I love this site and the service they offer! You add money to your account and it creates a balance in yen for you to shop around yahoo Japan auctions with. Auctions work as they would normally, you bid, can increase max bid, ect. When you win, they deduct the balance and add a small auction fee.
You wait for the items to be sent to their warehouse in Japan. From there, they calculate shipping. You chose from different shipping options and they create the label, then adding the shipping cost to your account. Shipping can be a little costly but my purchases have always arrived safely and quickly with tracking.
You don't need to have an exact amount of yen in your account to process the shipping. Mine always shows up negative because I only ever keep just enough to win the auction. Just add whatever you owe to the balance asap. They allow a certain amount of days and will email you when they've charged or the item arrives.
This service is great, painless, but can take a couple weeks depending on how quickly the seller can get your purchase to them. I was a little skeptical at first but I've made a handful of purchases through them now and they've never disappointed. Will continue to buy from them for years to come! Great for those hard to find collectibles. :)
