Easy and very informative instructions. Helps with training our new now 17 week old chocolate lab. Its all about repetition and praise. Love this program.

Had one message from you since I applied. It was the give a dog a job or they find their own. Best ever advice for our 10 month old. Didn't realise what was going on.

Your online courses answer questions that everyone seems to be asking. Even the information you receive often is a great reminder of things you knew bet needed a refresher. Thank you for helping so many people and especially their dogs!

I work with Junior Handlers. Since I have kids ageing out at 18 and joining at age 9 all the time, it's nice to have occasional reminders of what my younger kids ( and their parents) may have missed from the ongoing curriculum. Proper Nutrition and grooming is an integral part of getting a dog ready for the show ring but is easily overlooked in training sessions. Your hints help me to remember to add these crucial elements to our weekly training meetings.

I will be working with the advice received from your free training video in regards to his jumping on people at arrival to my home. Thanks for the great tips.

Sep 8, 2025

I appreciated that you actually gave what you said you would! A first for me! Your advice was both an easily applied set of achievable goals AND short (as promised)!

Jun 22, 2026

I learned some new ways of training my dog, Cookie. She's 12 years old but still has a lot of energy! It's going to take practice for both of us, but we are doing the exercises.

Jan 15, 2026

We had the opportunity to try a couple of the things we saw in the video with our border collie, Flame. Specifically, the tugging on the leash and the jumping up on people. It's been four days since we started implementing them, and we are already seeing improvement. I only wish that there was a lower payment option so we could attend the actual master classes. After Christmas, we are strapped for cash, and making three monthly payments of the $99 was outside our budget, so we lost out on the promotion you had going. We are praying for another opportunity with a discount after we have time to save.

Jan 26, 2026

So far we have had 1 in person training with Blake, and many emails and suggestions which have been very helpful. Just like every dog owner I probably feel that what my dog is doing is a little different, but she is a Husky mix, and howls like crazy when there are other dogs around. She gets so excited when walking, so the suggestions from the Master class are great and I will try and incorporate them. I highly recommend Blake and his raining program, and he was recommended to me from someone else that had an amazing turnaround with her dog.

We have 2 doodles 5 years old and the simple fixes for several problems were easy to use and successful within just a few days. They are calming dogs with occasional bad habits. I hope to continue working with them to make them easier to take out together..

Sep 27, 2025

We're still early days with our pup, a 16 week old Kelpie but great to get a head start. We've looked at quite a few training videos but I like how this one explains the "why" and demonstrates "how" in a few clips

Jan 3, 2026

I cannot believe the difference just one day has made with Lola, my 14 month old german shepherd. She was giving me bruises on my arms from what I called love bites. I used to tell her NO! And push her away. That didn't help at all! Using your technique of ignoring her and turning my back to her, she got it! She not only stopped the love bites, she doesn't try to chew on my grown daughters feet either! She is also much calmer. It is almost like she was trained before but I got her from a shelter.

Oct 8, 2025

So far so good, but Penny was on leash. We did this 5 times. My behavior is having to change. She gets on a doggie bed in bedroom next to front door and waits for my command to come to the door as I open it. No barking at all. She's not a jumper

Dec 8, 2025

We got our new puppy a week ago. He is 8 weeks old and full of life (and teeth). Your help has been wonderful. We are still working on the biting but he is getting better every day.

Sep 13, 2025

My 3 year old rescue dog would not come close to me (or any other man) due to the way he was treated over the past years. Due to use of some of the training techniques I am now able to take him for walks on a leach daily.

Dec 14, 2025

The first 20 minutes of the video is filled with practical and helpful advice for training a dog. It was clear and included great demonstration videos.

