They are liars and rude to everyone they talk to real pos nothing about them are good they are over priced.
I don't know why the school continues to use this place they never answer their phone and if you are able to get someone to answer they act like it's a problem to speak to you they have an attitude the entire conversation and treat you as if you are stupid when asking a simple question I'm so glade I will never have to use this place again they are by far the worst business I have ever had to deal with in my life! I would give them a big zero on everything
I did the payment over 4 months for a $365 purchase and had to wait almost 3 weeks when I was told it would take 4-5 business days. When I got the order I washed them one time before wearing it and the labels on the pants have already started peeling off. Shouldve been more items like a beanie or a hat or something other than what I can get for 30 dollars at Walmarts. I don't recommend anyone buying from hostess and I never will ever again.
I paid a 100 and something dollars for a yearbook, a shirt and a bag and my son never got the yearbook personalized and everything! And they can't find the order! What a rip off, I'll never order with them again
They are the worst pictures ever. This year they not only didn't show up for our school picture day, they never released the ones they took after they rescheduled picture day. Now they've told our whole school we all need to do retakes. They are not friendly when myself and other parents have called to complain. Parents have emailed the school board and have asked them to get rid of Jostens.
Ordered a beautiful ring design that I really liked. Within a few months I noticed the emerald had come loose and was only being held in tact by the metal piece over it. I ended up losing the ring, so I contacted customer service and they did replace the ring. The second ring is having the same issue with the emerald being lose and I noticed the silver chips fairly easy. As well as the metal somehow bending. Didn't own either of the rings for more than 7 months before I started having issues with the quality of the jewelry. Other than that I'd say they were great. It's disappointing they don't last. Especially for the price.
Last year I had two seniors we ordered from jostens senior packages. We didn't get the stuff we ordered till the last min. And basically wasted money ordering the invitations since it was to late to send out. We also ordered two year books LAST year and have still yet to get them in. I have another senior this year and I'm truly thinking of using another company for her senior items!
It cost 20.00 for them to ship the item to your child's school in spring. So about 4 months and the items go to the school. So one trip to the school with your itmes along with 100 other kids items, and they charge 20.00 per kid. For that price you should have the items delivered to your house and not 4 months to get them
I wished I had read reviews before ordering. Will never order from them again. Ordered a senior ring wrong mascot on ring. Sent it back. They supposedly mailed to wrong address. And know says ring was was thrown away by the mail service went to the mail service they said they needed the tracking number but Justin would not give me a tracking number so I'm out $600 and I have no senior ring for my grandson.
$294 later no items, no refund. My son did not have a cap and gown for graduation. Have been promised a refund since May. Always told the check is in the mail, it's August 26th, still nothing.
As a parent I am frustrated. Every step of the way in the ordering process, Jostens will involuntarily add items to your order that require the user to remove. Sometimes the removals are not intuitive. For instance the "Reduced reprint cost insurance" is add and the "no" option is greyed out and difficult to see. Another example is the addition of items to your cart that you then have to individually remove such as book covers or extra photo pockets. This company is all about making the extra buck w
This company is a joke. They give you a $4000 a month draw to get you on board and you work like a dog to make money for them and they steal you commission for their own pocket. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. It will leave you in a bad place. Lawsuit in the works for bad workplace practices...
High school alumni here. During my sophomore and senior years, Jostens sent a representative to my school to talk about class rings and graduation gowns/announcements. The representatives never brought enough order forms, said the main office at the school would have more the following day, and never delivered their promises. The representative also said we could not order the caps and gowns ala cart, and had to buy a bundle that included shirts and hoodies for $75. He became impatient with students when they asked what to do if they did not want the bundle, and lost his temper.
And then there were the yearbooks.
First two years of high school were great in terms of receiving yearbooks on time and in an orderly fashion. Then in my junior year, I ordered a yearbook, and they had no proof that I ordered one, so the school prevented me from getting a yearbook that I spent $90 on. Senior year, the yearbooks came on our last day of school.
Oh, and their program Harbor TV is bad. Just saying.
Jostens is the worst. I am so glad this is my last graduation ever and the last time I will ever have to deal with them. I had to order my masters cap, gown, hood, etc from Jostens because that is who is contracted with my college.
That's all fine and good, whatever. Costed me 200+ dollars for everything I needed. Yuck. But one time purchase right? WRONG.
I get my order and my masters hood wasn't even finished being stitched together. It's like it got pulled off of the machine early. It isn't even usable for graduation. There is no way to complain on the website and I ordered online so I can't go through my school book store. They only have warranties for jewelry, not anything else. So, since it takes freaking 5 weeks to get anything from them and graduation is in 7 weeks, I have to order another masters hood from them and hope this one isn't half assembled. Another 70 DOLLARS.
I am livid and will be complaining to my college about Jostens being a terrible business because I can't find anything good about them anywhere.
Our yearbooks didn't come on time before school got out. My eighth grader, who is going into high school, didn't get her friends and teachers to sign her yearbook because of their lack of being able to do their job. 6th grade was quarantine and most of her friends were homeschooled in 7th. Surely 8th would be better… Their whole middle school life was messed with bc of Covid and Jostens can't do their job to get them their (expensive) yearbooks. They are on the list of those who have failed our children during this crazy time. Shame on them!
My cap and gown did not get to my school until it was too late for me to get it. They are now refusing a refund. I currently do not have the item because school is out and there is no way for me to get it. This is horrible customer service. I don't even need it anymore and I don't even have the item, yet I won't be able to get a refund. I get it that it was my fault for ordering the item late but I don't even have the item and is no longer in need of it. This is just horrible.
Site does not warn consumers that selecting J-Pay will delay manufacture and delivery or jewelry items. I doubt that I am the only customer that choose a different payment method if that were clear.
This is the worst company ever for a college ring, I will never ever use this company ever again in my entire life. I order a ring for warranty they took my money right away before even shipping the ring on April 18 22 and then said the ring would ship June 4 22 well guess what they said they have wait another two weeks for the stone to get shipped from Germany. Wow are you kidding me and I had to call them because of of there horrible customer service. They take your money and forget about you
It started with the HORRIBLE grad photo "sittings" in which my daughter was herded like cattle in and out of, with terrible results. Ended up using a different company, not contracted with her school. THEN came the grad announcements. A portion of there were for the wrong school. The initial shipment arrived pretty close to graduation. I explained the situation to customer service and said the remedy would need to be expedited and overnight shipped so we could get them in the mail in a decent amount of time before graduation. NOPE! Eleven days later and I STILL do not have them. I have been calling daily for the past 4 days and getting absolutely nowhere. They blame a different entity each time I call. At this rate, she will be graduating from college by the time I get these!
I don't reccomend this company. I waited 4 months to get my daughters graduation announcements for them to have the wrong graduation date and location. They delivered them to the school with less than a month before graduation. They assign a rep based off the school your child attends regardless of how terrible he is. I've complained in the past and attempted to request a different more professional rep and I have been ignored on numerous occasions. Our school rep is Ray Potlongo. He doesn't answer his phone even on his "assigned" days to take calls, doesnt allow messages. Also, when he did reply to my message a few months back it was at 2am (super unprofessional) he completely ignored my questions and concerned, He literally didn't even touch on the topic. He gave me a date and that was it, terrible terrible business. Order your announcements elsewhere.
