I left a 1-star review for this company (completely deserved) that has since been removed. If you scroll through the reviews, notice that an entire string of SCAM reviews are suddenly interrupted by many 5-star reviews. This is not a random pattern and leads to the obvious conclusion that they are feeding fake positive reviews to increase their overall score. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! IT TRULY IS A SCAM!

SCAMMERS

Scammers

Iphoneimei.net

They do not mention that you will have to pay a fee after you have paid the pre-order fee. Or at least they don't mention it clearly- its probably in the small print. Paying the 'pre-order' fee plus the unlock fee would make it 70 pounds to unlock an iPhone - DEFINITELY not a good price. And if you don't pay the second fee, they keep the ore-order fee of 20 pounds for literally doing nothing.

Can someone explain to me how they can keep the pre-order money and pretend on their website: Money back 100 % guarantee?

Here is the email letter iphoneimei.net sent me:

You have a pre-order, therefore as soon as the service is up and running you will be advised as indicated at the time of purchase:)

https://iphoneimei.net/terms-and-conditions

If an unlock is temporarily unavailable, it will be offered as a "pre-order" at a fixed price of £19.99. Your IMEI will be automatically submitted once the unlock becomes available. If the unlock cost is greater than £19.99, you will be prompted to make a final payment. Please note that pre-orders are non-refundable.

Kind regards,

David

Honestly everywhere i looked and read gave this website a damn good review and feedback. Lord only knows why!
I work for a Phone repair shop that also sells and buys phones.
DO NOT USE IPHONEIMEI.NET FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT MAYBE WIPING YOUR $#*!.
I paid 28.27 for an icloud activation unlock. Three days later received an email stating that my phone was black listed so they could finish unlocking the icloud activation, nor give me a refund. ( funny how i read 100% money back guarentee on their website)
Now i called T-mobile, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and Apple. All these people have informed me that the phone is fine, and the only thing wrong seems to be the icloud activation lock.
So in conclusion, I had to call my bank, file a lost or stolen card that was used for this purchase, file fraud paperwork on the website and its " team " or league of villains awaiting their next victim to scam; just to get my damn 28.27 back from these scam artists. Run while you can. ( Or you can switch to android which doesnt have anything near

Total Scam
August 21, 2017

The whole experience was terrible. They claimed to provide a service then where unable to. They then issued a voucher instead of refund. They promised premium service and when my credit card could not process I was redirected to a sister site which brought the total to double. They don't answer emails and the don't do iCloud unlocks. Stay away

iphoneimei.net is online scammer! I paid 28$ to unlock carrier. After 3 days, they replied to my email saying "Unlocked unsuccessful" and refunded to my account. But actually they are not refunding to my bank account and only to my online account registered on their website and they said this voucher can be used to ask for other services? We customer no choice and have to ask for others services they provided rather than losing 28$.
When i ask for another phone for unlocking to different carrier, they charged 28$ using voucher attached with my email. After only 1 days, they replied to my email. "Unlocking is on the way and i have to pay another more 80$ to complete unlocking ". Really stupid people why they ask another more money? If they can't do, refund money what they promise. Why asking more money after paid and even money never retuned to my bank account! F*** Scammer! Careful!
It is time we need to do something we need to take down or do something... I need IT people to delete/ disrupt. To do! How many people they have cheated including me!

SCAM Stay away!
August 18, 2017

Ordered a unlock, they stated that it was $28 initially. Then emailed me a couple of days later stating that I need to pay more

"please make the final unlocking payment, as stated prior to payment, of £49.99."

This wasn't clear AT ALL prior to the purchase. These are people that would prostitute their own mothers to make a dollar. STAY AWAY

Not many good reviews as you can see. They also try to contact people to take off bad reviews by offering refunds only to them.

"I am really frustrating and disappointing about this site iPhoneIMEI.net that basically made me hop through the loops to get my refund when they failed to unlock my iPhone 7 plus. So I paid £19.99 on their website and then they sent me this email asking for additional £30 to get it unlocked. I paid full total £49.99 after 3 days they said to me they cant removal icloud And then guess what, they issued a Voucher(!?) instead of full refund, they did not send me a voucher to my email
After view emails send to tham NOT reply from them at all."

IPhone IMEI works
July 26, 2017

The unlock service for my iphone worked like they said. They said it would take 10-20 business days and it took like 15 so it worked just like they said and im happy with the service i paid for. Note that some carriers take less time than others or possibly more time but probably no more than 20 days.

Scam scam scam
July 18, 2017

My daughter received the iPad 4 years ago when she was 8 and she couldn't remember the Id and password. I recently ordered the iCloud removal service from this scam company. After 3 days they sent me an email said that they couldn't do it as my iPad is lost/stolen. Guess what? I still keep the original box and also the receipt from Target. They just scam people and will not reply to your mail. Their sister site clencheck.me is also a big scam. I tried many different imei, all came invalid until you pay, then suddenly became lost/stolen. I will dispute the charge with my bank and also call apple to report them. Apple needs to do something as iphoneimei use their products to scam people.

Scam!
July 9, 2017

The whole thing is a scam.

Ordered iCloud Activation unlock without much thought (stupid me) and only realised afterwards when I had time to research further that it really was sketchy as thought it was initially. The type of order I had in particular noted 1-3 days for the unlock and on the 3rd day they sent an automated reply saying it was lost/stolen whereas in fact it was not and offering a voucher for the next purchase and 'premium unlock' services.

I was able to get a refund by contacting them asking for a full refund or I would open a transaction dispute with my bank. I received a straight up refund with no email reply so anyone in a similar situation should check their transaction history a few days later and expect no reply from them.
