I had Mayur help me out today regarding domain redirection, SSL, and SiteLock issues. I found some information along the way which I should have read the fine print regarding after one year of the free upgrade Postive SSL and SiteLock that I needed to pay for renewal. However, this experience is about the interaction between myself and Mayur. Mayur was very informative about the redirection as I did not think it was possible to have the domain.com redirect to domain.ca as the latter domain is from another webhost company due to Hostgator not being allowed to offer domain.ca domains. I am content that I am able to place the free SSL certificate on domain.ca and have the domain.com (purchased through Hostgator) redirected to it. Thanks to Mayur for your assistance! I have been in contact with your support team more than 10 times in the last 2 months and every person that I have been in contact with has been very sweet and helpful and I then always give a good review after the chat, but unfortunately after 2 months the problem is still there. Let me give you a quick summery of the problem I have
I have a website and hosting with HG peppstuckshop.com and I was in the process of creating another website but the domain name was with Godaddy and I wanted it all under one service provider so I transferred the domain guidetoketosis.com from Godaddy to HG and upgraded my hosting package with HostGator (big mistake)
The website that I wanted to load on that domain is a pre-built website purchased from thePLRstore,com my agent (web builder) and I tried numerous times to upload the website without success
So after a chat with one of your support team on the 27/12/22 and he assured me that it is all working fine now I was still not able to load the website
I was now at my wits end so I reopened my Godaddy account bought a new domain and hosting and loaded the website the same day the website is now ketosis4u.com I guess I won't need the domain guidetoketosis.com anymore.

You need to improve your overall service. It was my big regret to choose this hosting. It's a pain in my neck. My gosh, my client's site is down for no reason. Your technical support could not solve the problem, and I was forced to migrate to different hosting.

From time to time, I have issues with my VPS website, which I've had for the past year. While its implementation hasn't been smooth, with many more outages than I would have expected, about half the time I can get decent help. Recently, I've learned about how to reset my server. While I couldn't do that on my own today, I set out for help from Host Gator -- in the early hours of Christmas Day. Not the way I wanted to spend my morning. However, Sherry was there quickly, and she was very fast to respond to my issue, providing me with quick questions and quick guidance that taught me a new path for resetting my server and ultimately fixing the problem that brought my server down. I'm not 100% certain the issue is fixed, but Sherry's help led to restoring my sites in about 10 total minutes. Past times sometimes take lengthy periods waiting for a reply from the support person, sometimes with our getting disconnected from timing out. Not this time. I'm really relieved I'm not spending all morning on this issue. Thank you, Sherry!
