The website is fully accessible to screen readers and has wonderful descriptions of the products. Products are high quality and safe to use when sharing with my friends who have nut allergies. Shipping through UPS was disappointing; they left the package in the walkway outside my door and I fell on it taking the dog outside. When made aware of the situation, they pushed the culpability back on me for not guessing the carrier would do such a thing expecting me to put up notes on all the doors to my home announcing to everyone that I am blind and putting myself at risk of being targeted by low-lifes who would then know I am vulnerable.

Always great quality of herbs and roots. I purchase these for my small business and im never disappoint in the amount or quality of products purchased. They are also very competitive and very fairly priced for the quantity you recieve. I only have 1 thing that I wish we could change, and thats the amount you need to purchase $250 worth of products for free shipping. In my opinion thats kinda high for small business who dont always need that high of an amount when making an order. Other than that, I highly recommend any product you need that they have to take the chance. You won't be disappointed!

Always order from Monterey Bay. Sometimes they are out of herbs and I have to search for them.
It has been such a pleasure to purchase from Monterey Bay Herb Co. Over the past several years. Everything from spices, to herbs, to teas, and accessories have found a home with me, and the delight they have brought from the quality of the products has been lovely. Each year I purchase the Bay leaves and they always arrived whole and in good condition. Unfortunately, this time, each of the two bags contained about 1/4 of the product crushed or in nearly powdered condition. Very sad.
As a customer for many years now, the products are always exceptional.
Needed help, got excellent help, went back and bought what I needed.
I ordered tea which I thought was a product of the Metropolitan tea company. At the same time I ordered the tea from a company in Canada. Not the same. I've been drinking Metropolitan tea for years. What came from this company... if it's originally from Metropolitan at all... has been repackaged and mishandled. It's not drinkable, I threw it away.
I received bitter burdock root. Had ti throw away 7 other herbs that I mixed with the burdock root. Customer service told me since I didn't take pictures, nothing can be done. Now, I know. I still will order for Monterey Spice, because I have always been satisfied in the past.
Had trouble placing the order on line, however, the person answering the phone was terrific, very patient and stayed with us till the end.
