I don't like that the app made it seem like the only options available to me was to use the notary public option via the web (at the cost lf,$25) when in reality you can simply go to the location and present your iD and signature to confirm identity totally for free

The USPS requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs in order for your mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Most Customers find this process to be fast and easy.
As stated on our FAQs page, some mail centers are able to approve your 1583 form in-store, removing the need for a notary; however, if they do not, you are asked to use an online notary service to get your form notarized, for which you are charged a fee of $25. The use of the online notary helps to protect both you and your mail center from fraud.
Most customers find our app easy to use, and we want you to have a great experience using it to manage your mail as well.

I think the $50.00 fee to have to get the forms notorized everytime we need to change our address is CRAZY!

We're happy to be able to say that we've had thousands and thousands of customers that have been able to successfully use our addresses for DMV, business, banking purposes and more. Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. We understand that there is a possibility that not all of our addresses may work for all purposes, and because of this we do provide you with a 30-day grace period. You're welcome to try us out - and if you end up closing the account within 30 days of signup because you couldn't use the address, you can reach out to us to request a full refund of your subscription payment. Answer: Hi Maxine, Thanks for your question. Our Virtual Office phone line allows you to receive calls and voice mail messages, so you don't have to use your private phone for business. However, some of our Office Building locations do provide live-answering services. This is something that you will need to pay them for directly, separate from your iPostal1 subscription. Answer: If you have a tracking information that shows the package was delivered to the store, then first step is to work with the store to confirm receipt and look for the package. If that does not work and store claims they never received or can't find the package, then you need to consult with the iPostal1 Customer Service team at [email protected] about next steps.
Answer: Given your specific needs, it pays to do a little homework before deciding which state or city will work best for you. Thousands of customers have used our service to register their business or for their DMV needs. However, in Oregon, Missouri, Washington State, and California, we suggest that you check with government agencies to determine what you can or cannot do with your virtual address. For banking, some banks or credit card companies may not accept transferring your address to your iPostal1 address, so best to check with them ahead of time.
