I'm only rating it 5 starts so it might get seen considering that when Grammarly sends you an email to rate their website it shows stars to click on to rate Grammarly the lower stars send you to a how can we improve quiz, pretty cool, but the higher stars send you here, essentially it filters people to only give good reviews. Also, the threat of false reviews at the bottom of this website being illegal is so fake. It references a page of the law it's talking about that's gone.
It's shady and deceitful and... Ironically enough Grammarly is the only reason this paragraph has proper grammar.

It's good. However, at times it tends to overcorrect using unnecessary hyphens between verbs and prepositions when it's understood, along with too many commas unneeded. The 'free service' may be a little bit robotic compared to the days when I learnt grammar at school and wrote essays or compositions in primary school back in the 1950s and 60s. I am a writer in English and Spanish. I hope you see my comments as constructive. Thank you from Stephen

I'm a second time around college student. I haven't took an English course since 2006. I had three essays for my English Composition course which included an argumentative essay, a compare and contrast essay, and a persuasive essay. I also had to write two in MLA and one in APA. I had no clue where to start. I love the fact that Grammarly edited my essays in the right tone and format. Not only did it correct my errors, but gave me different word choices and ways to rewrite my sentences. I don't know what I would have done with this amazing website. I ended up getting two 100s and one 85. I passed the class with an A. I was so stressed out about my essays but everything turned out better than I expected. I will definitely use Grammarly again in the future.

I got this to help me write better for schoo. Sure it helped me with spelling, but google docs would do that normally. I could barely do anything and was always spam emailed constantly being asked to sign up and spend tonnes of money. I am a student. I do not have hundreds of dollars to spend each year.

The support team were nice overall, but my general opinion has stayed unchanged. I unfortunately cannot pay the amount that is required, and I hope that Grammarly upgrades their free services soon, or release a cheaper student version.

I have been using Grammarly for almost a year. I found d this website very helpful and accurate until it shows the wrong suggestions recently. For example, the article is like that, "... the high authority..." Grammarly suggests removing the article "the" and when I do, it says to put article. I thought maybe the was not the correct article in that particular sentence. So, I put "a" instead of "the". But it says to remove the article. When I removed it thinking that maybe this sentence does not require the usage of the article. But again, it says to add an article. So, what is this $#*!ing $#*!? I am really frustrated with this Grammarly because it happens frequently now. Moreover, it doesn't give us the sign when there is a spelling error. These kinds of issues must be addressed as soon as possible and if not, Grammarly is the worst website to use for any writing and especially, academic writing.
