I have been user of Indiamart website over past couple of years. There are several success stories to tell, I am sure.

Having run into an issue with a Vendor with Trust seal from IndiaMart, after lot of delays and poor product quality, communication, responses and even abusive words, cursing by vendor, it is sad I could not get audience of the Indiamart customer service manager to hear me out on this issue.

I am sharing this with a hope you will be very cautious and not suffer from vendors who act unprofessionally -like in my case calling me " arrogant, kiddish, your are not god, not teach me ethics so... " at least in half dozen emails with IndiaMart service agents in CC.

In my opinion and based on my experience with them when using IndiaMart please be cautious -

- When dealing with vendors even with Trust Seals listed on IndiaMart.

- I also feel IndiaMart is not customer friendly if any dispute arises, it won't act against delisting unprofessional vendors even when brought to notice.

- It is an advertising company and listing company paid by vendors - Customers are its products who even when treated unprofessional they show blind eye towards.

- Conditions in fine print may grant it a great degree of legal protection but I would want you to be aware of my experience.

Please share 1) If you have any similar experiences with IndiaMart 2) if there are better customer friendly alternatives to IndiaMart that support MSME's from india.

As agreed with IndiaMART, we have renewed our current membership for 1 year till 26-Oct-2021 and made payment against their invoice on August 2020, but since 4th September 2020 the Indiamart has converted our membership into a worst domestic service which is totally unacceptable and valid till 06-Mar-2021. This new service is useless for us and all those companies which are in exports business.

They are FRAUD and earning money by unfair means.

Most of leads they provide you is retail lead and other competitor also has access to it. They provide you direct lead which is forwarded to 50+ other competitors too. I bought yearly package staring from April 2020 to May 2021 in which foreign buy lead package was included. Now in November they told policy is changed and you can not access foreign buy leads and if you want to access you have to pay 3 times higher amount then which i paid. If you complaint then there representative and manager give default answer sir we know you were buying only foreign buy leads but company changed there policy. It means they also knows it is cheating but they can't do anything. Stay away from such company otherwise your hard earned money gets wasted.

This is nothing but a rip off! They charge $40 for expedited S&H and guarantee shipping to take no longer than 8 days! After I paid the $40 for expedited S&H it took 29 days before I received my order! There are so many other Companies and Country's that are 100% reliable as well as cheaper! I found Indiamart very unprofessional as well. I plan on reporting a particular swller to everyone possible in hopes that no other customer will have to experience what I've had to endure!

Indiamart is the worst platform to increase ur sales. Indiamart doesn't fulfill any promises they made before taking there package. We had taken membership of Indiamart for 3 years. We never got worthy leads and they share one lead with 10 to 20 peoples and the competition start there with your person and u have only 5% chances of getting the lead fulfill, it's totally impossible to earn from India Mart. There are too much competition & less margin. And, they're charging a huge amount for this poor worst service. They just want to collect money from sellers. It is my suggestion don't get trapped with Indiamart finally we stopped the services. BeAware of their marKeting tricks and don't fall for their false promises. I have realized at a painful cost that it is a platform for scammers to dupe and cheat innocent buyers. They have been a source of groups for scammers and take no responsibility. Their help desk is utterly useless and closes your complaints without any resolution. This is the worst level of scamming. Moreover, the dealers are verified by IndiaMART and IndiaMART did not even bother to support the buyers.

I bought gloves via indiamart from Arham Surgical & Healthcare last year 2019 November. I paid my last payment in March/April 2020 when the supplier told me that he was done with the production. The supplier then started coming up with excuses of why he can not send my goods that I fully paid for plus shipping to South Africa. I have been negotiating with the supplier to refund my company in full but haven't had any success. Please beware of this supplier. And indiamart has done nothing to help so far. It's like they don't care that I was defrauded from their website. Please Please beware of Arham Surgical & Healthcare.

IndiaMART creates fictitious business leads.

They will use some old leads (3 years old) and send it as enquiry to all the related business users as message.

Users are cheated as they feel business lead is generated but it is just some viewer might have accessed weblink of them on IndiaMART.

This is cheap marketing technique. After complaining about it, they will just call and inform that they have removed this message. But they will not send follow up message to users saying that it was generated by system and it is not actual business lead. They neither give me written confirmation that it was generated by them nor any mail was sent.

When I told them to close my account with them they changed default email and contact to some fictitious id (*******@gmail. Coon) and
Empty contact. So they now have my business record to misuse it further.

This has created bad name for our business and tarnished our image in market.

Do not ever join these kind of fake people.

Ive been having a doubts about dealing with companies from India at first.

Finally when I had been given the understanding by a comany that I was to attain a specific gemstone from a supplier, did I pay in full, upon the evidence and video that was sent from the company.

The agreement was for 9 x 7mm Unheated and Untreated Intense Blue Sapphire, for it was a specific size requested for my fiancé's ring.

Upon what was receiving the parcel in 10 days. It was not the agreed stone we had paid for.

The dimensions of the stones were 8.05 x 7.15mm which is incorrect. Which lead me to believe. If the dimensions are incorrect. Then obviously the gemstone is incorrect.

Tried contacting the supplier only to him not responding. Based in South Africa, did we find our from international couriers. Gemstones are prohibited to being returned to the country that it was sent from.

Very disappointing.

I WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND INDIAMART TO ANYONE. NOT NOW, NOT EVER.
