While the products I received were good quality, I didn't know I had "agreed to" a subscription until I was charged for and received another box of products. I wrote their customer service and asked for a refund and to be removed from the "auto-replenish" program.

I responded that, no, I didn't agree to a subscription and I wanted a refund. That's when the crickets started--I've not heard back. I even messaged them on Facebook. No response.
They also sent a link to where I could find the subscription but I was sent to a page where I could choose the timing for receiving my products. I couldn't find a link to CANCEL.
Avoid this company unless you want to get locked in to something you didn't agree to.
This is the second time I tried an Il Makiage product and I couldn't be happier with the results so far! The ordering process is super easy and the items get to you so fast!
I recently took the perfect match quiz online and ordered both foundation and concealer. Tbh it was not my perfect shade. But as promised I sent it back hassle free and am trying out another shade The quality is great with the perfect shade.
My experience with Il Makiage has always been wonderful, products are fantastic and customer service is fantastic as well always quick to return messages. I use them as often as I can.
The quiz asked good questions and was very straightforward. From the pictures of the foundation and concealer, I think it will be a great match. I'm excited to receive them!
My checkout experience was quick and easy. However, I had a hard time trying to add products to my next autoreplenish box and had to end up purchasing them at full price because I was afraid they would be out of stock by the time I was able to get them on an auto replenishment order.
Products are decent for the price.I do wish they would last longer, as promoted/advertised for what is charged, but the occasional coupons help make it a little more worth while and affordable. Nice colors, quality, variety otherwise.plus great customer service/support.

I have definitely found my favorite foundation and when I accidentally ordered a shade too light - and then completely forgot to reach out in time - they were gracious enough to offer me a gift card to re-order my shade! I will most certainly be ordering again and again.
Tried to order your products with the try it before you buy it that you guys offer and when I entered, my credit card information was told was unable to accept that form of payment. Enter new credit card information and was excepted, but charged me full price instead of the try it before you buy it price. Was not happy with that.
Wanted to try one of the products, and once I bought it, I got a code for $20 off. However, this only pertains to items that don't require to take a quiz. Literally every item I was looking at. They are required a quiz. Little bit frustrating, so hopefully the product will be better than their misleading promos

I wanted to buy concealer but was uncertain of the color based on my Il Makiage foundation. I sent an email over the weekend and received a response back within hours with not only the concealer recommendation, but all makeup options that complement my foundation color! Not only do I love my foundation, I now love Il Makiage's customer service!
Love, Love,Love the product! It is by far the best foundation I have ever purchased. I am 57 and I can't believe it has taken my entire life to find a foundation I truly loved. The shade I received with my first shipment was slightly lighter than I would have liked and I am sure that is was my error in how I answered the questionnaire. However I have to tell you the customer service I received on a Sunday I may add, was amazing. From the minute I emailed to inquire about a possible exchange, in less than one hour my new replacement was shipped! Now that is customer service! I can't wait to receive my order!
I had ordered before and then switched back to drug store brands which I regret. I had to switch back because I love the way this makeup looks, feels and I get compliments on my skin again which is awful. Best product I have ever used and the color matching is great!
From their skin care line to their face make up, eyeliners and mascaras their products are wonderful …and their customer service is great!

Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
