After my dog chewed up a cover on one of their Ballistic Beds after about 3 months Warranty expired) I ordered a cover to replace the cover. They sent me a crate cover instead of the bed cover. I returned it to them after getting an OK and an understanding I would be reimbursed the full amount I received credit of 1/2 of what I paid. I am a professional Dog Breeder and Trainer with over 60 years experience and should have known there is no material a determined dog can not chew and destroy.

I only spent $200 due to the fact that it said chew proof warranty and indestructible... FALSE! I'm used to buying cheap dog beds because my dog likes to dig n then chew but he is 7 now w horrible hips and joints so I opted to buy him a good ortho bed that's built to last and when it comes to him money is no object... although really it is. After 6 months he destroyed the cover and once I read warranty I saw it was only for 90 days... I admit my fault for not reading fine print. So I get a new cover another $125 this lasted 3 months and not only did he destroy the cover but also the bed itself. See pic below. I gave 2 stars because while it was intact it was fabulous both dogs loved it ( see other pic below) but for the money it should be better quality! Very disappointed

Apparently indestructible means something different to K-9 Ballistics. My dog chewed 4 holes in the bed in one night. They said they will replace the cover (only once), but not the bed because I should have taken it away before the dog ate the bed. I didn't know that I would have to monitor my dog during the night so he didn't chew threw the indestructible bed I paid hundreds of dollars for. What a joke of a product and company.

I made 2 mistakes with the purchase of a K9 ballistics chew resistant tough ortho bed cover. I saved up for 3 months to buy my dog's bed cover. 1st mistake was believing the hype of this product since within 2 hours in a crate, my dog who is only a moderate chewer was able to eat straight through it. 2nd mistake was waiting too long before using. It was packed away while I was having work done in my apartment. Unfortunately for me, the 120-day warranty expired 3 weeks ago so the company won't replace it even though it was only used for a few hours. Don't waste your money on this tough ortho bed cover. It is listed as chew resistant, but that's totally false. Don't fall for the hype.

Expectations are everything. They sent me an email Dec. 4 promising FedEx deliver Dec. 7. They today, Dec. 7 when I track the package FedEx says maybe Saturday Dec. 8.

I had a family member home Dec. 7 to receive the package and now to no avail. K9 of course blames it on FedEx. My suggestion was that when they send out the automated emails they do NOT insert a firm date, but put in a range, because they are still responsible to be for giving a false date. They should have said "Expected Delivery Dec 7-10, depending on FedEx" or something like that.

I am in Wisconsin, and right now the packages are in Texas.

I don't put it on FedEx. I put if on K9Ballistics for promising and not delivering. FedEx never promised me anything. If K9 paid to deliver it by the 7th, then they should be pursuing some accommodation from FedEx. I have no recourse with FedEx.

I don't even have the bed yet, so we will see if, and how long it takes, our dog to destroy it, and how they honor the "warranty" if the bed fails. I will update/edit this review if I can after the dog has had a go at it.

The delay is one thing. Once I get it we will see if it stands up to their claims.

I bought this so-called chew resistant crate pad for our Boxer and in less than 1 hour he had chewed a massive hole in it. The most disturbing thing is I contacted the company to refund my money as they tout a 90-day warranty *bogus* they didn't live up to their warranty and only refunded a fraction of the cost. If you are on the fence about purchasing, don't. Not worth the money or hassle dealing with a company that doesn't have integrity on what they (falsely) advertise. So disappointing!

I ordered this bed for my 110lb dog who has arthritis. He loves his new bed as it provides comfort and much needed relief and support. I ordered the XL and also ordered one size smaller. The cover is plush and very soft. I highly recommend this bed for it's exceptional workmanship and foam quality.

They advertise chew proof beds, guaranteed. But they aren't and better read the fine print because their "guarantee" is either a single replacement cover or 50% refund. Not sure why anyone would want a replacement cover for a bed that the dog chews through. The $200 bed I bought lasted 5 days and their customer service department were complete jerks during the exchange, and I had to badger them to even get my 50% refund. So very disappointed.
