Our website was taken down without notice. We need this corrected ASAP
We have been with HostGator for close to 20 years. Overseas Tech Support
Is not knowledgeable of sympathetic of issues at hand and the seriousness of this issue. Our Business is completely shut down without our data. Had to call sales dept to get tech support in the USA spent 4 hours yesterday trying to get this issue resolved and the calls were either drop or i was hung up on after 30-40 minutes on hold waiting 3 times. Please call me *******059 to see how we can at least do a temporary fix so we can pull our data out. We are losing our google #1 rankings that took years to obtain.

I chose hostgator because of excellent review on other sites. However, since I have tried to operate within the system I has been unable to import my blog (which was only 7 posts long). In addition attempting to upload images results in a failure to upload every time. If this is how you treat new customers I can't imagine how you treat long time customers that have been locked in for years.

First call was wonderful and full of good info. Spoke with a young man obviously from US. Clear reception, no background chatter from other personnel.
Second call was awful. Poor reception, noisy staff in background, difficult to understand accent.

I was the victim of a fraudulent transaction last year and I am still feeling the harsh repercussions of it. My card registered for automatic payment with HostGator was replaced. I tried to cover everything the card had on auto payment, however I had not remembered my HostGator account. I just found out everything is gone. It was deleted on 2/28/2022. I found this out through customer service yesterday. I never received 1 notification of failure of payment by email or mail. I would like to think there are systems in place when something like this transpires. The customer service rep worked with me yesterday to try to restore my website and "escalated" the issue. I was told it would be back up within 24 hours and I would receive email communication. I have not received anything and the website is still down. Someone, please contact me on this issue.
