I have contacted support chat twice and both times they said someone from the team will contact me. That was last week and at least 7 days ago. In the meantime, my hosted websites are still down with malware.

The service is poor. First they motivate to get unlimited hosting and take lot of money. Later on when we park simple blogs, they put down the hosting. I subscribed for three years but hardly i used it for 6 months.
Price, but the quality of customer service and the quality and performance of HostGator services - especially migration and codeguard are appalling!
Excellent support! Over the last 2 decades I've taught myself many things, but when I get really stuck I know I can go to Hostgator Support and they will bend backwards to help me find the solutions I need. When they can't they are gracious to offer more suggestions that I can check out. In the last 2-3 years I've been trying to learn to set up an eCommerce site. I've run into dead-ends several times, and Support has done their best to help me out. I don't know if I'll learn as much as they know, but I am gaining in experience and persistence in my learning curve.

Terrible support. No help at all. I can not wait to move my business to another company.

There needs to be a beginner section of how to size pictures, how to retain quality, and understand of file size for ease of opening.
Then trouble shooting, what is after the thumb nail for example is correctly sized and confirmed in file attributes yet it still dose not upload right... all messed up. Perhaps clearing cookies, where else?
