I purchased a wedding dress from this company, do not be misled by the glossy site and five star reviews. The dress was unwearable due to the armholes being far too small although I am a size 8, the material was different and the hips too large.
They did not respond to my emails within the 7 days returns policy and when they did reply they stated that as the waist size was correct they would not be refunding! I was unable to wear the dress and because of their non existent customer support I have been unable to get a refund and have not received an apology. I will have to take up a claim through Barclaycard. This is not a UK company but a company based in China, do not be misled by this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY: I ordered a dress online for my birthday party and a dress arrived on time but was the wrong style of dress, wrong material, wrong size, wrong colour... the dress that arrived bared no resemblance to that ordered. After numerous requests for a refund and return address for the dress, they didn't facilitate a refund and said they would charge me for postage of a return also and not refund the initial postage. I brought this matter to Trading Standards and received confirmation that they are not compliant with practice from the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the matter will be going to court onless they comply legally. DO NOT USE THEM.

I found a backless dress on their website that I wanted for my bridesmaids. As I wanted the same colour that was shown in the display picture I contacted them to check what the colour was called. They instantly replied back with pearl pink. I questioned the colour as it looked more champagne gold or else gold. After discussing the colours for my wedding they assured me the colour in the display picture would be perfect. I ordered 1 dress just to be on the safe side and I'm glad I did! The dress basically arrived and it was a blatent pink! No hints gold just plain pink! I got my bridesmaid to try it on as I thought of the dress fits I'll just return it and get the right colour. However the sizing was awful! Arm holes were tiny! Not even a size 10 or 8 women could fit their arms in! The arm holes were the size of a child! I contacted them regarding this issue and they took a week to reply between each email I sent, and when I was discussing the issues with them they ignored the fact I was requesting the returns procedure and kept saying they could make me a dress in a different colour or material. I order this dress at the end of September and after a stern email I finally got the returns procedure (end of October). They stated that I will not get a full refund I will get £40, and I will have to pay more for postage and packaging to send it back! So after spending over £100 on a dress and spending an extra £20 to send it back I would get £40 back as they have to take off material prices and labour time! However this is not stated on their website in the returns procedure. I'm now out of pocket with a dress I can't use because their website information is not true to what they sell. I do not rate this business at all and do not recommend anyone who is looking for a dress for a special occasion as the chances are it will be wrong and then your stuck with it and they only contact you when your looking at buying and ignore you when something is wrong!

I stumbled upon Joannesdress while shopping online for a specialty dress for an upcoming wedding. I loved all the different styles as well as the different buying options they presented. Once I settled on a style, I was able to chat live with a representative who answered all my questions. I chose to use the custom sizing and, keeping my age in mind, I requested the dress be made approx. 2 inches longer than was suggested. My dress arrived much sooner than I anticipated. Inside the box, the dress was wrapped in a zippered plastic pouch and folded inside out to protect the fabric. The dress fits me like a glove and the added length provided me a more elegant look. I highly recommend Joanne'sdress to anyone looking for a specialty dress or gown!

I have to say dresses were gorgeous, high quality with best price ever. I ordered my 5 bridesmaid dresses on this site and i was concerned before, because of reviews, but their customer service told me that some of their competitors can write as well, still a little bit of scare, but OH MY GOD, i can' t believe that dresses are gorgeous and they are fits like glove, my girls loved, so i am released. So sometimes, we should just believe ourselves, just made the right decision, will shopping again. Thanks for everything

I order two bridesmaid dressses back in july for a september wedding, totalling a 160.00 pounds which I paid. However a invoice was received for 108.00 pounds. When queried the correct invoice was sent.

The colour order was burgundy. The dresses arrived and were not burgundy one was red and one was a fuschia pink colour. The pink one was covered in grease marks and looked nothing like the dress ordered and the Red one was did not fit the custom made size requested, When I complained I received irrelevant responses. For example asking for me to ask others to clarify the colour! I know the difference between red and burgundy!

I have been subsequently batting since July to obtain a refund and only recently got them to agreed for me to send the dresses back. I had to ask for the address to send the the dresses back 5 times after lots of irrelevant responses.

The email giving the address details was sent (Sept 2016) asking me to declare the dresses as second hand (even though they were not worn as explained in several emails to the company) and suggesting that I state the value is only 19.99 on any custom declaration (which I will not be doing).

Please avoid if you do not want to be disappointed.

I purchased 3 dresses for my bridesmaids from this website, they are awful. Wrong sizes, wrong colour, poor quality of the fabric. I contacted them to return them, I've send them photos of the "dresses" so they could see where is the problem but they said that "the light is affecting the colour", when I've explained in what conditions photos was taken, they said that this is the computer's fault, that they have a different one... or something... I've sent the dresses back to the address from the invoice, demanding the refund or I'll take legal actions to get it and the compensation.
DON'T BUY FROM THE JOANNESDRESS! The dresses are not worth every a penny. I know that some of you will read positive feedback and think it's worth to risk - it isn't! Positive reviews are FAKE! The 'company' is a complete waste of space! Costumer service is rubbish! AGAIN DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Ordered this dress for my prom. Shapes and size looked amazing. I ordered a standard size which meant I had to take the dress to the tailors to be shortened, also as I have a large bust and small waist I needed some adjustments to the top, although this was my fault I should have paid for a custom made dress. The tailor was very impressed with the quality of the dress and said it was much better made than some high end high street shops. I was so impressed with the quality of the dresses and speed of delivery. Thanks.

I got an email saying thanks for the review, and thought I would investigate it a bit. This is what they say I wrote."I'm extremely happy with this dress. The service was brilliant - I knew exactly what was happening step by step and I was given a tracking number to follow. I received my dress within two weeks, which I was very pleased with. The quality of the dress is great, it has a built in bra and slip and the detail on the dress is to a high standard! I can't fault the dress or the service!" I haven't used the word brilliant to describe anything other than intelligence. I did order a dress, I did receive a dress, it wasn't the dress I ordered nor was it the right size, however it was a nice dress, and good quality, I just can't wear it. I tried to email and call the company, with no response. I noticed that my credit card was charged for 2 Starbucks refills and another charge for *******@gmail.com. I reversed the charges on my credit card. Stupidly, I tried again, maybe I pushed the wrong style, and maybe I entered my daughters measurements instead of mine (dress fit her perfectly). Used a different credit card, and again was charged for 2 Starbucks reloads and another charge from *******@gmail. Called fraud department and got my credit card replaced. I'm not sure what the deal is here, but I did get a beautiful dress that I can't wear, can't return or get anyone to help me. I wouldn't use this site, and check your credit card statement if you did..

I ordered what should be a made to measure dress, it arrived and was huge. Not at all made to measure. The dress was not the correct colour & they told me that my computer screen must be wrong! It had black marks all over it & was very poorly made with loose thread all over!

The customer service I was appalling, they refused to refund me & we're very unprofessional in their emails. They told me the reason the dress was so cheap (I wouldn't class £100 as cheap) is because it's made in a factory & I should wash out the marks & just 'understand'! Bloody understand!

Don't waste your money! I'm absolutely disgusted!
