After over 13 phone calls from 6:30am EST to 1pm EST I finally got someone on the phone that knew what reverse PTR was and how to handle it. I will tell you your level 1 support is horrible and they need to be better trained. I am still having issues with ticket number *******. It's been 3 weeks and level 2 support is absolutely horrible. Still have not fixed the issue and it needs to be resolved.

My only issue is that it is sometimes down which I assume is normal with hosting but 98% of the time it's up and running smoothly. Amazing customer support and many options and add-ons to choose from and scale up when necessary.

Your products are good and are of quality. However, your support team, particularly your live chat support team doesn't really put their tasks/job at heart. They are just like robots commanded to run specific tasks and they cant adjust themselves depending on the situation... It's not all of them, around 10-20% of the time, they do help me really, but the rest of the time, they dont.

Sri Lanka being a poor country the price of your product is very expensive. Try to make price reductions in countries like this. That way even we can market this hosting service

I have found the site easy to navigate and very easy to manage my corporate emails for my staff. The only issue seems to be logging onto webmail, which work intermittently or not at all. We typically use outlook or an email app which work well. Something that I would really like to see in the future is an out of office feature/redirect notice feature as the email apps don't offer them and it would be great to control those at the HR level.

Migration was quick and I only had the initial wait of I think 24 hours before it was active. Great price too!

The site transfer took a bit of work, but that was expected. The favicon took some doing to determine how to replace your gator icon. Still working on a few issues you do not support. Mostly related to scripts.

Now, if your sister company, left nameless, would only permanently delete my old account.

I have a website that was set up bya graphic designer. I love the ease of being able to add to, update in minimal time. The builder is truly user friendly.

Is complicate, but resolved! Please don't make it more difficult than what can be!

I made a request to change the billing term for my Weebly add-on from monthly to the more cost-effective annual term. Hostgator was unable to complete this simple request without cancelling my current add-on and losing my website data, thereby completely disrupting the functioning of my websites. In order for them to proceed, they told me that they'd have to cancel my current add-on and re-add the new add-on with annual term.

When I asked if I could simply switch to annual upon the completion of my monthly term, I was told that Hostgator does not have an option to only change the term from monthly to annually. Yet on its website, Weebly states explicitly that it allows customers to make precisely these sorts of changes to their accounts with no hassle.

I have not had a single problem with Hostgator so far, which is a big compliment considering that I always had problems with other companies before moving to Hostgator. One thing I can complain about is the bandwidth, I get limited bandwidth from Hostgator whereas prior to moving to Hostgator; my hosting company gave me unlimited bandwidth.

The price to start is reasonable, my site loads quickly and has been up basically always, and most of the processes are seamless. I'm not looking forward to a price hike at renewal, however (we'll see), and the portal could be better organized/more user-friendly.
