This is a very cool tool. Wish I had the available funds for a better membership.
It might be useful to consider that Jobseekers famously have no money. So a very expensive subscription is unlikely to be appealing, esp. When there are at least two decent competitors - SkillSyncer and ResumeWorded.
Free version isn't very helpful. But, I understand why. I'm going to have to wait until I can justify spending $50 for an account because my resume has already landed me one interview. If I accept the job I won't be looking for another one.
Jobscan changed forever how I will present my resume to perspective employers. I will use it again!
This is a useful app for anyone looking to land a job as it helps to tailor one's resume to fit the role being sought for. The feedback is awesome as it tells you what is right, what is wrong and how to fix the wrong things in your resume... and this is just the free version. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for that perfect resume to land a desired role.
I think u should have unlimited scans for the free trial and charge for improving the resume
This is the second time I have used Jobscan and the Premium upgrade which allows me to use the Power Edit function. After using Power Edit and raising my score above 80%, I literally received a call the next day from a recruiter. A couple of days later I received a call from a different company. Both of these jobs were listed on Indeed.com and had 100+ applicants. I received an offer from both companies. I can honestly say I would not be in this position without Jobscan and especially the Premium upgrade. I highly recommend them!
I'm new so just checking it out first and trying to find my way around.
Easy sign-up. Pay plans a bit expensive for unemployed
Not picking up words that have different voice or tense
Jobscan makes it easier for candidates to strengthen resume qualities when applying for new jobs
Excellent tool for job seekers to develop a resume that will get noticed. I would have liked a quick way to know what to do next - a button that lets you choose to redo your resume and rescan along side a button to try a new scan. I didn't notice the option to rescan after updates until after I had started from scratch.

Trial scan was very informative. Looking forward to actual feedback to use towards a productive job search! Still getting used to it.

Great, seems very user-friendly and comprehensive.
So far so good. Easier to update resume with specific suggestions. It would be easier to customize resume to the job description and not waste time figuring it out.
I match a job, its what I do. The system says that I'm a 27% match. There were many words that it has taken out of context that I don't match, so I will agree that 27% of the words match, but this means nothing if I, a human, a human that does this work, match the job. If this is the way of the world and how people get jobs, then I'm done. I quit. I will sit here until I'm ready to die because no one tries anymore.
I have experince in banking industry. I am handling corporate service desk which includes transaction processing, mutual funds, rtgs/neft, salary processing, Ipo/nfo application, opening of Dividend account & processing dividend to share holder, handling more than 100 mail on daily basis. Looking the opprtunities in Mutual fund Industry for my growth.
All I have done is signed up. Your screen appears and 3 seconds later you ask me to evaluate. What should a user say about the experience on your website 3 seconds into it? It makes no sense to ask me upfront.
Secure a responsible career opportunity to fully utilize my training and skills, while making a significant contribution to the success of the company.
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
