Total scam. After you give your email you have to pay $10 for your "free" test
I was tricked. They appear legitimate until you finish the test then "give us your email". Then if you do that, it's "give us your credit card". Never displayed or sent any score.
Your free score is available in your account dashboard and was also sent to the email address you entered on the registration page following the test.
To have your score sent again, hover over "Contact us" in the header and then select "Lost score."
Enter your email address and your score will be resent.
We offer a detailed analysis of your score for $14.95, but it is entirely optional.
There is no charge for the general IQ.
My score was not emailed to me. I've asked it to resend several times and it just keeps asking for a credit card (or alternative method of payment).

This site gives you your score for free and ask for payment if you need detailed explanation. So I believe this is fair. Its nice to take the test and to stimulate your brain. How representative is the score for your real intelligence is another issue!
100% scam. First of all test is made of only written questions, to make you spend more time, so at the end you don't want it let away. Want +10 points to your IQ? Avoid this scam site.
You probably took a test at a different website.
The test at IQTest.com does not require written answers. All the questions are True/False.
If you take the test at IQTest.com, your free score will be available in your account and will also be sent to the email address you enter on the registration page following the test. We do not inflate scores.
Scam. Doesn't give you your score -- makes you take the test, then tries to make you BUY your results. Avoid.

The worst site, I have ever known... It didn't have even a word about charges at first, after we complete the whole test and eagerly waiting for the score, asking us to pay... It is really CHEATING... hate this

People moan about this website without reading it properly. You have to pay to get an in-depth explanation of your score. You get your actual IQ test by email immediately. This doesn't speak much for the problem-solving or analytical abilities of some people, so their scores were probably crap. However the test scores seem to come in high, I scored about 144 a couple of years ago and 145 today. Other websites tend to score me 135-144.
THEY CON YOU INTO TAKING THE TEST WITHOUT WARNING YOU THAT IT COSTS $14.00.
BAIT AND HOOK... WASTE OF TIME.

Don't waste your time. If you search 'iq test' on google it comes up first saying "Free test with information on intelligence testing and history thereof. Additional detailed reports are available for a fee." But that is very misleading. The site doesn't tell you until AFTER you have taken the test that you must PAY to see the results of the test.

This site allows you to test your IQ. It's something you can do for fun. Their IQ test is pretty quick to do. People going to IQ sites should beware of spam or stupid runaround sites that never show your score unless you buy something or click through some spam edu offers. So far, this site seems ok on that front.
In order to see your score, you will have to enter your email address, and they will mail you your score. I didn't opt for the detailed report for $10.
This part of their FAQ cracked me up:
"The mean score is currently 108.447 (Confounding variable: The lowest IQ holders will not be capable of using the internet to measure their own intelligence.)"
Answer: If you look at the chart explaining scores in the FAQ at IQTest.com (How well did I do? What does my score mean?) you'll see how the scores are distributed and how your score compares with scores of others. IQ tests are designed so that the average score will be 100. The highest score you can achieve on our test is 156. A score of 99 would be almost exactly average. Our test was designed for native English speakers. If you do not speak English very well, your score will be lower than it would be if you took a test in your native language. If you are under the age of 16, you'll get a more valid score on a test designed for children your age. Age is not factored into the scoring of our test, but it is an important factor in tests for those under 16. Adult IQ scores usually remain constant over a lifetime. Common sense would tell us that if a child scores well on an adult test, then his IQ score would probably be even higher on a test designed for children his age. But we have done the research only on adults, so we can't say for sure that our test produces valid scores for those under 16.
Answer: The team of psychologists who created the test at IQTest.com were given the task of developing a valid, reliable, and fun test that could be taken online. This was a new thing in 1994 when the test first went online. Not just any test can be taken online. Most of the tests found online today do not give valid IQ scores. The most recent versions of the Stanford-Binet and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale have the same standard deviation as our test, i. E., 15, and will produce scores that can be compared to the scores received on our test. We offer the test as entertainment because we cannot control the test environment, but many people who know their scores from either the Stanford-Binet or the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale tell us that they scored within a few points of their previous scores when they took our test.

Answer: Hi Lynette, Call the number on the back of your credit card and tell them that you were charged without your permission. They can cancel the charge.
Answer: Maria-- I think you have taken a test at a different website, IQTESTNOW.ORG. You are lucky that this site did not accept your credit card. Your description of your experience in the review you wrote leads me to believe that you were almost a victim of their scam, which involves making additional charges of $39 or more to your card after the initial small charge of $1.95. Please review IQtestnow.org instead of IQTest.com.
Answer: Hi Marvie, The charge of $69 is not from IQTest.com. We do not ever employ collection agencies. I think you should check out IQTESTNOW.ORG, as they are well known for their fraudulent charges. If you would like to discuss this further, you can reach me at [email protected]. A charge from IQTest.com would show on your credit card or PayPal statement as a charge from Autumn Group/IQTest.com.
Answer: The BMI test is not affiliated in any way with IQTest.com. If you have questions about the test at BMI, you should direct your questions to the BMI website.
Answer: The free general IQ is emailed to the address you enter on the registration page following the test. We offer a Complete Personal Intelligence Profile for $14.95, but it is not required to get your score. If you send me an email at [email protected] and let me know that you didn't get your score, I'll send It out to you again.
Answer: There is no charge for the general IQ score. That is available in your account at IQTest.com, and was also emailed to the address you entered on the registration page following the test. We offer a detailed analysis of your score for $14.95, but it is not required to see the free general IQ score.
IQTest.com offers a free 38 question IQ test and a free general IQ score. The score and account login information are emailed immediately to the email address entered on the registration page following the test. Test takers can see their scores in the score email and can login to their accounts to view their scores online at any time.
Also, we offer an optional Complete Intelligence Profile, which is a detailed analysis of the general score in thirteen categories, for $14.95. The Complete Personal Intelligence Profile is offered, but the purchase is not required. Again, there is no charge for the test or the general IQ score.
