic workshop, especially for free. I was able to implement some of the things I learned right away. It would only be better if you could pause it.
I'm very satisfied. Thanks to your caring about our family pets. Stella is more obedient and we communicate alot better. Thank you again
Starting with the free training first two month ago it convinced me to buy the masterclass training for my first dog. It included as an extra kennel and potty training for puppies. My new puppy is already trained with this method. I am very happy with the results for both dogs.
I watched the video and was truly impressed. I am trying out a few of the tips with my rescue "Moana".
We are practicing eye contact, body language and teach her how to stop pulling. She is a 2–3-year-old Labrador-Hound mix, nose always on the ground sniffing. It would be naive to think thank success will be there right away. These are great lessons, and I will probably buy the program. Hopefully the will be another discount coming soon because a one day time to make a buying decision is way to short for me.
Your online training video was well put together highlighting all the important necessary steps to see results
Was having issues with my pet watched the videos followed the instructions and saw what I was missing with my training and helped with reaching Dillon ( my dog) in following my commands
It course gave me insight into my dog's behavior. It has helped me cope and train to my dogs needs. Thank you!
Unruly puppy, your tips have been helpful. He's still a work in progress, training course too expensive. Your free information is so well-educated and owner friendly.
Great training tips but a bit too pushy on the after sales. I appreciated the psychology behind the training. I was happy to get the take away tips on not jumping or reacting at the door. I will definitely use the "they have to have a job" to modify behavior in the future.
Found some important tips and helps a lot while hanging with my dog. There is more to take as benefit about the behaviors of dogs emotions hints to us.
However, being on a fixed income with the economy the way it is now, I was disappointed that I can't afford it. Everything they sent me via email made sense and looked like a great training.
I am planning to enroll, but I've heard very good things about your program from others. I just got a new rescue pop and I'm hoping to get started after he settles in a bit.
I listened to the info, but i cannot afford to join the class, but im sure is would be worth every penny. I am on a fixed income and 200 or 500 extra dollars is not in my budget.
I'm just starting with k-9 training and I'm finding it easy to understand and very helpful. I'm looking forward to working with my puppy on her little potty mistakes or maybe it's my mistake for not catching her cue.
Everything makes total sense now I've been applying the training techniques from the k9 instute on my German shepherd like using body language more than me repeating and yelling at my dog and giving her tasks a job to do, and even socializing with other dogs
The videos I watched help me understand some behavioral logic in my dogs and made it easier to respond to them when they are naughty
