I recently ordered from Zimmy Enterprise which Indiamart claimed to be a verified supplier. Placed an order for Chania choli 3 weeks back, They took money for priority shipping and the items were suppose to be delivered in 7-9 days. Its more than 19 days and I haven't received my shipment. After taking the money they are not responding to any phone calls or emails. There is no to track the company. And Mr. Ashish Bhandari the director of India Mart is of no help.

As a business operating in New Zealand, ordered 12 pieces from Rajesh to check out the quality, colour and material before I could order 1000 pieces. Thank God we did this to check. Arihant International is a fake cover up. Items are likely bought off the markets with no factory, no nothing.

Took Rajesh over 2 weeks to send despite saying he had stock at hand ready to dispatch once payment was sent. After full payment was sent via Western Union, he disappeared for a while. Daily messages on WhatsApp to get the tracking number for the shipment was pointless. Finally got the items but only 8 as despite the business deal he apparently had to pay extra shipping so "stole" my 4 good pieces to cover for the shipping. (God knows why he sent it via Hong Kong), my other suppliers don't do that ever. His answer was that I pay him more money to get the 4. What the $#*!! As it is, his items are of miserable quality, why would anyone want to waste more time and money in getting the street side garbage.

The 8 pieces sent were not at all what I ordered. They were cheap crap material dresses that would probably fit kids. Also the 4 missing pieces were the ones I was after anyway and these were held at ransom by Rajesh Jain. I suspect he never had those pieces and never will. Just a ploy to scam people out of money. I have written off my complete 12 pieces. So much so that I have binned them all - they are not good quality that can be displayed in a shop here in New Zealand. People like Rajesh are certainly bringing down India's name in this online marketing forefront!

I received whatsapp and email from a company call Amazing pharmacy after I sent an inquiry to Indiamart Then I kept receiving calls, email and whatsapp from this sales person call Hanson... keep telling me to make payment by western union/moneygram/tt. The TT receiver is Raoual Aimw Tchouanga, account number **************834, the name totally different from Amazing Pharmacy. I was not familiar with India payment, he told me that is the way they do business with many companies and no problem. I trust him. After TT the money, I received email from Goldexpressddelivery that I need to pay USD350 in order to get the product release to me, then only they will refund the USD350 to me. Immediately I sensed something wrong. I whatsapp that Hanson. He told me he is willing to pay the USD150 and told me to pay USD200 to get the product release to me. I know that he wanted to further scam me. I told him I won't do because I know that I got scam already. Please watch out if you meet the same incident from this company scam, his handphone is +1 *******476.

I recently ordered from a company named, Maan Medical Equipment. I was sceptical after reading some reviews of Indiamart. Today I recevied my order and it is exactly as it should be. I have to say that I really gave Mr. Dinesh K a very hard time after reading some reviews of Indiamart. I placed my order on a Friday not knowing that their post works much like ours. That meant that it would be Monday before anything moved and considering that Monday was also a holiday in India it took a while for the tracking number to show up in the system. I thought I had been had, but after a while it showed up and now the product is in my hand and it is perfect. This Maan Medical Equipment and Mr. Dinesh K are the real thing. I would not have any fear of ordering anything they have for sale. You will get your products from these guys. If I could give 6 stars I would. Now it did take 14 day to reach me, but I guess that is to be expected. Mr. K told me that up front. Yes Maan Medical Equipment and Dinesh K can be trusted. For payment I used paypal. Very satisfied.

It is a pity that because of a few stupid suppliers registered on the portal the entire databank of genuine suppliers go mistrusted by foreign buyers. I must say Indiamart is a decent web B2B portal only one important advice UNDERSTAND AND KNOW THE SUPPLIER IF HE IS GENUINE HE WILL NOT HESITATE TO CONCEAL ANY INFORMATION REGARDING PRODUCT, PRICE OR HIS OWN COMPANY

B2B portals are relatively new and not very common in Indian sub-continent compared to West. So Ideally it sounds so disgraceful that few bunch of chaps not only throw red flags on all other suppliers but mark INDIA as a low trust business zone amongst foreign buyers.

Buyers need to have clarity and specifications to their requirement and within few days of posting a sell lead on the portal they can quickly evaluate between genuine and non genuine suppliers.

Ideal time for replies to any buy lead is 3/4 days, as any one who is regularly using the portal won't miss out on a lead that is genuine and real.

This portal is just a platform choosing to genuinely do business is ones own selection, for deceiving can be even after meeting face to face. As suppliers we ourselves came across buyers who would not respond or revert even after steady follow-ups.

They do not verify the suppliers instead they share the contact details of the suppliers. If we connect with the suppliers through the mail provided by INDIAMART in our mailbox. The supplier will send mail as if they are a genuine supplier and contact us through WhatsApp as a professional seller. But ending up paying the amount in vain. They are scammers don't believe them. Even provide a fake tracking number with fake website.

Ventures trust have a scam going with someone in the USA
They supposing send your package to a shipper and then the shipper tells you that they want you to give them 1,200 for insurance? With your credit card or western union then they say once they deliver your package they will give you the cash back upon delivery. Of course we both know I will never see them again.
They stole 400 dollars from me. Ventures trust who goes buy juan tony but I believe his real name is Parveen Kumar. I called him more than a few times and he basically says what are you going to do, call the police. I said no its going to be some agency that deals in international crime, extortion, theft by deception. Theres a whole host of crimes they committed. The supposed shipping company that wanted the 1,200 for insurance said they had my package, it was in New York City. There name is Swith logistic solutions Only one day after I ordered it from India. Unbelievable Im going in on the lawsuit with the poor women who they really had no mercy. Do not ever even look at IndiaMART and let everyone you know about this bad bad site. Tony

It's a big scam. I request everyone who're looted by Indiamart fake sellers, let's be together and file a case at consumer's court, that is only way of justice and get our money back. They've to give the compensation as it's there duty to protect consumers from fake sellers.
Now I'll narrate my case:
I entered my requirements for the purchase of a macaw baby bird. A seller contacted me and our deal was finalised at INR *******. He promised me to deliver at my doorstep. After paying the money, he said he said he has registered the bird and will reach to me by tomorrow. Then i received a mail from cargo pet transports, that your bird is not insured so please pay a refundable sum of *******/. It will be returned via cheque along with bird. As they attached the photo of bird, i fell for it and paid the money. Then i received another with in half an hour an told that your bird doesn't have a copy of breeders license which is a necessary document, so attach a copy or pay a refundable sum of INR *******/. I don't know where my mind was, i was so worried for the bird, so i paid them this amount too.
Next day morning, i was shocked after reading their another email stating that your bird is arrived at Jaipur international Airport but as our refundable cheque policy we do not issue cheques lesser then INR *******0, so please pay the remaining INR *******. Then only i realised i was being looted, i lost INR *******. I'm sure India mart is never going to refund6my money. So the best way to get the justice is consumers court.
