I have always had good experiences working with HUBZU as a closing attorney and even when I assisted my son to purchase from HUBZU.
I have a number of clients that buy through HUBZU and, once the buyer gets through the signing of the initial contract and forwards the deposit, it is very easy to get answers from HUBZU through emails. They are always responsive and usually in a quick manner.

The most respectful and helpful company I've ever did business this. They are soft spoken and very interested in your needs. I've never spoken to a business like this before. I just wanted to update my first review in May 2018. We won an online auction in July 2017, this was a cash deal so closing was only going to take 14-21 days. As of today September 7 2018 we still have not closed on this property. Altisource is the closing agent, with Ocwen Loan Servicing being the seller. I have email communication stating that the seller has title to mobile home placed on the property, only to find out the the seller does NOT have title to the mobile home. Please be very cautious when using hubzu and all businesses associated with this site. Do your homework prior to placing any bid. Make sure to check on unpaid taxes, title search, home inspection, so forth. The reason we have dealt with this so long is to keep another unsuspecting purchaser from being swindled into a shady deal.

Poor program

The agent I just worked with was great. Hubzu program is poor. The site is poor, very little description and no info on insepctions or coop with broker.
I apparantly won the bid but was not advised for 3 days.

I won the auction with my bid well over the reserve price- CASH, NO CONTINGENCY. 2 days later I got an email saying "the seller has rejected your bid"... with no explanation provided. The property was relisted within 2 hours.

Any reasonable person can conclude this is deceptive practice, if not outright fraud.

Just because a company states in their TOS that they have the right to do anything they want doesn't mean it should be able to circumvent the laws of ethical business. They are wasting many people's time and resources with their deceptive business.

My client saw a home on Hubzu that was also listed in the MLS. The property has been on the market for 50+days. The listing stated that a traditional sale was also an option. My client wanted me to bid on the property. He was willing to pay the list price but the auction price was a little lower and had no bidders with 2 days left. So we bid. In the meantime I called Altisource and offered the listing agent a cash deal. I was told I had to wait until the auction ended. I think OK no problem. The next day I go look at the property on Hubzu. Guess what they did. They closed the auction. I think ok I should be getting a call in reference to my offer. Nope no call. So I call them and ask what's going on with the property. I was told that the seller wanted to re-list it and that a new auction was going to begin that evening. I asked how long was the auction going to be. I was told 7 days. I ask why when I have a willing and ready buyer and an all cash deal. The customer service rep had no clue why, the listing agent was not returning my phone calls or emails(sent Internally, supposedly).
Auction begins I bid and go to bed. Next day I look i am out bid by 5 other bidders.
I have one bidder bid against himself his first bid was $ 128k then he bids again
$ 153K. I don't know what's going on but it smells real fishy. So me and my client are sticking with traditional sales or more reputable sites like Homepath and Homesteps. Any good reviews on here about HUBZU are lies. Horrible listing agents and clueless reps. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
