The manager Susan was very rude and unprofessional with customers like me, which is bringing negative impression about your company. She is an older woman but SHE NEEDS TO KEEP IN Mind: IT'S NOT WHAT YOU SAY ITS HOW YOU SAY IT. Susan has a Rough tone need to learn these simple words like thank you! TO be a manager that person must exhibit those qualities in which she is lacking.
JCPenny.com sent wrong order. Said I had to return to store. Buy again, and wait 10-14 days for refund.
While they have a good selection, and their prices are reasonable, their shipping charges are excessive, shipping is slow, and customer service went to the lowers bidder from another country with atrocious, barely understandable English.
Do not order online. Still waiting after a long time. I ordered shorts and hope I get them before winter. But they sure took my money fast! After tracking it says on its way. Been saying that for 2 weeks. Stay away!
I ordered some clothes for a bachelorette party and instead got a suit which was something I didn't order. So I sent the suit back and they told me I would get a full refund. For now them to tell me that I need to file a police report on a package that i did get but it was the wrong item that THEY had sent.
The JCPenney in Peabody has a woman there by the name of Roxanne. She is the rudest manager I've ever met. She made me wait for a interview for 30 mins just to tell me she doesn't have time. I was late to the interview but her ignorance made me feel better that I didn't get hired there because there's no way in hell is work for her. Good luck to those who work there she is a total $#*!!
I was very unhappy with vanity set I bought from online. The merchandise part was made from cardboard which was torn in two places. The box it came in was not damaged or foam in box was not damaged. So this meant it was damaged at factory and package this way. For what I paid for I would think it would of been made such better. Then to top it off I have called approx three times and finally was told the truck company would called and I been waiting over a week and no call. So I again called today and all I was told trucking firm would call me sometime next week. Your company about to lose a long valued customer. First person I talked to was rude and not understanding. Then she or someone hung up on me.
You advertise the you ship 7-10 days. You say nothing about not processing the order for 10 days AFTER it's been ordered before it is even placed for mailing. That is 20 days! My item was ordered in plenty of time to get here but you say it wasn't verified and retired my payment to the bank without even contacting me! There was NOTHING WRONG with my order OR with the bank that processed the return you sent back to My account. My wife and I, 74 and 80, appreciated her hard work to arrive at the best discount price, despite my expecting an incorrect price, so I bought the sports coat at the price she worked out for us. We like old time service.
I was buying King comforter in Dec 2022 in my card and Jc penny continue sly sending Pay that amount and increasing with interest. I am try to explain I just use my JC Penny card some 5% discount never pay by this. I am a person never owe any money from any place and this is first time and I went store and Call but no body understand and show me my transition details.
I am not recommanded use big clearance sale in JCpenny looks like the store disorganize and doing rush period wrong transaction.
Asheville NC has the worst salon I have ever been to. All the stylist are second rate. The store is a shamble and the Sephora inside the store may as well not exist. The "Sephora" girls of JC Penny's in Asheville complian about waiting on customers. Not to mention they are suppose to assist with helping you learn makeup but they look like clowns with the way they have there faces made up. Each one was rude to me and I am greatly offended by the customer service. I contacted the store manager but he just kind of laughed about it. Without a doubt the worst store I have ever been in.
I have been wearing JC Penney underwear my entire life. Until lately, I have always loved itābriefs, t-shirts and Gold Toe socks. Other than dramatic increase in cost over the years, the quality has been generally consistent.
However, I recently bought 4 packs of white Gold Toe crew socks and for the first time was extremely disappointed. Since these are the socks I wear for everything day in and day out, I have to do this every few years. This time, even after several washings they feel rough and almost like cardboard going on, especially in the toe area. The material feels much thinner throughout than in the past. The shape of the sock is nearly that of a tube sock; there is very little heel.
I can't recommend these socks any longer, unfortunately. And know that JCP does not allow negative reviews to be posted to their site, either. I am reminded that this is the 2nd time I tried to post a negative review on a product and it was rejected.
