Thorough and prompt response to e-mail questions prior to purchase.

The three items I purchased are basic house and garden items that used to be available in local hardware stores. Despite searching everywhere, I couldn't find versions that met my specifications. Glad to be able to search on-line through the robust inventory at hardwareworld.com to find what I needed. The only down-side in this situation is the high cost of shipping, which I understand is necessary to guarantee secure delivery. Driving around from store to store is inconvenient and costs time and money too, so that needs to be factored in to justify the shipping costs. Overall, a very good first purchase.

This is a review after delivery. I had an issue with a problem of 1 of my items. To my amazement it only took 4 emails (them answering me twice & me responding) I had a replacement item within a week from receiving my 1st delivery. The staff were right on top of helping me get my issue resolved. Which just made my decision to shop with them the right decision! I truly could not be more pleased with my experience. I just wish I would have found them when I was doing a 4yr remodel to my home. You just can't beat the prices, 2day delivery & great customer service all rolled into one store!
