This is NOT a user friendly hosting company and finding a template is painful, actually. Don't know if I login under Word Press, or Host Gator or what! I have built 2 sites many years ago, and it was simpler back then!

I chose HostGator based on positive online reviews. Unfortunately, I found the layout very unnatural and ultimately too confusing for me to continue. The color choice is very unengaging, and I don't say this to be rude. I have experimented with a handful of web hosting platforms, and I would love to return once the platform has been made more intuitive.

Customer service is not good. A lot of inconsistent info and effort. I had a very hard time sorting out my ssl issues. Ive been dealing with this issue for a couple of months. A lot of wasted time. I cannot use the free ssl you provide with payment services. Only one rep knew this after many interactions. Took way too long to learn that i needed to get a paid one.

Ad on IG. Decided to buy because of a recommendation by the HostGator Support live chat but the information was wrong and once I purchased the plan nothing I wanted was included, now I am stuck here if I don´t want to spend more money trying to change my plan or hosting services for the momment...
