Ordered a jacket for my husband late October that was too small. Due to hustle and bustle of the holidays and school, I just got around to exchanging it last weekend. Went to one mall that did not have the correct size so we went to get store credit and order it online (which had his size). Because we were past the 30 day return policy, we could only do in store exchanges. They don't give store credit. We could not order the correct size online with store credit. WHAT. I'm literally saying I will still give you my money, I would just like the correct size that is not currently in your store.
I researched where I could find the correct size at another local store. I called to put it on hold (that was a nightmare in and of itself). Like other reviewers have said, it's a huge center that takes care of your call. They say that have it all set up for me (after a few calls from me) and they go to transfer my call to the store. After 5 minutes of waiting, my call gets dropped (total of 30 minutes on the phone working on this so far). I call back, explain, they transfer me to the store. They get my information, confirm everything and continue to ask which mall I'm calling from...? Eventually I clearly communicated I'm just a normal customer, not another mall.
I go to exchange and pick up the jacket today, and it's not even the correct size. The store did NOT have any jacket my desired size because apparently they don't even carry jackets that large (which online using the 'find in-store' said they did have them).
Terrible policy, I just want a correctly sized jacket, and at this point I would prefer to not even support H&M financially.
The worst customer service in history is the Greek H&M department. Recently, I placed an order and I was twice charged. The phone is broken. Contacted via mail and the first agent was so "kind" that replied in Greek for my English letter (I guess it needs to do with her xenophobia...) and directed me to my bank. I called my bank. Twice they confirmed that the amount for the order was twice taken by H&M. Till today Greek H&M and its enormous unprofessional, unsupportive agents keep directing back to my bank for a money which was taken by H&M system. Just never ever order from H&M.
This has to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Whatever they tell you for shipping are false and after waiting a month to get my products they are wrong. Ship the whole works back only to find out that they have 30 days after they get it back to refund me, after there own notice says 3-5 days.
Don't waste your time with these guys, honesty is not one of there policies
H&M stated the product would be delivered within 5~7 days, wait for 15 days and called the customer service. Person told me that product is in transit and cannot do anything. They can claim product lost in transit after 30 days and do a full refund without the product. While I want the product and not interested in refund. They do not stand behind their delivery commitment and if product is lost, all they would do is say sorry and do a full refund. If that is the case, why would anyone place online order?
It had been over a year since I shopped here and not really sure why I stopped shopping there but I recently decided to purchase a double-pocket felted shirt jacket. It surpassed my expectations. It fits true to size and excellent quality.
Shipping was pretty fast, about 7 business days, which is always great.

DO NOT order from this company. We placed an order on November 27th, Black Friday for my daughter. The order was not accepted by USPS until December 15th. Now here it is Christmas Eve and we still have not received the order and my daughter will not have any Xmas gifts to open. Thanks for the great Christmas H&M! 18 days until you can get my order to USPS, order placed 28 days before Christmas on the busiest shopping day of the year and you still cannot ensure delivery by Xmas Eve? Completely unacceptable. Was I supposed to place my order on the 4th of July or Labor Day to make sure my daughter had gifts to open on Christmas?
I order 11/28 2020. I don't receive yet. It want to gift it to my friend on her birthday. I fell very embrassed in front of her. Because the order is not deliver. Its 15 days late.
I order a red sweater for the winter time and it arrived over a month of ordering it and they charged me twiced $50 each time and when I email them about it they didnt reply I gave up after two weeks
Also be AWARE when they say theyll return your money during the summer I couldn't pick up my order so they say after 5 days theyll return the money they never did

Dont ever shop at hm online in canada you will get the worst service, the 1st time i ordered my stuff it came a month later, at the same time i bought things online from uniqlo and mountain warehouse and i received my items from both of them in 5 days, the 2nd time i ordered from hm canada they sent me the wrong size of the item and it took more than 2 weeks to arrive, when i wanted to return the item for the right size that size was sold out, they did not offer any sort of compensation and just said to return the item.
I remember the unbelievable experience I had in a H&M store in Vancouver ( the one on Granville st.).
Went to buy a couple of t-shirts and the girl checking the dressing rooms complained about I took too much time and. She almost took away the merchandise from my hands.
I thought she was having a tough time so I did not pay much attention to her rudeness since I did not have time to waste.
When I went to cash to pay my stuff, I asked to talk to a manager to report such behavior: the woman in front of me ( a black small lady with " pineapple/coconut " written on her name tag said that they all were managers and that I could have told her about my complaint. Not only she did not listen to what I was saying but she threatened me to kick me out of the store calling the security and she did not allowed me to purchase anything in the store. I said to myself "She must be out of her mind" and I turned around and left. I tried to talk to someone on top of her without result. The security guy ( a VERY RUDE CHINESE GUY) yelled at me to leave ten store.
In my opinion these kind of people are totally inadequate to work in a customer service environment.

I put in an order 18 days before Christmas and they are telling me it will arrive after Christmas! Of course using Covid19 as an excuse! Funny how, Amazon, Macy's, Khols, Costco and Ulta all have been able to get packages out in time. I will never order from H&M again. Now I have to go out and replace the items so my son has them for Christmas

The fact it takes 2 weeks to get an IN STOCK ITEM PROCESSED is ridiculous and that it's not even being shipped yet is even more ridiculous.
I made an order on black friday and half of it came two months later. The other half was supposedly canceled for being out of stock but I was still charged the full amount. I had to wait two months for a package that didn't come. I bought from 8 other stores on black friday and every single package came within a week so the excuse of the "corona pandemic" is just a pathetic attempt to cover up the fact that H&M's online shipping system is complete garbage.
I went to the store to exchange some clothes that were to big for my daughter that I bought online and first the sizes are weird 4-6 or 8-10 on most of their girl clothes so my daughter was in between sizes. Second, they wouldn't give me the discount on the clothes I exchanged that I had gotten online, and third they had a sign that said $3.99 about the items and when I went to the register they said it is starting at $3.99 very miss leading. I won't shop there again.
