Flagship H&M Sydney store and purchased some homeware. Offered deal for 30% off if spend over $100. Found that single bed duvet was too small when I got home and wanted to exchange for another larger cover of exact same price. Was told that the system could not do that as it needed to be same code. Zero for customer satisfaction! Strangely other stores like Myer / DJs don't have any such constraints.
If you are thinking on going to shop at H&M at Hialeah by the West land Mall don't go They are a RIP OFF! There REFUND P: ICY sucks.! I spend $52.00 on men under wears for my son and when got home he didn't like them. So I went back the next day. I told the girl at the register that I needed to return the under wears back because my son didn't like them. I also told her that I had lost my receipt. But had my bank statment that showed what I had spend. The packs were not even opened and she told me That I needed to wait for the manager. The Manager came and she was so rude not polite at all. "She said that they had a no refund policy for under wears due to hygienic. So what you are telling me is that is ok, for me to try on any clothing in the store that is doesn't matter about the hygienic. Please give me a break. You guys are just a RIP OFF STORE. The packs were not even open but it is ok to stay with my money. You people suck big time. NEVER WILL I SHOP THERE AGAIN!
My son was looking for a pair of shoes for Homecoming. He found a pair he liked on your website, and then tried calling this store. No one bothered to answer the phone, so we went to visit the store. We found shoes kind of randomly around the store, nothing close to what was on the website. We tried to find someone to help us, but there was only one salesperson in the store (according to the salesperson) she was at the register, with 4 people waiting to check out. This is horrible customer service, no one available to take care of customers. I will not be back.
I placed an order for my toddler on 9/5/16 and received the items on 9/11/16. I returned the package on 9/13/16 but called the same day I received it to see if I can go to the store and exchange for a bigger size. I was told the store couldn't give me the sale price cause they run different online. I said fine; can you please look up if the store has the same 4 items? The representative said no, she could only look for three. I said alright them, I'll filled out the exchange form and request the different sizes. Well on 9/25 I receive an email stating my return was received and will credit my card which was not what I wanted. I then called again and spoke to Cynthia which tried to help but I was given wrong information. She told me to call back on Monday 9/26 to check if my order was processed. At this time 2 items out of 4 were out of stock
Black lady working the cash register was SO rude. She was very disrespectful to multiple customers, and I could not deal with her when it came to my turn in line, so I let the people behind me go ahead of me while I waited for the other cashier. And the entire time while I was checking out my items, she was talking BS and running her mouth to the other customers I let go in front of me. If it hadn't been for my patience, I would have gotten her fired. Such a horrible experience, and never want to shop there again after that because considering how much money I spent, that should not have happened, nor in general. As a human being, HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR OTHERS.

I've never shopped online from them, however I'm one of their most loyal costumers "in store". I love H&M because they keep track of the latest trends - while still selling classics and basic clothing - and their prices are cheap. I like the design too. Quality is generally good, although sometimes prices don't really "match" the item (you can find a 100% cotton top for 5 while a 100% polyester may cost 20), and this is the only thing I feel like I wanna warn potential costumers about. You could spend way too much money on a pretty but low-quality dress, while not noticing a great skirt with amazing fabric at a very cheap price. This being said they remain my favourite "low-cost" brand to date.
I found one pants on the website and they have shipped me wrong size, but after I washed them they feet ok.

Abserloutely awful! I Ordered three pairs of jeans, one size 24 in waist and 30 in leg, and two others 25 in waist and 30 in leg. According to the size guide, I should fit a 24/30 in excess. However when they arrived I tried them on and couldn't even half get into the 24/30, ridiculously small, looked like kidswear. The two 25/30 jeans I got (I already have some jeans 25/30 that are quite big on me) also did not fit and were waaay too small. No continuity between size in this store, all seem to mean something different for each item. Make online shopping very hard. As someone with a 23.5 inch waist, H and M seems to think I need to wear a 26 inch jean (which I havent yet had time to try so may also be small).
Along with that delivery awful. Waiting for my delivery this morning, I sat near the door reading (so as not to miss the doorbell). Nothing. Until an amazon delivery arrived, and I saw my H and M package strewn on the floor in front of my house. There way no knock or wring of the bell (and our bell is very loud). Very dissapointing! If I was out/ not had the amazon delivery it could have easily been stolen! >:(

As a website, I found it pretty frustrating. They had a category for my region (Australia) but then stated that "online shopping is not currently offered" for my region and that I should "visit my nearest H and M store". The nearest one appears to be in Melbourne. (I'm in Adelaide, so that is a 8 hour drive or a 45 minute flight.) On top of that, it says that "some products, colours and sizes" may not be available." So, I found a dark blue shirt in a colour I have been looking for, which looks comfortable and is a very reasonable price, but to buy it I need to wait for my next interstate trip, at which time, they may not have anything resembling the same size or colour. If the aim of the website is to a) sell things or b) communicate useful information, then this website does neither for anyone living in this city. Which is a pity. My two stars are for the website and its practical functionality in regard to a customer actually being able to buy something, not for other aspects of the company, which ironically I am not in a position to judge.
Went in to the store in Nice to buy a shirt, pretty Strait forward I thought. There's the shirt, there's the price you pay. Boy was I wrong. As I got to the counter I saw the price was nearly double what was advertised. I payed for the item at that price after a short debate with the woman on the checkout. I then proceeded back up the three flights of stairs to photograph the incorrect label as I thought this would make it Strait forward for her and I would get my money back. Nope. She then asked me if I would like a refund. At this stage I thought yea bugger it. I don't want to do business with a place like this. To which they replied they would only refund onto card. Even after I paid with CASH! As I didn't have a card on me at the time I was left with no option but to take the overpriced shirt. Very disappointed

I see so many people complaining here. Your bad experience is an INDIVIDUAL experience. H&M's Customer Service center provides OVERALL great service. I've been shopping with them for years & have had minimal issues. I'm sire some of you are upset because they didn't bend their company policies. And why should they?! They're policies for a reason! Anyhow, I'll continue shopping with H&M! They also have great deals & amazing quality for the price. Check them out!
Many people do not know the history of H&M! I can appreciate D. Versace designers creating H&M with with middle class budgets in mind!
I got a gift card to h&m for Christmas and was looking forward to buying some clothes. The closet store to me is about 2 1/2 hours away. It's just annoying that they don't accept their own gift cards online!
I visited the h&m store in stratford westfeild recently, i went in for a refund for an item i bought from the sale rack which had a label with £15 on it. I was in a rush the time I originally bought it so I didn't realise i was charged £25 for a different item instead of 15 for the item i actual bought. However when i went im for a refund they said the item codes do not match so they won't be able to give me a refund and because the sale item is £15 i won't be able to exchange it for the price i actually paid for the item which was £25! What the bloody hell, it was their fault in the first place for charging me for the wrong thing and now they wont give me my money back or let me exchange it for the same price! That's my money just handed to them for nothing literally $#*!ing took my money for free like whattttt. Crappy customer service they could'nt even offer a gift voucher or any solution when it was their bloody fault in the first place!
They get African Anerican women WE EXIST and I love to shop and like my clothes a little more high end
