I ordered from what i was lead to believe was a uk site, only to recieve a bill for import duty. Turns out they sent it from hong kong. I spoke to daisy on live chat and she said i must have ordered wrong and then shut the call off. Really poor allround dont use them

I waited in the morning for 1 hour on the "Live Chat" I went to the bathroom for 4 minutes and they were gone... I called "Live Chat" in the afternoon waited for 10 min before getting connected with "Daisy"... It took 10 minutes between my texting her and her getting back to me, I wasted 1 more hour, I said to ship it from the US warehouse, But they decided I wanted it from Hong Kong,,, 6-39 days... Ya right! I drove to the Hobby store 10 minutes away and got what I wanted... NEVER EVER AGAIN! I sure wish I had read this site first!
I placed an order for about $240 worth of merchandise. They hit me with a $65 shipping charge. When I complained they cancelled my order. BEWARE: If you don't specify the "US warehouse" they ship your order from Hong Kong. They say it will arrive in 21 days but the charge is more than FedEx charges for 3-4 business day delivery. My complaint was handled by Rachel, who has lost $240 worth of business for her company, plus whatever I might have ordered in the future. I hope Hobbycraft management is reading this so they take appropriate action.
Agreed that Hobbyking are dishonest - beware everyone - I've been charged for a parcel 3 months ago - it's not turned up and they are still "investigating" - I get a new service person every email - who don't seem to know my issues - I've now been blocked from the LIVE SUPPORT as I won't let up and their responses. Poor and scrapy service - buyer beware!
Have made 6 orders from HK and had issues with 4 of them. They were less than truthful about what was in stock in the USA warehouse, they sent wrong parts from Hong Kong and wanted 27 kinds of documentation of their mistake for 12 bucks worth parts. Shipping from the global warehouse goes the absolute longest way around the universe. I have done business with a number of venders in Hong Kong and HK is without a doubt the poorest in customer service and promptness. Be sure to use paypal and have an enormous amount of time if you order from HK. I will not place another order from them no matter how good the prices.
Extremely terrible merchant! Ordered parts, critical part of the kit is missing! Cant use kit, asked support to ship part, they ignored me at all, support chat window closes automatically, email tickets never replied. Add to that they overcharged my order and instead of giving money back they give me store credit. This site is Chinese ripoff (No disrespect to Chinese people though, but merchant is in China)
I am having a heck of a time with my order that was placed on the 10th. I had one item (6 units) that were JIT. On the 11th, it shows that the items were pulled from the warehouse. On the 14th, it shows that the items were taken off of the truck, but only 5 items were taken off of the truck. My order still says received.
I have spoken with support every day for the past 6 days, and I get the run around. I am told, it will ship out in 24 hours. I was told there's a delay in the big warehouse. This leaves me to believe that no one actually looked into my issue.
I had out this order in within enough time to get to me for a build workshop I was hosting yesterday. I had to cancel the workshop and lost several hundred dollars due to it.
Also, your customer service is well... how can I be politically correct... they suck. I don't know how else to say it. They will not work with me, they will not offer any assistance. I wait forever to get a response from them. Then I get stock answers "your order is expedited, when it ships you'll get an email"
I was on chat with Andy for 55 min without a response from him!
I know stuff happens, but to not offer any help or even reduced shipping costs, or points awarded to make this right is absurd.
You guys have a great thing here, but your CS needs improvement. I know your not an American company, but you do a lot of business in this country and we expect a level of CS that we are not getting from you. I hope you can make this right. I know there are many of us disgusted by this treatment and will become an issue.
I have made 30+ orders from HobbyKing of various sizes and contents (from small envelopes with almost nothing in them up to really big boxes with planes inside). I have 99% positive experience from all these orders. The only things I don't like is that once I got open ball bearings instead of sealed ones (in spite of getting the correct ones both before and after this order), I got the wrong batteries once (no big deal, got refunded for the price difference), and a jet plane I bought was so-and-so regarding performance (was visible in the reviews so my bad), but that's really it. I love this site, especially its system of rewarding people that make an effort to help others, it's very encouraging both to ask questions and answer them (even when the answers are not in favour of the site). The prices are also very much lower compared to anything I can find in my country (Sweden). Recommend it.
This site is absolutely terrible. I placed an order over 3 weeks ago. The credit card was charged immediately, and the status was switched to shipped within 3 days ago. Almost 3 weeks later, I can not find any information about where it is. I have tried to chat many times, but before I can even type what is wrong, the chat session ends. I sent an email 2 weeks ago, and have not got a reply. Of course there is no telephone number. I will try to get the credit card company to refund the money. Do not do business with this company their low prices do not mean anything if you cannot get what you ordered. I wish I could give it a zero star.

