I recently purchased monterey bay herb co Raspberry Tea and St johns bush, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Upon tasting the tea, I found it to be extremely bitter, which was quite surprising given my previous experiences with raspberry-flavored teas. The bitterness was so strong that it made the tea undrinkable, and this sentiment was echoed by everyone I shared it with.
In addition to the taste, I was concerned about the quality of the tea itself. It appeared to be compromised, possibly due to mold or mildew. This was particularly disappointing given the quantity I ordered, as I expected a much higher standard. St John's was okay not with the flowers I guess as it was just sticks I got!
Despite trying to overlook these issues, the tea's quality simply did not improve. I also attached images and videos taken the day the tea was delivered to their support email, which further highlight the concerns about its condition.
Overall, I am very disappointed with this purchase and hope that monterey bay herbs co takes steps to ensure better quality control in the future. Organic should be organic with no issues, that's why we pay the extra for organic teas!
