I am writing to share my observations and recommendations regarding the use of Ibotta. While I appreciate the cashback offers, I have consistently encountered a limitation that hinders my ability to maximize my savings.
Currently, the advertisements displayed on the Ibotta app often features products and categories that I have no interest in or do not purchase. As a result, I miss out on valuable cash back opportunities.

Repeatedly there are issues which make me not use Ibotta or recommend it.
Yesterday I uploaded a receipt from Winn Dixie. Immediately a pop-up stated this does not look like a Winn Dixie receipt. Despite the printed logo on top. I am asked to scan my two products. Then I receive a message that the receipt could not be read.
Later I upload the receipt. Same pop up. Asked to scan the two products and then I receive reimbursement from only one product.
So I guess I will try again later today to get credit for the second product.
Can you believe that I actually purchased two products? That I uploaded a receipt that clearly shows the retailer AND the two products? Can you believe that your software SUCKS? I think on this is becoming a scam so that you reimburse actually little compared to what is submitted.
CS is always very helpful when I have encountered an issue which is very rare and always ending in a positive way. Thank you!
I've been using the app for 5-6 years. My experience has been incredible through the years. If I ever experience an issue, which is rarely CS always is able to help me with a satisfactory answer. There are times when I wish some offers like daily foods: milk, eggs, produce were permanent especially right now with inflation & the cost of food going up. I would also like to have a little more cushion on the bonus offers, like if I couldn't meet my goal, at least to give me a little percentage at the end (crossing fingers). I do still enjoy the app. I totally recommend the use of this if you would like to have a little extra.

A great way to save on groceries. When a submitted item is missed, the IBotta staff corrects it quickly.
I Make a list before I go shopping and write down all my rebates for ibotta first. I use the app to see if the product matches in the store but when I get home and scan the receipt ibotta says it is not on my receipt. Very disappointing cause when I scan it in the store to see it the produce is a match it says matched. I have to take extra time out of my day to go back to the store and return the produce cause I will not buy it without a rebate. Gas prices are very high today as well.
Easy way to get money back without coupons and if you use it with the sales can really add up.Ive used it for years.
Last week my saved debit card on my walmart app was hacked. So when I went to Walmart to shop for my ibotta items I used cash. The receipt had a terrible line right down the middle and I could not scan the bar code and could not quite make out the numbers on the tc#. I immediately emailed ibotta customer car with a detail description and photos of my reciept. Within 24 hours I received my money and had a response email letting me know all was taken care of.
This is happened more than once I submitted a receipt said I purchased two and they only put one then I have to say I'm missing items and then I wait to see if It
SKEPTICAL after first...thankfully wrong. Offers a wide range of substantial rebates at a nice range of stores. Never had problems submitting receipts...amazingly fast rebates to my account. Highly recommend IBOTTA.
When I entered my receipt it shows I purchased 2 of the item. Should have gotten $2.00 back., but only got $1.00. Even said when I did it that I got back $2.00

Took a few days. But got the missing cash back.
I had questions regarding missing cash back. Staff was very responsive and included information regarding adding offers prior to service. Very impressed with customer service.
It's getting harder and harder to find offers for anything that you would normally buy. Ibotta is still better than some of it's competitors but things are going downhill. On the positive side, Ibotta's receipt processing is much better than Fetch and it's rare to have to correct a receipt.
These folks extended courtesy for me as I failed to check the.item before purchase. I can't tell you just how aprecitive I am!
If you shop alot and are tying to save a little money, Ibotta has been a lifesaver on getting some added cash back on items we purchase. Highly recommend it - five star app, runs smoothly, haven't had a single complaint and have been using it for 2 solid years now.
I can simply say I was able to find something from my shopping list on the Ibotta app while shopping at Target. I was reimbursed a descent amount and overall happy and excited to continue shopping at many other locations with this app.

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
Answer: Sorry Jenna bit it seems like you're kinda late for that rebate a few years actually. I'm pretty sure that ibotta have 100% absolutely forgot about you and by not I'm sure you forgot about too. :)
Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
