I was very nervous about receiving important mail after I sold my home and took to the road to explore the country. If it were not for ipostal, I would have missed checks, and vital mail. Finding this service eased my mind, and fills a gap.

IPostal sent me a picture of a piece of mail that was ready for pick up. I called to be sure I could pick it up and they said yes. I drove 25 mins to get it then the next day I received another pic of the same piece of mail telling me to pick it up. I ignored it thinking it was a mistake. Then about 25 or so days later I get a message saying please come pick up this piece of mail in the next 2 or 3 days or you will be charged. So I called and asked to check if I had mail and they said no. I said well I received a picture telling me that I had an identical piece of mail that you said I should pick up. The person said well did you go into the app and request to pick up the mail before you came? I said no one said that I had to do that besides when I went to the store they handed me the mail. So I said if they gave it to me why can't they also confirm in the system that it's been claimed. She said They don't have the ability to do that in the store but that I had to call a certain number to correct the issue. This is ridiculous that they couldn't just input this info and it should be made extra clear that mail has to be requested to pick up before picking it up. And the person handing you the mail should ask you if you've done this step so you won't be charged. Very unorganized and poor communication with your paying customers.
People at Mailbox counter are really friendly and effective.

I made a request for my mail to be consolidated and sent to my home in Portugal. The interface and the process was fairly straightforward, however, when it came to having sufficient funds, I remember it saying I would need like $80 more in my account. I thought that was a little high, but I decided to proceed so I funded my account the money. After it shipped though it turns out that I was only charged a little over $22 for the shipment of the consolidated envelope, which was a pleasant surprise, but the amount that I was told to pre-fund the account was much larger than what was actually used, so it's this discrepancy and inaccuracy that I have an issue with.

We understand your frustration and apologize for the discrepancy in pricing. Most likely, the reason you were asked to fund your account with a higher amount is because it was going to Portugal, which could be more expensive.
There is an option to avoid this in the future: Request to consolidate first as a single task and then once that is completed, request the shipment. That way, the app can provide real-time shipping prices, no guesswork.

It's reliable and affordable and easy to use. It can save you time and money and help you to look professional and productive.
IPostal1 - the positive - the scanning and notification process works well for our non profit organization. The negative - there is a $1 charge every time I pick up mail and a $3 charge every time I pick up packages. So, I just pick up the mail once per month.
Have only received 2 pieces of mail so far, but process has been fine so far. A lot will depend on the office that ends up processing your mail. I know the office available for my local city I live in does a bad service in general and I would be afraid to trust them with my ipostal mail. A location I am using in another state has been fine so far.

We're happy to be able to say that we've had thousands and thousands of customers that have been able to successfully use our addresses for DMV, business, banking purposes and more. Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. We understand that there is a possibility that not all of our addresses may work for all purposes, and because of this we do provide you with a 30-day grace period. You're welcome to try us out - and if you end up closing the account within 30 days of signup because you couldn't use the address, you can reach out to us to request a full refund of your subscription payment. Answer: Hi Maxine, Thanks for your question. Our Virtual Office phone line allows you to receive calls and voice mail messages, so you don't have to use your private phone for business. However, some of our Office Building locations do provide live-answering services. This is something that you will need to pay them for directly, separate from your iPostal1 subscription. Answer: If you have a tracking information that shows the package was delivered to the store, then first step is to work with the store to confirm receipt and look for the package. If that does not work and store claims they never received or can't find the package, then you need to consult with the iPostal1 Customer Service team at [email protected] about next steps.
Answer: Given your specific needs, it pays to do a little homework before deciding which state or city will work best for you. Thousands of customers have used our service to register their business or for their DMV needs. However, in Oregon, Missouri, Washington State, and California, we suggest that you check with government agencies to determine what you can or cannot do with your virtual address. For banking, some banks or credit card companies may not accept transferring your address to your iPostal1 address, so best to check with them ahead of time.

You should not have to mark your mail as picked up.
We work closely with our centers to ensure that our standards of service and quality are maintained, and will, of course, follow up with your mail center. That being said, the best way to avoid any storage charges is to use the Schedule a Pickup feature on your app or online mail manager. This way your pickup is in the system and will be marked as delivered when you pick it up.
However, that does not mitigate the inconvenience you experienced. A member of our Customer Service team will get in touch with you to provide any support needed. We want you to have a great experience using iPostal1.
