I am a diamond status working for this company we already didn't get enough pay now they are decreasing our batch pay. They will put multiple orders together and still pay what they would pay for one order. The only way to see decent money if the customer tips. If not you are doomed. This is what they are paying now and this to them is a fire pay they are a joke I would rather deliver food than do this. What a joke Instacart. Been working on this platform for a year now and this is wrong. Everything is going except wages and pay on these apps. While you are getting richer the poor getting poorer. 35 items depending on the store will take someone up to 45 minutes and that does not include the time to get there or the time to drop off the order. So you will only make $6 for one hour and you waste more gas depending where the order is at at the mileage. The wear and tear on your vehicle and they only offer you a discount on oil changes.

I have used Instacart several times and the fees are ridiculous and you can't select the store location you would prefer unless you are ordering pick-up. Not every store is well stocked. How do you provide the store address for a pick-up but not for a shopper delivering? Customer service said they would "pass this feedback along" which means it won't change. Will either use doordash or shipt going forward.

Stay.away…. From this company…If you order something…they don,t have it…they will give you another item….and if you try to get your money ….back…forget it…they will give you very small…and I mean small…percentage…of the price…you lose…their making money…and screwing you….bottom line…this company…don,t care….their worst than….Walmart……Walmart takes care of their stock holders…they don,t care

Instacart fraud

Instacart is one big fraud, the proclaim, they are shopping from various, supermarkets and outlets, when all they have done, is created one big warehouse that they shop from, some of the products you order from them, they claim they don't have, but a supermarket would not run out of specific items period Plain and simple

DO NOT USE! I used instacart last year between November 2022-January 2023. I assumed when I used it I was charged a small fee for that day. I'm not sure what made me check but I looked to see if I had an account, it said member since November 2022. I decided to call, they said said I was a member. I asked them to cancel the account, they said they would cancel the renewal. My account was just renewed June 29, today is July 18 2023. I had no idea what it was just renewed and I have not used Instacart since January 2023. She said that the account was good for a whole year, I explained I did not want this membership and asked to be reimbursed since it was just renewed 19 days ago. They said there is only a 15 day grace period. The First Lady I spoke to was super nice, she then transferred me and the Second Lady was rude, she said I would get an email that it was canceled ( I never did) she then told me I could not talk to a manager and hung up on me. I waited an hour and called back, the lady that answered again was super nice and instantly transferred me to a mama her, he was nice and said nk problem my membership would be canceled and I would be reimbursed. When I was transferred the lady said my membership was canceled and I would receive and email (still no email) and that she could not reimburse me (even though the manager just told me that she would). She said the manager did not have authority and this was a different department. I asked to speak to a manager in her department she said no one was available only a supervisor. Then she went on to tell me that the supervisor would not be able to issue it either. I asked to speak to whoever was high enough up to help with the problem, she then started speaking over me and would not let me talk, said have a great day and hung up again! I am SUPER DISAPPOINTED in how instacart customer service works! I will NEVER use them again and will definitely tell others how rude they are!

The shoppers constantly forget to deliver items you are charged for or deliver to the wrong address then instacart acts like your ripping them off. I placed a $100 order but you really think I'm ripping you off on the $3 item I didn't get?

BAIT-AND-SWITCH

On July 5th, I signed up for Instacart+. I received a promo offer for 3 free deliveries for orders above $10. I included screenshots of this email promo showing all the details including the fine print. There is no expiration date on the promo, but it says the validity is 14 days within the first order. I completed my first order on July 10th. Since July 14th, I've been trying to contact customer support because they wouldn't honor the free delivery on my succeeding orders. They have given many different excuses and replies, they even tried to deny that the promo existed. They're clearly avoiding to fulfill what was promised. This is BAIT and SWITCH. False advertising is a violation of the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) Act. Dishonest company and customer service is the worst.

Placing an order for my mother the other day, they put a "temporary hold" on $230. Out of her bank account. (This could take up to 7 days to be returned to her bank account)
Then, they charged her the actual amount of $187. As well from her account. How stupid is that? She should have immediately been refunded the complete amount that had been on temporary hold. I am sorry that is just total BS for an elderly women with limited experience income, and other bills to pay. What the hell instacart! That is just total crap! You need to change this policy! It is idiotic!

