I found charges for Howly and said please cancel and refund my money. This was done and the next month it was there again. I again called and said I wasn't canceled and again charged. They said they would cancel again but only give me a partial refund of the $34 charge - $19. I don't even know what service this company offers but I hope I am done with it.

I was in contact with them for about 5 mins. And they charged me £26 They did not tell me I was taking out a contract all i wanted was some advice I expected to get back £25 but I have had no answer from them so I certainly would not recommend them to anyone

I spent two weeks in a nightmare of extremely poor connectivity. I tried reaching out to technicians with no resolution. Went through about 15 different techies. Then suddenly I was somehow switched over to Howly. That advisor seemed better, but I had to leave consult. The next day I tried to get back to the site, but noted there was a discrepancy on the charge. One for the $1. The other for $47! I am furious! I am disputing it. Oh, and BTW, the issue was still not solved! What a bummer!

Dishonest. Aug 14, i gave $1 for what turned out to be a google search instructional i already had; it was not what i needed. Howly took $1 + $46. I immediately filed report, cancelled subscription. Howly returned $1 + $23. A week later, 4 emails, multiple phone calls & Howly has yet to return rest of stolen funds. I have filed grievance with BBB who DOES NOT ACCREDIT the howly scam.

I was transferred to them by another call that said they could help me with an issue and told there would be a $1 fee and after that I could cancel their service. They couldn't help so I said ok. I tried to cancel. Got an email that said we got your cancelation and sorry to see you go. But later checked my bank account and they not only took the $1 out, they took an additional $46!

I "joined" for $2 (actually $61!) in a last ditch attempt to get help to get my Facebook account back. They did not help. When I went to try to login to membership (as they advise to be able to cancel), I logged in to an area that would only let me join again, this time for $1 and $76 a month to try to cancel the first subscription. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. They did not help me at all and now I can't undo my association with them. I cancelled with Paypal and hope that will be enough, but my credit card expires soon, so that's the only other plus. Facebook ran me in circles and all this lot did was get me to do the same stuff, and the fact that I cannot easily end my subscription is the bitter end. NOT a LEGIT BUSINESS.

I was told about a dollar charge and toward the end of the call I couldn't understand because of not being able to understand what was being said. Is that when the monthly charge was described?
I don't even know for what. I did give the lady a thumbs up because she was helping me before the phone call became garbled. I had to call Netgear to get my router to work afterwards.
I did inform the company that this was charged to and they are looking into it.
