Basic Hulu is comparable with other similar streaming channels such as Sling. We upgraded Hulu a commercial free status. This started an abundance of problems. After the commercials are turned off and the higher fee is paid they continue to pop up which requires contacting Hulu. This typically results in a minimum of an hour on chat with Hulu. Often customer service agents are unresponsive, send us to another agent without warning. Eventually the problem is fixed for 24 hours. Then it begins again. While basic Hulu is fine, I strongly suggest not upgrading as Hulu can not stand behind their product nor offer decent support. We are once again on chat support for a failed product with very long wait times for the 3rd time in a week. We plan to cancel at month end and go with another channel due to this very frustrating and ongoing experience. It's very disappointing because we really wanted to keep the service.
So, I cancelled Hulu earlier this month because I wanted to watch local channels and local sports via Fubo. Since I had paid for November, Hulu indicated that my viewership would remain the same until November 30.
However, since my cancellation Hulu has obstructed me from signing on every day to the extent that they have created an error message making my sign on take much more time. I will not be subscribing to Hulu any further due to their juvenile tactics.
I was on the phone with them for 3 day they couldn't access my email my service was shut off before my payment was due wouldn't take any of my debit cards says system problems accur I'm done went to YouTube live TV and convinced 10 friends to do the same
May I ask why is the African American section on hulu labeled as black stories? We are not a color WE ARE HUMANS! There isn't a white stories section on hulu and I feel that is not rite!
Seems to be a lot of streaming issues, ie; paused programming, very slow updates on recorded shows, lots of lag time on network series programs, too many homosexual displays on the screen, etc.
I was double charged by hulu & telling me coz i have accidental different email which is a lie

I just spoke with HULU, customer support, would not offer discount or credit, towards our bill, with had no power or internet for over 2 weeks, poor judgement, on there part, will look for other options, since they are pricey to begin with!
2 days into the free period. The commercials are ill-placed. The buffering is constant. I don't have these issues with other streaming platforms. There is exclusive content that I want to see but so far I'm getting loading errors.
Wish it had better audio adjustment. When it comes to commercials, every time they come on, it blasts out waking you up compared to what you are watching. Hulu plz fix yo sheet
You accept ads featuring Joe Rogan lying about the Illinios SAFE-T Act that doesn't just let the rich get out of jail. Come on, at least put a warning that the commercial is a lie.
Hulu has gotten so bad. Can't watch a show without it freezing every other minute. And now NBC shows are no longer available. I will be ending my subscription.

Well finally the retry charge button is there instead of having to go thru whole process. #2. Hulu gives a couple days heads up before they cut off And #3 they finally linked w my phone in sayingmy password had been coprimised. I would love for Apple to be more like Hulu! Hulu has made watching a program on their base plan the most torturous experience ever. Its a commercial blitzkrieg, such a waste of time - commercials every 5 minutes, they never stop. It would make Mother Teresa want to bust a cap is someone's $#*!! Thanks H

Not worth my money right now
I bought the Black Friday special last year. I have been charged 10 months but wouldn't let me login to watch. I contacted support twice. They never offered to help me just cancelled after 10 months of payments
Hulu used to always have the same day episode of General Hospital on each evening by 7 pm cst. But for the last few months it is a day or two later. What is up? They want to charge us more, for not giving the good service we had before this? Also no enough shows to binge watch. Instead of older tv shows to binge, they keep adding Hulu originals etc that only have less than 12 episodes. Very disappointed with this, and have been a member for over 10 yrs. Always recommended them to my friends, but now? No
If you start a game late don't expect to want it till the end! When the game is done in real time it moves you right along to the next programming! Garbage. Get bend Hulu.
I recently came back to Hulu b/c they offer network tv as well as the sports stations I watch. For some reason, after 1 week I have had 4 problems with recording. I spent 45 minutes with a very nice & competent young man who was not able to help me. He said the issue is my Mac security & Hulu's sensitivity. If I can't record & skip commercials, there's no point. I guess I'm going back to Fubo
I just wanted to watch one movie on this dumb streaming website and I got the basic subscription. WITH ADS. Usually that means you can actually watch things just with ads. But no, it actually means you can watch about 5 different things and the other 300,000 things cost another $70 per month. I hate Hulu. All other streaming services are better than this one.

Answer: Happened to me. Stay away from hulu. My systems is high speed and works great with YouTube 4k and Netflix 4K HDR. Hulu obviously is bandwidth limited which might work for customers who watch old movies but their technology is not good for 1080P and modern technology.
