These are the cheapest made shoes I've ever seen! I bought them mid January & its now beginning of April & the sole is detected on the bottom of one shoe. There is a hole on top of shoe already in other shoe! They help NONE whatsoever with my back pain! I have owned $30 shoes better than these! Dont waste your money! I wouldn't give one star for rating on these shoes but it makes you click one at least!
About the exact right size 9 feet keep sliding to the front of shoe causing my toes to crunch and hurt my right feet right side of my foot went numb she'll help me walk better she'll help me with all the pain from flat feet and pttd but the sliding to the front of the shoe and making my side of my feet go numb can't wear them
II can't wear them
At first, I loved these shoes! They come with extra insoles to tailor the fit better to your foot. They are very comfortable and relieved my pain on walks. However, after 6 months of minimal wear (I walk 1-2 miles a day 3 times per week) the inside of both shoes are tearing apart. I attempted to reach out to the manufacturer regarding this issue & they pointed me back to Amazon as the seller/vendor. Amazon said the return window had closed after 30 days of purchase. Too bad as I would have continued to purchase these shoes for years to come. Way too expensive to be falling apart at 6 months with minimal walking. Would not purchase again due to poor manufacturer customer support.
In less than 5 months my "Mighty Walk Athletic Shoes" are worn out. I am not overweight, walk an average of 50 miles/month and one side of the heel on each shoe is just gone. Customer service offered a 30% discount on the next pair. My Asics and Nikes lasted longer.
I think the design concept for this shoe works best on a very flat surface. Walking on a "crowned" asphalt street seems like swimming uphill.
I bought my first pair of Gdefys a couple years ago and wow, they instantly made my feet feel better. The 9-1/2 xw was roomy and felt like I was walking on air. I wore them daily and they lasted a long time. I told my wife how great they were and we both bought a pair when mine wore out. They were great too. Now in mid-2020 we bought replacement shoes and they are crap! I went to a 10Xw and they are tight both in length and width. The back keeps breaking down and following my foot down into the shoe. They are nowhere near the quality and comfort of our previous Gdefys. We are going to take a drive down to their Huntington Beach store and see what's up or at least show them these current shoes. I hope they haven't cheapened their manufacturing because the first couple pairs were magic in their comfort.
I love the way these shoes wear! However the soles of these shoes are way too slippery on any kind of wet floors. I am a 65 year old female. I was walking down my backyard ramp which was wet from rain. My feet shot out from under me and i busted my but! These shoes are too expen sive not to have a skid proof sole!
Felt good for a few weeks but after that being on my feet for more then 5 hours the pain starts coming back and I change in to another pair of shoes would never buy again. Helps a little and very high priced
Bought a pair of shoes for plantar fasciitis and tried them for a week. OK for the pain but bad for my neuropathy so I sent them back for refund which was denied for them not being "like new". How can you know if the shoes will work if you don't wear them and I did not get them dirty. Total rip off; be warned.
This company lies through they're teeth. I ordered shoes and orthotic. The shoes hurt like hell and they sent me the wrong orthotics. Had to send them back and the correct ones were going to be EXPEDITED to me. Sent them back and still waiting for the correct ones. Was supposedly sent out on 9/1. USPS tracking shows not to be delivered until 9/14. Three business days was promised. Then there's the shoes. I was promised EXPEDITED service on those as well. I sent them out on 9/5 for an exchange. Still not shipped! They promise but never come through. Hope they show up here before I have to go out of town. To put it lightly, I'm pissed.
The one thing people don't understand is that if your feet do not have the correct arch support for a long time your body and the muscle have a memory. Their for if you don't know what type of arch support you need and you start to use a shoe that gives you that support for about 3 weeks your body will want to pull the muscles back into the position it is familiar with. Causing that pain the best solution is to go into a shoe store like The Walking Company that has professional staff members to identify the type of arch support you need. Don't by it on line.
Bought a pair of shoes for my husband and they began falling apart within a year. I would not waste my money on their shoes. Too much to pay for them, when they do not last over a year. To pay this amount for a paid of shoes and they begin falling apart within a year speaks of the quality of the product. We were very disappointed with the company when we contacted them to report the problem. The asked for pictures which I sent along to them, but they said they never received them within the allotted time. Never expected them to do anything after sending the pictures. Their response was seemingly "Too bad: The warranty has expired." Never ever would I buy from this company again!
