They are a sham

I placed an order for 2 rings for a Christmas gift on 12/8/2019. The money was charged to my account on 12/8/2019. I received an email that delivery would be 12/16/2019. When the package did not show up I called on 12/18/2019 inquiring about where the order was. I was told, after holding for 20 minutes, that they didn't know why the order had not shipped and it looked like it was stuck in their system. They told me they would call me back and offered to overnight the order. They never called me back and I called again the next day. Was told the same thing. They said that they would research it again and call me back. They did not. On 12/20/2019 I called back again. Was told that they would find out right away why my order still had not shipped. After being on the phone again for over 20 minutes, I was told that my order had been canceled while I was on the phone with them because they did not have anymore of the rings I had ordered. I never received an email stating that my order could not be filled. This was a special Christmas gift for my daughters and now I don't have anything and Christmas is 5 days away. I would never trust them. They had to have known that they ran out of the rings. Very disappointed and so very unprofessional. Buyer beware.

Hello JTV... I have a few observations. I am a customer and a happy one at that... if I have a problem Customer Care is always there. But.
1. I wish fellow JTV customers would stop with their sarcastic comments about the hosts. These folks are doing their job and working hard... they are SALES people.
2. Customers should realize that sending an item 'just because' will COST YOU..

I buy ALL my jewelery from Shoplc. AMAZING quality, very fair prices no shipping problems. And they have "budget pay" on just about everything(more often than not).
No credit check, no website credit card you have to jump through hoops to qualify for.
And their Tanzinite is AWESOME. I purchased a AAAA vivid oval Tanzinite ring(in platinum no less) (2.65ct) with half a carat of E-F VS diamonds in a halo around it for $ 998.00, AND I paid it in 5 monthly payments, paid first payment on order(theyshipped ring right out), then 4 payments every month.
I have some of the most beautiful jewe! Ery pieces, and always am complemented every where I go. Even jewellery have offered to buy my pieces from me.

Paula Deen - REALLY?

I stopped watching JTV the moment I saw that Paula Deen would be on. For goodness sake, how can anyone possibly think that putting that woman back on TV is ok! I have purchased several chrome diopside and aquamarine pieces from jtv and have been thrilled. I will not support bigotry, ignorance, and just plan stupidity. So very disappointed in JTV! Shame on you.

Jewelry bad quality

I purchase a Moisonite fire gold plated ring... all the gold from the back has gone. You can see the white metal. Poor quality would never buy anything from this j tv.

I have been buying jewelry from JTV for most of the years they have been in business. RARELY have I had to return an item. And the pieces have arrived on time and any errors in payments have been handled quickly. I don't understand the complaints people have. JTV prices jewelry reasonably. Gold and silver prices have gone up thru the years, not their fault. I have rarely had a fault with the loose gemstones I purchased either. JTV has policies that are very good and fair in my opinion. Coated jewelry will change color if you have extra acid in your skin. THEN you need to purchase at least 10K gold items. I have that issue, not JTV's fault. If you are that picky about your jewelry, maybe you need to spend super top dollar and buy only from a Tiffany's like business. I would still recommend buying silver and gold jewelry from JTV. JTV keep up the good work!

I followed Tim M.'s instructions and wrote, again, to customer service with a full explanation, copies of this review and Tim M.'s personal notes to me, along with pictures of the ring in question. I received a letter two days ago saying that a refund was in process. This morning, the credit appeared on my account. I want to clarify that I've bought many items from JTV and have been pleased with prices for what you get. This case was different because it was pure gold and gold should last. I hope this will be the beginning of JTV continuing to handle these things more appropriately.

I purchased many items over the last years and have not been overly satisfied but then decided on a very expensive item ($400) expecting some quality. Gold rubbed off. Returns took weeks and continued to have the same problem with the item. I bought a 10K gold ring knowing it is stronger and gold is for life. Within 2 months the ring began falling apart because of how thin it was and shards of gold began breaking off. Customer service promised a refund to "stand behind their product" and sent me a shipping label. They sent it back without explanation. I called and was told "sorry" the person who ok'd the return didn't have the authority! "Sorry" " Sorry" "Sorry. They kept my money. I have garbage to show for it.

Pure garbage

They show you a couple of good pieces then send you junk. Bracelet clasps are ALWAYS broken, gems fall out All the time, made like cheap seconds, they have NO quality control. They leave that up to you, then charge you when sending it back. Prices always change. Totally inconsistent. Cracked stones sharp edges of prongs, the list goes on and on. BEWARE.

Terrible Shipping

While the shipping is fast, they have many hidden fees for international shipping. I paid 94 dollars for my product which was a fair price. Then I got charged over 61 dollars in taxes and duty brokerage fees from the shipping company they used. I understand paying government duties but the 34 dollar brokerage fee was something I have never paid before. Totally blindsided.

I placed an order for some earrings for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday back in early August. There was a complication due to the shipping and billing addresses being different. I tried to change the address online and wasn't able to. I chatted with someone and he advised that he wasn't able to place the order for me. I placed the order again with the option of the earrings being shipped to me, and received an email that they would be delivered to me on or about 8/30/2019. I was going to be out of town, so I put a hold on my mail delivery as mail is stolen in my neighborhood. Waited a length of time, didn't receive them, so I called again. After going through a couple of reps, I was told by a very nice lady who promised me that she would have them shipped. Waited another week, called again on 9/10/2019 and Donna wasn't able to locate the order. After much frustration, emotional distress and huge disappointment as these were a special birthday gift for a very special person, I canceled the order. The service reps were all very nice, but "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it. I really wanted these earrings and just cannot understand why all the problems ensued and they couldn't find my order when I received an email with my Order Number and a date of approximate delivery.