A month and a half ago I ordered from kroger thru instacart and they delivered to the wrong address as I updated the correct address they proceeded to deactivate my account claiming fraud and refused to refund me. I went back and forth daily with no results and even emailed the ceo with no response. I absolutely hate this fake company and hope nothing but bad for any employees and management there and suggest anyone not to use they're services because they're thieves! I hate instacart

This is worst deliver service platform available currently. I paid 180$ for items I never received. The food you receive most times are full of fungus. I ordered body wash and they gave me body lotion. And when you request for refund they never help or support even after emailing and sending photos or incorrect items. They never help with any proper support. I didn't get items but paid 180$ they force you to pay tip beforehand even when the items are horrible. Horrible customer service horrible company. Please save your money and do not use this.

First, shoppers on that site are a joke, lazy, they don't care if they pick different items. They replace it when I didn't request it, when I order organic they bring no organic ALL THE TIME but Instacurt refuse to refund bc they are saying I've been requesting too many refunds! That's bc shoppers make MISTAKES! They blame one us and I just ordered $100+ up and the shopper delivered to the wrong address! Again refused to refund! See the photo, I live on the second floor and shoppers are delivered to the ground floor! PLUS, I ordered the all flowers but I see all plants! This site is FRAUD! I'm disputing. Careful everyone! I recommend shopping from Shipt.com

They are a TERRIBLE company. Charging 100$ more on my bill because of "different prices from retailer to customer". Will NEVER be using them again. They take advantage of people and customer service does nothing about it.

I have gone back and forth for a week, through phone and email and have not gotten my account un suspended. They say it was due to multiple accounts open but this is my first time signing up to use the shopper app, it went fine for a week and then out of the blue they suspended it. I spoke with NOM, Julian and Lukas and ALL were very rude and un helpful to at least tell me why it showed multiple accounts but no one seems to care and I really hope instantcart gets sued and again and a better business in similarity takes over and has better customer/shopper resolution!

They delivery randomly no matter the time frame that you picked. So rude management as well.They let the fresh food on the sun,in the floor.it stayed there for an hour and half,83 degrees day, when I complaint about it they told me to throw it away, because they would refund me for the inconvenience. But then they decide to chance their mind! Unbelievable...sorry you guy will be break down very soon, horrible service,horrible everything!

No recourse from Instacart, they said that the items were delivered so I am stuck with an 15% of items missing, 10% charge from Instacart and the tip of 10%. Delivery cost an extra 35% and I still need to go to the grocery store to pick up what was missing.

I have been an Instacart customer for a little while. Not sure what changed with customer service but when they begin to treat you like you are a thief when in actuality,it's the shoppers fault t's time to move on. I have had so many issues with the shoppers getting my orders wrong that they froze my account. I am no longer able to get refunds or credits. Today the latest issue the shopper didn't deliver my order to the correct address. Not sure where she delivered it to. She didn't take a picture of the location. I have security cameras on my property and she did not even show up on my property. Instacart refuses to help me. They state that I need to send an email to order appeals. However, I've done that many times and have never received a response. They do send an automated response over and over again never have I receive something from a real person. So not only am I constantly out of money because the shoppers get it wrong, but now they delivered my groceries to a total stranger who I'm sure is extremely excited, but I'm out the money, and I'm out the groceries and Instacart does not care they give you the runaround. They do everything to point the finger at me and not provide a refund or even a replacement They pretty much are calling me a thief and not putting the blame where it belongs which is with the shopper. Shame on Instacart for treating their customers this way we pay for their service and they're allowed to get away with it there is nothing I can do. Over it.

Terrible Service

First time order - they delayed my delivery time to midnight. I asked them to leave my delivery with the doorman, but instead, they called my phone. I missed the call by 3 minutes and they proceeded to cancel my entire order and charge me a cancellation fee. Will not be using again.

I talked 3 online assistant
1st said my account will be active within 2 days,and its hi-lighted
2nd asked me to send Driver license for background screening
After that will be active my account snd after i sent all,he went offline
And 3rd assistant said its not available spot and previous assistant lied to me.

If I could give them a 0 I would. Almost every time I order from them I have an issue. When I order the night before or early in the morning they start shopping at 8am before the deliveries. I either get out dated food or they don't have the items. Even on a order in the afternoon the shoppers appear's lazy and cannot find an item and replace it with something nothing like the original order. Or and I do check items fall off the original order.

I ordered food by Costco.com since last Saturday. My credit card was approved. But later instacart Cancelled it said May be fraud. I filed a form per their request and attached my driver license and credit card picture since last weekend. Now it's Thursday, still locked. Nobody contact me. I called Costco.com on line order Dept and each time was transferred to Insracart. Each time was told we're put it to highest priority to unlock the account or ask me reset up an account with Instacart directly then I can order food right away. But I just want to use Costco.com and I want to see how long they can unlock my account.