I bought these shoes because of what the ad stated, I even spoke to them on the phone with them telling me there the best shoe I told them I work at Lowes and on my feet for 8 hours they said yes they will be great for me, I received the right size and width I wore them and they killed my feet I spent 155.00 on them tried wearing them a few times but each time I had to run home foe my old Nike's which feel great for all day standing, I am pass the 30 day return so Im stuck with these awful shoes, I do NOT recommend them at all. Back to a shoe store for nikes and wasted 155.00.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING! I wear these for 12 hours a day! NEVER a PROBLEM! I can keep up with the group! The issues I had BEFORE wearing them? You could just FORGET IT! I SWEAR by these being the BEST!
Got another pair of Gravity Defyer's and they are the most comfortable shoe I've had in a long time. Got two different insoles with them and both feel like I'm walking on air. Am suggesting that my husband buy a pair.
I have severe damage and limited movement in both ankles due to a motorcycle accident. I had to return one pair and the process was quick and easy. I have three different style of athletic shoes and two pairs of sandals. I wear the sandals around the house instead of slippers and they save me a lot of pain. The shoes allow me to work and play more than we ever thought possible. I would recommend them for anyone with arthritis and limited motion like I have. I also use the Gravity Defyer orthopedic inserts which I prefer to the pair I bought from my foot doctor.
Bought the Mighty Walker for $155. Wore 3 times, walking and standing. Ordered recommended size 7.5W which is what I've always worn in New Balance with no problems. The Gdefyer sneakers felt wonderful on first day; after 3 wearings turned out to be too short, too narrow and tight. The toe box is definitely not wide or deep. Due to the majority of reviews I will donate them rather than return since I'm sure the company would deny they are in 'like new condition' even though they are. I sent an e-mail to company and received response telling me I would receive a response in 24-48 hours; that was a week and a half ago. I will return to my favorite site... Zappos. They are free shipping both ways and 365 day returns... yes! 365 days.
I am very happy with my purchase of my gdefy shoes. They are very supportive and bouncey. They come with corrective insoles and comfort insoles. Also better fit insoles in case you want a tighter fit considering how roomy the shoes are. My feet swell so its just perfect. I am currently using the corrective insoles and I do not get as tired and sore when I walk. I am surprised at the many negative reviews. The service was wonderful. I ended up ordering the xlr8 running shoes a couple days later. The delivery was fast. They now use artificial springs not the metal ones anymore. They since made upgrades. This shoe is not heavy and I can just slip them on. Give your body a chance to adjust to them considering they are also corrective. Don't assume after 1 or more days that they are causing permanent pain. Your body has to adjust to any change. Thanks gdefy!
Just received their UpBov 2.1 Therapeutic Sandals. You could say the only "therapy" they provide is the effort to keep them on. These are really slip-ons, as they lack a heelstrap to secure them. Walking & descending stairs feels perilous, as the "sandals" can slip off at any time. Tried tightening the 2 top straps, which was difficult (on one of them, the little metal tongue popped off & couldn't be replaced). So, basically, unusable. Buyer beware!
I have purchases multiple pairs of shoes and been more than happy. I have foot issues (flat, wide, planter f, etc) and for years tried all kinds of inserts (including special made ones from the foot doctor) with no relief from the pain. I could hardly walk a block without my feet, ankles, knees giving me issues. Once I purchased these shoes all of these problems cleared up. I was amazed! They are worth every penny! I have never had an issue with quality or shipping and just ordered sandals from them for the summer. After reading all of the negative reviews I guess you could say it is different for everyone. I, for one, am very happy and so are my feet, ankles, knees, etc
Ordered a pair of $165 walking shoes for my wife who had painful foot issues; could have bought a different brand same day in the mall but liked the idea of the 2-day shipping so took a chance, chose 2-day, was walked through the purchase process then basically dumped out with purchase confirmation for 5-7 day shipping. Apparently, the $20 2-day shipping simply fell off the order and was completely forgotten. Now, my poor wife gets to wait an additional 5 days in pain because the website couldn't negotiate 2-day add-on shipping and never mentioned that fact during purchase. Poor experience. Buy from Amazon.
Answer: Send them back using their label or a FedEx or Ups label. But keep proof and request the delivery company to send you proof they received it. I still have not received acknowledgement, a refund, or responses to 2 emails to customer service.
Answer: Good question. It's more like no customer service. Completely nonresponsive to return and request for refund.
