HomeLight was amazing! The introduced me to various interested parties for my house. This allowed me to make an educated decision on how I wanted to sell. Additionally, I met an amazing agent, Alicia Thomas, through their service. She helped me get a contract 8 days after listing! We definitely wouldn't have met her without them.

I worked with two different realtors while buying and selling my homes through Homelight. Jen was wonderful. There were a lot of problem with the house we were buying and she made things happen! Lily helped us sell. We kind of lost money on the sale. Lily was helpful though. Of course it would have been better if we had gotten what we should have for that sale.

I was very pleased by the quick response from all of the well qualified realtors that responded to my Homelight relator inquiry. I was also able to interview about 90 % of them. Because they were all well qualified, it was difficult to make a selection of just one realtor. We noted to Linda that we expected the house to sell in one weekend, which it did, and Linda made that happen after introducing the house as a "coming soon" for a week before the house officially became available on the market. I reached out to a broker who was referred by HomeLight, to help with the sale of my home. The agent was able to show the property to prospective buyers, and I entered into contract with one of them within days. The sale closed successfully shortly thereafter.

I contacted Homelight as they were part of my employers discount program. I didn't expect the quick turn around. After a representative took down all my information, she immediately connected me to Laura Rabas of Keller Williams. Laura immediately set up a date to meet. She was the last of 5 interviews, and she won our hearts. By Monday we had pictures done, listed Tuesday, sold on Friday night. Thank you Homelight.

They say they will make an offer but that is NOT true. It's just a scam to try and get a referral from a real estate company.

This review is about HomeLight Simple Sale product. Their team members can't agree on the process. Every person tells you something different about how it should work. They made an offer on my home and wanted me to sign the deed over to them and have it recorded a month before paying me for it! Then they changed their tune after I threatened to report their deceptive practices to the Department of Insurance. After that they decided to charge me closing fees and HOA docs fee on top of me giving them a 10% concession on the price. They do not put earnest money in escrow and they also use their in-house escrow so that they control whether you get paid or not. Escrow is supposed to be an independent unbiased third party to ensure integrity. Not the case with HomeLight, who is the buyer and also the escrow company, so they take your deed and record it, and become the owner, but whether they pay you for your property or not is uncertain because they are not a legitimate third party, but rather a department of their company under the same umbrella. They also tie you up in a contract so that once you realize they are trying to defraud you and try to get out of it, they slap you with all kinds of penalties for not going through with it.

All this is is a site to collect YOUR information so that they could give it to annoying real estate people to call you to get a listing fee. Don't fall for it. They do not tell you property value like other sites freely without the need to divulge your personal history. Go to Trulia or Zillow for an easy price quote. Also, you can save THOUSANDS of dollars if you want to list your property yourself for a set fee and save the exorbitant listing agent 3% cost.

He who has the most $ wins and Homelight and their STINKY TV ads have a ton of dough. They are a bunch of vultures. Do NOT use them! Plus there are ZERO Google reviews about Homelight! Which tells YOU they do NOT want Google reviews. So there they are!

Don't response and never made a official offer just ask for info and stop replying Bill is totally unprofessional and untrusted just use a trusted realtor much better

I had a great experience dealing with HomeLight to find a real estate agent to sell my home. I originally contacted your service using a LifeMart link. My initial referral was for an agent I had a bad experience with in the past. I spoke with one of your reps and was sent a list of 3 more agents, which I interviewed using questions from an article I received from HomeLight. I chose Katie Perrone of Coldwell Banker Whitbeck (*******@whitbeckassociates.com). She was very professional, knowledgable, abided by COVID-19 prevention standards, and provided me excellent and expert service. She reviewed my home with me in detail and pointed out areas for improvement to maximize the sale of my property. Once Ms. Perrone listed my home, I received an offer and was under contract in 2 days. The house was listed for $349,900 and sold for $349,000. Ms. Perrone was very informative throughout the process and was always available by phone or text whenever needed. I feel fortunate to have worked with Ms. Perrone and highly recommend her.
