Fairly straight forward. Easy to register. Prices seem a bit high. Might be worth it however.
A bit confusing. However I'm still at the beginning of the journey. Let me finish and see how successful I'm at my searches.
Need more evidence that this service has value for me.
Only just started on here so can't comment fully. Given time I may be able to comment further (been on the site for 2 minutes...)
It really helps me to understand how should my CV look like and what should it contain.
This does the job of matching your resume to the job you're applying to. A huge time saver when job seeking.
Great experience to analyze your stand in the current market.
Not sure what to do next to optimize my linkedin profile
I wish to pay with PAYPAL or Apple Pay - so I could manage my subscription plan better.
In Paypal or Apple Pay i can see ALL my subscriptions (the next charging date).
With credit card i have to remember it myself. I have to visit you, learn how to cancel etc. This is very inconvenient.
I have just started using the website, I will provide additional feedback when I have tried to jobscan features
First scan provided some benefit, however, there are sections that are inaccurate in scan results. These include, experience level, education level, and broadly accepted keywords that are not identical matches but clearly are same meaning.
I'm excited to have assistance in finding a job and so far the benefits of this program seem like they will really help.
This is a very beneficial tool. I wish I'd known about it sooner.
Very accurate and specific. Jobscan is pointing out details to me that I never considered.
Some of your findings don't make sense, like missing key phrases in the job description because they aren't common phrases. Also, you say that my resume is in an unusual format when it's 8.5 x 11 inches. You also say that my 20 years of experience isn't enough for a job that calls for at most 14 years of experience.
Very intriguing product. Saves me time by comparing my resume to job listing and highlighting small changes to help my resume be seen.
I did not keep detailed records of the ratio of interviews to applications, but I am certain that using Jobscan increased the number of interviews that I got. It does not matter that I do not have a specific number because I cannot know which jobs I would have already gotten interviews for without Jobscan. Using the Jobscan approach pushed me to build a custom resume to submit to most of the jobs I applied to. I think the quality over quantity approach to job searching is superior in general. The job that I ended up accepting was with a smaller company that was receiving resume submissions through indeed or zip recruiter, and they were reviewing the resumes manually, so keyword optimization probably isn't what got me to the top of the stack. Regardless, I will sign up for Jobscan again without hesitation next time I am looking for a job. Not using Jobscan puts you at a disadvantage. Some people mention the cost... my opinion is that the cost is almost nothing when compared to being unemployed or unhappy in a job. When the amount of time that job searching consumes is considered, you want to be using tools to maximize your effectiveness.
Very good! I did notice that Jobscan sometimes misses skills mentioned if the wording is not exact, i. E. "project management" versus "projects managed."
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