Worst customer service over 16 minutes wait with out even asking me what i want cancelling my order when i still want it because of a mistake they made and when i asked if i can get my order again they said they will charge me again while not receiving my money first i have to wait 3 to 4 days and at the end they speak rudely and no help not even calming me don very frustrating ive been waiting for this close to a month to be told re order it and maybe i will get it ive shopped at Macy's online amazon and never went threw such a service never going to recommend JC penny and a service goes a long way this was the worst the person who actually placed my order the first time was very helpful and sorted everything out for me thats why getting such a service shocked me
I bought insurance through JCPenney in 2014, premiums were $90.37 per month which were all paid up until December 2020. However JCPenney did not forward some the money I paid them through my JCPenney Credit card which caused my policy to lapse and I lost approximately $7,500 in premium payments. I've tried to sort out the problem through JCPenney customer Services with no result. I also tried to get redress through JCPenney/Synchrony Bank but all efforts have been futile. JCPenney scammed me by misappropriating some of the funds I paid them for insurance premiums. They're dishonest and cannot be trusted. Stay away from JCPenney. My next resort will be to report them to the Federal Trade Commission
So I ordered a pair of jeans from the website, because the nearest JC Penney is more than 30 miles from me. When I received the jeans, the marked size was correct, but the jeans seemed at least 3 sizes too small. I called customer service to return the jeans, and learned it will now cost $8.00 to return them. For this reason, I will not be shopping at JC Penney in the future. If a place wants to keep your business, they don't sell products that are not any where near true to size, and they don't charge you to return an item you cannot use. Amazon never charges for returns.
They took my money two weeks ago. Cannot speak to a human being EVER, does Anyone actually even work there? No product, no shipping date, no tracking number. Poor business policies for this internet age, way behind times, and certainly not the reputable company my mother used to shop at. Shady as all hell
Customer neglect is the operating standard at JCPenney based on my Feb 2022 experience. The retailer refused to issue me a full refund for a dress that I ordered online and returned promptly to the store. It was in perfect condition, in original packaging, tags were attached, and I presented it with my jcpenney.com receipt. Instead, a $10.20 "adjustment" was deducted with no explanation. When I called an associate at jcpenney.com to report this she said it was a mistake and I would have to go back to the store to correct it. I had no intention of driving to JCPenney again, so I called the Avenues Mall store a dozen different times and never got an answer. Then I wrote a complaint letter to the store manager (listed on LinkedIn as Carla Finney) and sent it via UPS so there would be proof of delivery. I stated that if I did not receive the $10.20 credit by March 4th I would go public with my experience. The store manager never acknowledged my letter, which a UPS tracking document shows was received on Feb 24,2022. Not only did JCPenney fail to process a basic return-and-refund transaction correctly it couldn't be bothered to even communicate with a customer.
Kids' clothes are affordable good quality and last a long time. I often shop for the old navy as it's easy safe, and has good customer service overall.
I had a mentality challenged friend that was kept against his will for 22 month during that time of course he didn't have a haircut and his eyebrows, ears and beard were out of control I was so worried about how to get him a haircut let alone all facial hair the first two girls that came out definitely were not happy to see us then as if God we're looking down came Denise Abell Master Stylist she took care of Eddie with such compassion and was so gentle Eddie cried tears of joy when we left! Denise is an asset to your salon in Glens Falls NY and I will be making all my appointments with Denise from now on
Yes, I ordered 5 playtex bra's for myself once I received them I tried them on and the fit was very uncomfortable. I called ah requests o am return label, it was received in my email. I then package the five bra's up took them to the UPS store to send back to Penney's. On January 7,2022 in my email I was sent notification that one bra was received. I have been calling Penney's since the beginning of this month about the other four bra's and I'm constantly being told to wait four to six weeks. 2: problem is for me to return a pair of Christmas slippers that is too big I'm being charged $8.00 for the return label, the shoes were on clearance for $4.99. Please someone HELP!
Answer: I believe that there is a policy related to coupons. The clerk did look up your. Credit card. If you had been shopping at a grocery without your coupon it would have been the same. It is nice that at times they have made an exception for you which was good customer service on their part. Perhaps you had a new clerk that was still training or very busy. You should not blame the store for one instance with one employee. You also should not expect special treatment just because someone has bent the rules in the past.
Answer: No. A waste of your money. The original warranty will suffice.
