Misleading advertising. They hide their KYC (ID) requirements and minimum spend limits until after they have your money. I paid for a proxy, got no service, and was told I had to spend more money just to be verified. Total lack of transparency. I am filing a dispute with my bank.
I am extremely disappointed with IPRoyal. I purchased a Static Residential ISP proxy specifically for Los Angeles, California. However, upon checking the provided IP on industry-standard verification sites like Pixelscan, Whoer, and Octo Browser, it is clearly located in Phoenix, Arizona (Maricopa). Because of this location mismatch (IP is AZ, but I need LA settings), my browser fingerprint shows a "Spoofed Location" error, making this proxy dangerous and useless for my work. When I contacted support with clear screenshots proving the IP is in Arizona, they: Denied the truth, claiming their own outdated internal checker shows it as LA. Refused to replace the proxy or refund me, hiding behind a "24-hour replacement policy." It does not matter if 24 hours have passed if the product you sold was fake/incorrect from the start. You sold me a Phoenix IP labeled as Los Angeles. That is deception. I have attached screenshots of the chat where support refuses to help and the real IP location check. Do not buy from IPRoyal if you need accurate locations – they will take your money, give you the wrong city, and then refuse to fix it.
I paid for proxy service via Alipay on May 25,2026, order number: *********************060. The total amount paid was 110.81 RMB (16.20 USD). After payment, the service failed to work normally. I contacted customer support many times to ask for troubleshooting and a full refund, but they only gave perfunctory replies and firmly refused to process the refund. This company accepts Alipay payments but does not provide qualified service or basic after-sales support. I warn all potential customers to think twice before placing orders here, especially do not use Alipay to pay, since there is no effective dispute protection for cross-border transactions. I have kept all payment records, order screenshots and chat records as proof.
