I've only been working with IJL for 2 months so I'm a newbie in the matchmaking world. I have enjoyed getting started with Tabitha and then working with my matchmaker, Tanya. She has been positive and encouraging in a situation that can be a little nerve-wracking. I have enjoyed the 2 dates she has set up for me and look forward to what she has for me in the future.

The company only picks their top three of out of your all your priorities. Once I find a match, they send you a picture and want to set up a date if you're not attracted to the person if you don't go on the date, it counts against you. They don't seem to have a huge database of men in my age group. I've only had one date that a man was my age. All the other ones have been much older and I told them I wanted a five year spread either younger or five years older than myself it would be better if they send us a few candidates that we could look at their pictures and their profiles and pick one of those for our selected dates. Overall, I would not write this company very good and I would not recommend it to any of my friends.

The gentleman certainly checked a number of my preferences. The restaurant was nice but going into the city is a hassle. We decided that we lived too far far apart to continue to a second date.

My experience with IJL and especially Tanya, my matchmaker, has been quite positive. She got to know me, that which brought me to them and what I was looking for in a new relationship. I went on my first date which went quite well. Afterwards Tanya and I discussed the date. We will proceed with the dating process.

I started with IJL as a client in their normal online division. I worked with Destiny my matchmaker for a few months, but there were never any decent options presented to me. Eventually the Luxe division reached out to me and that has been a much better experience. The quality of my first match was much on par for what I'm looking for and the contact with my matchmaker Amy has been much more consistent and helpful.

So far the dating pool seems small and the matchmaking seems more like an availability check than a compatibility check, but I'm hoping to be proven wrong soon.
We appreciate this and take your feedback into consideration after each date to fine tune the matchmaking process. Our goal is quality not quantity which is why your membership is for a set number of dates and months. We look forward to your next date.
This has been a very unfortunate experience for over a year. IJL makes many promises up front to get you to sign up, and then asks for reviews after setting up one date. You are promised 12 dates in 6 months, and personally I have seen 6 dates in over 15 months around a major city area with 5 million people.
My emails to the company are usually not responded to and I would recommend to anyone to NOT use IJL and put your money towards dating apps, even as bad as those are.
