It was simple to complete, but more expensive than I thought it would be
I wish I knew the Woman that helped me. She was very friendly and helped me a lot. I do know that I talked to her around noon on 1-11-16 and she was a teacher. I don't know more than that but she was GREAT!
I applied for my number and it took them less then 4 hours
I think this website is misleading... pretends to be government entity!
I realize you covered this by signing a disclaimer saying 3rd party but it is still quite misleading.

This site made it very easy to obtain a federal tax ID number.
I called the 800 number, the representative was pleasant and very helpful. I received my paperwork by email, I signed and sent it back in and the next day I had my number.