Sorry you have had an issue. Shipping from Hong Kong to US can take anywhere from 1 week to a month (or more) we have no control over this. If anything happens to your parcel i. E its lost or damaged we will replace or refund your items.

Terrible nightmare!
They steal your time and in case of problems your money:
Parcels returned to them from their carrier w/o delivery to the destination adress that don't have tracking simply dissappear. So you never receive anything even though you paid for the order.
English of stuff is so so and company policies are the worst regarding customer service.
Prices are good, but this company compensates by charging high shipping charges.
Out of 30 orders, there had been problems with 5 of them. Only 1 complaint was properly handled. The most ugly thing is they change a support team member and you will have to start from zero. Real time stealing. I guess that's tactic. Who is going to run after 5-20 USD if the chances are like that, that you are going to spend one or two more hours and maybe have to start all over again.

They suck - ordered a plane it came damaged waited a month for it - we then contact them only tobe told they want photos - sent them and since then no reply we now have to go thru paypal to get our money we will never ever do business with them again
I order approximately twice a week from China from various sellers. I've been doing this for years. It is the FIRST time it is THAT BAD.
First, they are lying about their stock levels. I ordered only items in stock to get fast shipping. However after I paid I found they were not shipping the items for 5 days! I asked them twice, and they then told me "item is out of stock due to factory error". Why did not they tell me this straight away?
Second, one $96 item I received did not work. It could never have worked, it stopped working immediately. Either they don't test their products, or they knowingly sell broken items.
Anyway, I asked them about what we could do... they told me that to get support I need to send them their garbage item at my cost. I proposed to send a video of the issue so that they can check if I did anything wrong... they refused! I think they know their products do not work, they are not interested in seeing what's happening because they already know.
I tried to get them find a solution... and they closed the live chat session.
I am now in the process of filling a PayPal complaint and I encourage all people who have issues with HobbyKing to file PayPal claims. It seems that money is the only thing that they are interested in. Let's show them doing business is not just taking the money of the customers, you also have to stand behind what you sell.
Ordered a set of products from them. They took my money and started claiming that they don't have the money. Customer support supposedly keeps sending messages to their accounting and accounting never replies. This has been going on for more than a week. Daily chats with customer support end up with nothing.

Great prices, great service. Once package was prepared for shipment, they were a bit slow processing it for actual courier pickup, but said it was due to temporary overload. Still, for the price, i recommend.
Had a good experience with HK... way better than I had with Banana Hobby! Easy to track the product and... affordable!

Answer: It all depends on the Bank that you. Plus check on why it took the refund. In fact, the refund is quick from an average of 3-4 days. Actually just given extra time for both the seller and the Bank. And accordingly, if the seller has constant operations on a refund, this has a negative impact on the company's rating for the Bank. Especially if there are disputes between buyer and seller. From my experience, the returns are realized in several ways: 1. On credit card 2. On account on the HobbyKing website. 3. Or product if not reached or was spoiled. Damaged goods was a couple of times, and some of the delivery services. Overall, the problems with the refund arose. Sorry for bad English.

Answer: In all honesty, I think it only means they got your money. That's all they seem to care about. I've been going round and round with them saying my order is complete when in fact they still owe me about 70% of the total order. They refuse to split the order and I'm tired of arguing with them. From some of the other reviews, it sounds like it's their method to start the clock early on the return policy. Regardless of whether you have actually received the item or not, the return policy starts when they say the order is complete.

Answer: Hi Peter. Unfortunately I don't have the FlyBaby any more to check the battery bay I can however tell you I used ZIPPY Flightmax 3000mAh 4S1P 20C@ 139x46x25mm. A larger battery will fit but IMHO you will probably be better off with a 2200 to keep it as light as possible. Al