Aug 30, 2025

I usually find promotional videos pretty lame but I learned some good info from this one. Our geriatric dog will sadly leave us soon. When we get a new puppy (cannot live without a dog!) a while after I will be looking for training with these folks. Even our old guy has benefited from the bits I learned

Jun 21, 2026

I am happy with the training advice and techniques presented in this course. The information is practical and useful, and I have found it beneficial. My main frustration is that many of the lessons contain lengthy explanations and stories about the training history of other dogs, rather than focusing on the actual training content. While these examples can be helpful, they often make the lessons much longer than necessary. I believe the course would be improved if the historical case studies were recorded as separate videos within the same lesson. This would allow students to focus on the practical training content while still having access to the additional background information if they wish to view it. When a lesson contains more storytelling than practical instruction, it can be difficult to stay focused on the key training points, and there is a risk that important information may be lost among the extended explanations.

Molly is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees weighting over a hundred pounds with a mind of her own and. That being said let me bring you up to date on her training so far. We are working with the Masters class and have come through the first couple of weeks and (more). She is doing very well. Although with the 10 week class, this could take a little bit longer than some other dogs. But as of today we are very happy with the program and look forward to completion. The video programs are very helpful and make the course that much easier to follow. Let me finish with anyone having a Pyrenees or reading about them they will know they have their own mind and she is a challenge, but we are working through the program and happy to date. Great program and Eric is very good.

May 20, 2026

I took the free training. I've had two dogs previous. My Ripley though had been on a whole different playing field. It's the walks and barking when she sees other dogs that was the worse problem. I needed to change to become the safety and alpha for her. Just having the rules has helped me. It's about the repetition and the getting into her space to let her knew I was in charge. We are still working on things but knowing I have some rules to follow to change her behaviour up has been a great start. I'm looking forward for the weeks to come.

May 1, 2026

I thoroughly enjoyed the free masterclass. It had actionable tips and a lot of valuable information. My biggest concern was that they did not address what training looks like with multiple dogs in the same household, which was one of the reasons I did not purchase the program at this time.

May 10, 2026

I have owned dogs for many years and found the information in the workshop to be spot on. Would attend the complete course but as a retired person can't afford the price, even with a discount.

Jan 30, 2026

I wrote a Facebook post but I'll say it again here. The preliminary video was excellent -- clear, insightful and confidence-boosting for any new dog owner. The technique seemed intuitive and I felt I could trust the speaker on good authority.

Oct 23, 2025

This was a wonderful workshop full of amazing information on dog training. I am excited to start implementing what I learned into my dog's training and expect to see results soon!

Sep 27, 2025

As the owner of a whippet there are several behavioral issues that seem unique to sight hounds. It was lovely to read the advice and say "Have you met my dog?" It seemed like it was written just for, me.

May 29, 2026

Have been researching various dog training programs and found this program and knew it would be right for my new puppy. Their free program is most helpful and being retired and on a fixed income, I truly appreciated it. Thank you for what you do to help us dog parents!

Nov 15, 2025

Loved the video. Our new rescued puppy came to us and few weeks ago. Will start her training as per your video. We hope to have the qualities of a service dog even though she'll just be our well loved dog. Thank you.

Mar 12, 2026

It only took me a couple of days to teach my dogs to not jump when someone comes through the front door. I have tried to teach them on my own and could not believe how easy they changed behavior with simple changes on my part.

Feb 13, 2026

Really enjoyed the tips especially about giving a dog work to do when someone rings the door bell. I am working on it with my dog Prayer. He is a rescue and we have had him 3 days. It is going to take a little time

Feb 24, 2026

Well done, easy to follow, applicable and presented at a speed that allows note taking etc. I am using what I learned with Sofia now. I'll evaluate the results and decide whether to go on to the masterclass. Are you sure I can't give 10/10? Regards, - Mark and Sofia

I want to be guide dog trainer and this was the most info that I have gotten from one place. I love research but trying to find training expertise for dog is really challenging. This was an amazing find I really enjoyed it. I am sure thier program will be great for those training their own dog. I did not enroll only because my dog does not have the problems the program fixes. The video was great and really helpful.

Mar 14, 2026

The Free Video was very helpful to get me thinking differently about approaches to training my 4 year old sweet mutt, Karli. I am already using more body language, and she is picking up on the initial cues very well.

Feb 8, 2026

I truly enjoyed learning some new ways to teach my Niyah girl. The video is very interesting and informative. Thanks so much. Hopefully we can find away to pay for the whole program.