I returned two items to JTV and was only credited for one item. I called customer service and they ask that I wait until next week and see if the credit shows up. I am really confused because both items were in the envelope that I mailed to them, now I am scared to order anything for fear that if I decide to return I will not get the credit. I am a new customer and this has really turned me off from ordering anything. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had this problem.

Absolute garbage

I left this review on the ring I bought that was supposedly a sparkly CZ. They sent me an email saying they wouldn't publish it. I was able to leave a somewhat watered down review. I'll never buy from them again.

"Received this ring today. The CZs on the shoulders and in the halo are sparkly. The morganite simulant main stone however, reflects just about zero light and is dull and lifeless. It's certainly not a CZ, I doubt it's lead crystal or even glass for that matter. Close inspection shows that the "Morganite" is not cut the same way as the ring in the listing photograph. This ring is only a slight step up from something you'd get from a bubble gum machine. Don't waste your money."

They can show and sell all the gemstone crosses they want and talk big about faith but if they're showing an item and they send something that's nowhere near the quality of what they've shown, they are flat out lying to the customer. How does that fit in with their good ole "Southern Christian" image??? Hilarious.

I really like JTV. Have been a customer for many, many years. I am very picky about my jewelry. I must say, I have never bought thousand dollar diamond rings from here. I think that is best for park ave style jeweler, but for the most part I wouldn't have the nice jewelry I do if it were not for JTV. I have no reason to say this except it is the truth for me and been my experience. I have gotten many beautiful gemstones, necklaces, bracelets that I just love wearing and are BEAUTIFUL at a fraction of the cost. I only had to return things that didn't fit me. I never had a problem with anything falling out etc. You have 30 days to return. I read reviews before I buy. I have purchased many beautiful gifts for people from here. Gemstone earrings, bracelets and they are still going strong. The prices are great and I am leary not to buy anything that looks like it might not be of high quality. I went to a local jeweler to buy a pair of gemstone earrings for my niece and the prices were insane and the quality nothing like JTV. Honestly. I have to tell you I went into a jewelry store to get a new watch battery and I was wearing one of my JTV rings. The jeweler complimented it and said I got a very good deal. He even admired my black spinel bracelet and larimar ring. My Uncle was a diamond setter so I know good jewelry. I am very happy and satisfied will my purchases from JTV. The show hosts are very caring but some can go a bit overboard, I just ignore it. For the most part, they are very sweet and genuine. If that is not your experience I am so sorry. But for me, I feel very happy and will continue to shop with JTV them for many more years to come. Thanks JTV.

Luv my purchases

I hav made many purchases from JTV and hav been very pleased with at least 95% of what I received. And ALWAYS get lots of compliments. Is some of it cheaply made. Sure. So yu hav 2b careful what yu order that's all. If I hav a complaint it would be the chains sent with pendants r razor thin. Would rather they just didn't send one than one that I cant wear.
Hav sent sum items back and NEVER had an issue with being refunded. Promptly

I love JTV.

I have probably ordered over 150 items from JTV. Occasionally I have returned an item. Sometimes because it didn't fit, sometimes because I didn't like it, once or twice because of a defect. I have never had a problem with a return; however, I am very careful to keep my paperwork together and I always return things in their original packaging. If there is a defect I include a note describing the problem. Customer service agents have always been friendly and polite. I have been treated with respect and in a manner that let me know my business was appreciated. Folks complaining about the quality of the jewellery need to remember It's products run the gambit from very expensive, high quality diamonds and gold to stimulants set in fairly inexpensive metals. As from any other business you will get what you pay for. I have excellent success wearing their jewellery. I enjoy watching their shows and listening to the hosts.

A ring I liked was advertised at a clearance price of $179.99. I was going to purchase it but waited just a few days. When I looked today they had raised the price to $$229.99. When I did a live chat with them they wouldn't stand by their earlier price. Look, either it's on sale or it isn't, don't bait and switch like that.

I've been shopping with JTV for many years. I used to be very happy with my purchases. I believe that they have gone to mostly selling close outs and there-in lies the problem with quality. When another company sells their product to JTV, it's for a reason, possibly costumers complained about stones falling out or metal tarnishing so they pulled it off the market and are trying to recoup some money by selling it to JTV below cost. Also, I found a link once online that said what JTV employees pay for their jewelry. It's like 10% above cost. The mark up at JTV is still incredibly high. They say it's not but it is. Also, I'm so over most of the hosts. How is Wendy a host? Nepitism is rampant at JTV if she left her cushy job as an attorney to become a host and people complain left and right about her voice. What about Sherree? That woman gives SNL more material than politicians. If Mandy says: with a great pair of earrings you can rule the world" one more time, I'm going to put on my earrings and run for president. She talks about money and appearance more than most. Shallow. I wear jewelry because I like it, not to appear as something I'm not. Mandy described Bella "Looche" earrings as having updated "enclosures". Seriously? More than one time she said this. Its hard to shop with people who dont even hear what they are saying. Do the earrings need to be caged? Come on Tim... please get hosts that appeal to the majority AND know what they are saying. And what exactly is Lauren doing with her tongue during closeups while modeling? She looks like a snake or lizzard. Very odd. Not sure many of your host or models would ever be hired at another network. Where do you find these people?

Prices going up. Quality going down, FAST. Most of their products are now, CHEAPLY, made in China. And, when (not if) you return something, they keep enough of your money to cover their cost for the item and, then resell it at the price which you originally paid. Poor quality stones and settings. Mismatched and damaged stones. Dull and lifeless stones, including CZ., They send you just enough nice looking, good product to keep you coming back for awhile.
