This was the perfect gift for my mom. She never would have sent off her vhs because the risk of losing them, so I did it for her! We had to send in 3 different rounds after finding more and more tapes (overall close to 100)! Each shipment, upload and return was flawless!
The box and materials were sent to me with great instructions. This is the second time I have sent in video tapes to convert to digital. I will be sending in the rest of them soon. The videos came out great!

In a panic I called the following Tuesday and customer service informed me they were able to track it the entire time because I had purchased and used their iMemories box. It had already arrived at their facilities! I was relieved, and then surprised when the digitized videos starting showing up in my account within days, and all completed within a week or so. Thanks so much for keeping our memories secure in transit!
It was easy to do, easy to view, easy to download the images and videos and save them. My mother recently passed away and while this was very expensive, I am so glad I did it! I got to see moments in my Mother's life I hadn't seen before. I will forever treasure having these memories in digital format. I just wish I had done it sooner, while my mom was still with us.

My wife's family were avid home movie buffs; and what a better way to view and save her memories from the 1960's to the late 1990's. Process from shipping to currently downloading the clips is super easy and consumer friendly.
We LOVE having all of our home movies easily accessible. The quality of the digital transfer is excellent.
I sent them 7 photos and 1 video cassette tape. The whole reason I looked into the company was for the tape, I was extremely excited to see what was on it because it one of the very few things I could find of my early childhood. I received the digital versions of the photos and they looked great. A few weeks went by and I had not received a digital copy of the tape yet so I emailed them and they explained that the tape was damaged and could be repaired, but not by them. I asked about a refund and they said that wouldn't be available due to the time and resources it took to check the cassette tape. I understand they can't convert a damaged tape but it was upsetting how I spent money to receive nothing in return. Also the fact that I had to email them asking about it or they wouldn't have even explained it to me.
Hi Olivia, Thank you for your feedback. When we do the digital conversion, we do notate the Order Status section of your account with real time updates regarding your order and any issues that arise. The tape we received had a damaged ribbon inside. Our team would have had to remove too much of the ribbon in order to repair it. This could have compromised the video or caused more damage with the ribbon. As a courtesy we will refund you for the work. You will see that refund in 3-5 business days. There are so many other options now for digitization, I found this a very expensive route. Over triple the prices of local options. Would recommend looking into other more affordable options.

So easy to use and all the videos turned out great! I was skeptical at first afraid of losing the video tapes in the mail but it went perfectly and was done in a timely manner. We had our first video uploaded within 2 days of them receiving our tapes!

I am very pleased with my experience with iMemories! My family has been so excited about transferring old VHS tapes to digital and being able to view them again. I especially like all the correspondence that they continually send to keep me updated on how to use their app! I would definitely recommend iMemories!
Overall it was ok. The price was too high. Also not sure if all the media provided were converted as there was no way to verify.

I've tried a couple times to download from the albums that were digitized but have been unable to get any downloads yet. I initiated the downloads, the showed the status as requested but I have been unsuccessful in getting them as of yet.

The iMemories cloud storage subscription is completely optional. It is one of the four ways customers have to save their memories. You can also purchase customized DVDs/USB drives(s) and/or download and save to your own computers and devices which is no charge. We do not automatically subscribe our customers to a storage plan.
