When I registered the domain name, within 24 hours there were over 45 people contacting my phone number and email about building a free website. Something is happening with email scraping and spamming customers. If you don't fix this, people are going to think it's your fault and not buy from you again.

The regular price was similar to my current provider and included SSL (what i feel is essential to running a website). While they often brag about their customer service, it has not been my experience that their customer service is anything special, while I have been impressed with the care i have received so far.

Besides the fact that I am contacting them for a second time to resolve the same issue that they said was reviewed and was fine and have wasted half a day trying to move forward shows me there is no customer support in place to handle their clients.

I chose hostgator because of the low price, but poor service comes with it. I can't get my domains transferred, and moving my hosting over has been a pain in the butt, and it's not done.
