It was the easiest process and quicker turnaround than they estimated. I will be sending more to them to convert! My kids are loving the videos and being able to view them on their own phone or TV.

Submitted a broken VHS tape for digitizing. I was surprised that iMemories was able to recover the content. The final video represented the issues encountered with the broken tape at the beginning of the digitized material. I was satisfied with the end result.

When the Downloads are requested, we move the digital video file from our cloud service to your account. This can take a bit of time to process and complete. Once it is done you are able to click the orange Download button to save your memories to your device. All of your Albums were ready to be downloaded within a couple hours. It is wonderful to see the Christmases with my children, times with in-laws who have passed away and fun times with the family. These are gold to me. And they are affordable for someone who is on a fixed income.

To finally be able to watch footage from the 1970s as easy as watching Netflix on the TV is so special! We gathered the whole family and watched our memories for literally hours. I am so glad we did this!
Negatives were scanned, but not "enhanced" as their webpage says they will. When I asked them, they replied that they do not correct scratches (etc.). I was very disappointed in this. I chose iMemories mainly because they enhanced the scanned negatives.
Took them 2 weeks after receiving the Negatives before they were scanned. My first order was done within a few days. And it was weeks before they returned the negatives this time. They were not shipped until four days after they said that they were boxed and ready to ship.

IMemories specializes in creating a digital copy of old home movie films, videotapes, photos, slides, and negatives so they can be viewed again with today's technology. Negatives are dry cleaned, scanned through dust filters and put through a color correction process to ensure the colors look natural. If the negatives are scratched, have embedded dust or debris, you may want to consider restoration services that are beyond the digital conversion that iMemories offers.

Scanned pics were good. However, five of my pics were NOT scanned. That should not have happened. It's VERY easy to compare the pic counts billed to the number of scanned pics after. Also, all my negatives were in negative pages. Each page contained the negatives in a sorted order. I would have expected them to be scanned in that same order, but they were not. Not a major issue, but it made more work for me. Also, many of the negatives were placed back into the pages backwards and/or upside-down. And some were placed on top of each other in the same slot.
Frankly, since the process leaves something to be desired, it makes me wonder if the pics were "fixed" as they were expected to be.
Also, I did not expect that I would be required to purchase another shipping box and pay for added shipping. The first box should have easily been reused, and shipping costs should not be $30.

The process was easy. Send in the tapes and the tell you when they let you know when they are done. You can download them and then when they are all done they send the tapes back to you.
I had 6 children back to back ( a set of twins in there). I have very little memory of those days. Thank goodness much of it was recorded. At least I can enjoy them in this way.
The only problem was a slight lack of communication right after I mailed the videos to them. I did not hear back right away and got a little concerned, but I emailed customer service, and they responded the next morning.
I believed that I memories would take my tapes and be able to convert them in good quality. I can view my tapes right now and adjust the focus and they come in a lot clearer than the digital conversions that I received from my memories. Not worth what I paid. Sad
Appreciated simplicity and speed of service. Photos were high quality and returned quickly after being scanned.
