Disappointing Experience with Hometown I recently purchased sofa from hometown and was thoroughly disappointed with the quality. Despite the attractive design and initial impression and the hefty pricing, the piece has proven to be poorly made and sagged within 1 year of normal use. *Issues:* 1. *Construction:* The furniture feels flimsy and cheaply constructed.
2. *Materials:* The materials used are subpar and lack durability.
3. *Customer Service:* The response from customer service is totally unhelpful and does not address the issue. Instead they demand extra money *Recommendation:* Based on my experience, I would caution others to carefully consider their purchase. While the design may be appealing, the quality issues outweigh the benefits. The quality totally unjustified the price. *Advice:* 1. Don't fall into trap. Just fancy furnitures with ultra low quality.
2. Read reviews from multiple sources.
3. Consider alternative brands or stores.

Given the fact the available (one) washroom appeared absolutely filthy and dirty had immediately and seriously impacted/my position to purchase anything from them at all I left abruptly The washroom facilties literally stink so bad you could loose your lunch! It will take me along time to overcome the short experience of just being in their store for just 5 to ten mins, required a washroom and discovering that filthy waste can and the smell. Unbelieveable!... It was so bad I needed to cancel my lunch plans with my friends I tend to be rather sensitive when I encounter filth Needless to say, I did not stink around and buy anything from them but ran out of the store in horror!.and will never go into that place again. It was my first ever experience with them and it is also my last!

I ordered a Spray Scent and a Candle. My entire Family couldn't smell anything ( honest).I returned the same day.I paid $59.98 which was so much money, I expected some Great Smells. Very disappointed...Plus only getting Back $40.00 they charged Alot shipping charges...Not Again Ever

I had ordered a study table from home town online on 25th May 2021 and I was told that it would be delivered by 10th June. But now I am being informed through mail that the table would be delivered on 17th July.
The phone calls are not received, there is a huge gap among the team members, with no one knowing what is actually happening.
They are not refunding my money, they are not delivering the product, I have filed a case against Home Town.
My sincere advice to one and all is- don't buy anything online from home town.
And a little piece of advice to the owner of home town- CHANGE YOUR STAFF- it is pathetic!

I wrote a review under another email. I had said that I disliked Hometown. I have changed my mind. They remodel homes with creativity and in a thrifty way and some of the redos are pretty awesome. It took a while to get into the show but I really like these people and they save people a ton of money with there great creativity. Everybody has quirks and this is really okay. Some of the other new shows are hard to get into but I feel fortunate that I did in fact start watching Hometown sometimes.

REFUND PENDING SINCE 8th Oct 2019. This is reg order ID **************770. Product received on 7th Oct 2019 is not at all up to the expectation, first information given to Amazon CC on 8th Oct 2019. Very hard to move mechanics seems to be of inferior quality. Since 8th Oct, 19 tickets were raised, File Claim was initiated, A to Z was initiated, have written to buyer-claims & resolution email IDs, have spoken MULTIPLE times with Amazon CC executives, BUT NOTHING and MY MONEY IS STUCK UP.

I suggest everyone please do not purchase anything from HOMETOWN (Future retail) any furniture, home décor & any other things.
Recently I had very pathetic experience with these company persons.
I have purchased one king size bed & one three door wardrobe. They people first delayed delivery then after too much follow up they delivered it.
But now those all material is in de assembled form and kept in boxes, now I am struggling with hometown to arrange a assembling person.
They people are not ready to support customer, my material kept in boxes, no senior management is listening to issues.
My 25 k money is just going to waste also they people are saying if some other person will assemble then warranty will not be considered.
Please don't waste money and time by purchasing from future retail companies.