Dec 29, 2025

I'm aware we found our dog in a very unhealthy situation, so I have good reason to suspect he has trauma triggers. Someone did care about him at some point though, because he came pretty much trained. The only thing I struggle with is the whining. Some days it's minimal, others it's constant; the decibel level gives me a migraine almost immediately. Also, as he grows old (we suspect he's maybe 4ish?) he's starting to ignore things he never has before in the 2 years we've had him. I wish I could commit to the full training - trust me - it's just not possible right now. If you ever have scholarships available, please let me know! Kari

Sep 17, 2025

I love dogs and recently got my own. I used to watch training videos, but the basics weren't clear. This course made everything simple and gave me confidence as a new dog owner

Feb 24, 2026

I had an older rescue in 2023. Unfortunately, I did not have the time or the knowledge offered in your videos to work with this sweet black German Shepherd. She couldn't handle loud noises, attacked all other dogs (big & small) pinning them down to the ground in a neck hold with her mouth, obviously trained with food, became overly excited when certain people visited, and would run outside to our parked vehicles and jump up on them scratching the new paint job on both. Humane Society insisted on giving her pharmaceutical drugs to calm her down. We tried safer natural alternatives for her nerves due to heart palpitations caused by the drugs, but we were at a loss for all the other issues. Using your techniques would have enabled us to train her properly. I would not have made the difficult decision to return her to the Humane Society. :(

Every time I look at your training section I see exactly what I have been grappling with as we train our new puppy, Feta! She's a white female, our first, German Shepherd and she's so sweet! Our black, GS, Diesel, crossed the rainbow bridge suddenly in August. He was only 4 years old. Feta is 3 months old so y'all know what we're dealing with! I count on K9 Training to help us out every step of the way. Easy to follow instructions. Just need bucketfuls of patience! Thanks K9 Trainer!

Jan 16, 2026

Listened to the free seminar and implemented the three suggestions with our 14 weeks old foster puppy. We have seen immediate improvement in his progress. Definitely recommend K9 Training Institute and their calm, kind, positive training style.

Feb 2, 2026

Great free workshop! Inspired me to get the 10 week course. Brand new puppy. Not yet 8 weeks old. Weaned too soon I think & runt of the litter. I need the training so I can train Lucy. I'll stay on each course as long as it takes. We're working on "watch". Thank you K9ti :)

Sep 2, 2025

The free dog training workshop K9 Training Institute offers is excellent. It provides a great deal of current thinking on best practices for training your dog. I am already putting some of these into practice with my 3 year old rescue puppy.

Feb 28, 2026

The advice is priceless. Ziggie is now walking beside instead of pulling me along on the walk. Just now to instill the same with her sister Lillie. One at a time works best.

Apr 1, 2026

5/5 the class was amazing and very informational for me! It has helped me in some ways to train my dog especially when other people pass our door at our apartment. I gave him a job and he follows it slowly but surely and I will keeo using tbe practice for years to come!

Jun 25, 2026

I love how this program explains everything in a way is easy to understand and easy to train your dog with. Because you don't only get the material to train your dog but you also get an explanation of why it works. Thank you so much K9 training institution for being here to help me change my dogs unwanted behaviors.

Feb 25, 2026

Great videos of how to train our dogs in different areas. I will be applying this training to my dog as she grows. As I am in Australia, your converted $ price to the membership is too expensive for me, I'm sure it's worth it but I don't work so have to be careful. Keep up the good work. Tori

Sep 19, 2025

You guys are great, wish I could take advantage of your work shop. The tips help a little, but I don't mind the barking at the door so much, he's a German Shepard... but his demand barking is out of control. I tried to order one of those remote "stop barking tools" but the order wouldn't go thru. He doesn't have a "place" or "bed" and putting him in his crate just pisses him off

Jan 12, 2026

Just started training videos. They were easy to understand and implement the training immediately.the videos not only give you step by step instructions but also provides the rational behind the training for dog owners to understand dog behavior which reinforces the training aspect. Best birthday gift ever. My dog Parker and future adopted dog Daisy and myself appreciate this gift. A calm doggy home makes a happy home. 🙏

The free workshop was so incredible. This is my first time ever training a puppy or dog for that matter. It's always been my husband. The content had things I had never heard before as far as training. The content was easy to follow and understand. I took notes so I can refer to them later when needed. Thank you K9 Training Institute for not only giving this workshop for free but also showing me how to properly train without treats. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Sep 28, 2025

The free video on Facebook was nice I wish I could afford the actual program. Even with the discount and installation payments it's still too much for me.

Jun 20, 2026

I have not yet enrolled in the Masterclass or paid training, but after completing the free course, K9 Institute has completely changed my perspective on dog training. I've spent a lot of time researching different training methods, and this is the first program that has truly made sense to me. The lessons are easy to understand, practical, and focused on building a positive relationship with your dog rather than relying on punishment or intimidation. Even through the free training, I learned valuable techniques that I was able to start applying right away. The information is presented clearly, and it's obvious that a great deal of thought and expertise went into creating the program. The free course has given me enough confidence in their approach that I fully intend to continue with their training. If the quality of the paid program is anything like the free content, I believe it will be money well spent. For anyone considering K9 Institute, I would highly recommend starting with the free course. It convinced me that this is the training program I want to follow with my puppy

Mar 14, 2026

Absolutely great. I wish I could afford the master class as my lil shadow and the love of my life has mast cell tumours and was diagnosed with grade 3 mitotic count 37 so im wanting him to have peace as he is a reactive dog and I cant even walk him as he gets to stressed out. But I really need to walk him as his lymph nodes are swollen and need to drain. Also I am getting a puppy next week as Im so scared of the thought of losing Diesel and I always have to have a dog in my life but by no means am I replacing him but hoping it will make a lil easier as he will love the puppy too. Would luv to do yr master class for my dog and puppy. Your teaching definitely make a lot of sense. Sorry for the long review. 😆

Came just in time
June 17, 2021

We just got a new four year old dog at a rescue, the only kind we ever get. It has been a year and a half without a dog, not usual for me. I am also over seventy years old and noticed our new dog, Boots, was not easy to handle. It was obvious she had had a hard four years, she was very smart and very different than the other dogs I had in my life. Anyhow I did learn some stuff on the free video but what I learned most was how individual each dog is and when you figure out what is in the head or your new pack member it becomes a lot easier to know what to do. Body language is the best way. Always talking or giving orders or what ever is like a mother nagging her kid all the time. Just use your body and your minds vibration to reach your new pack mate, good.

I have found the tips to be very helpful in training an old dog new behaviours. My dog is 10 yrs. Old and I am finding the old saying "you can't teach old dogs new tricks" to not apply with the recommendations given by the K9 training institute. I would highly recommend them and their courses.

Great Dog Training Tips
June 16, 2021

I thought the free online training class was great. My husband and I are on dogs #4 & #5 but training is hard and the tips provided are great. We are considering buying the the Masterclass material since it's cheaper than taking 2 puppies to training.

Thanks much!

Dog training that works fast
June 16, 2021

The dog training tips work not only very well but also fast. The results are brilliant and my dog loves the training sessions. The tips are easy to follow and easy to work through. I had a professional trainer work with my dog and I for my previous dog. The results took much longer and also took greater effort on behalf of all of us. If you have a dog, use this method. You and your dog will both be so grateful.

Training made Simple.
June 14, 2021

Had dogs all my life. Don't know anything about training. Got a Golden Doodle puppy a year ago March. He's now 75lbs. And he's always excited about going for a walk. Tried every collar out there to stop him from dragging me down the street. With your simple method of turning him around and in the direction of home he automatically stopped. Of course we went through this a few times but it was the really first enjoyable walk. Thx!

BEST! BEST! BEST!
June 13, 2021

The K9 Institute is... yes, you guessed it - THE BEST!
I have a Schnoodle who is mostly Schnauzer - a real barker. I've started the training and am confident that I can get a calm dog. He loses it when anyone comes over or just rings the doorbell.
I know the calm is coming because of the professionalism of the trainers and the step-by-step course!
