The New Candle
January 15, 2020

How totally disgusting to present a candle referring to your vagina! Who the hell do you think you are, Gwynnie? And why in the hell do you believe that you have the answers to all of life's trials and tribulations? Just STOP trying to prove to the public that you are relevant. You're a total narcissist with nothing but money and crass crap to peddle!
Should have stuck to acting. At best you were decent at that. All women should be offended at this horrific, money grabbing website!

Scam
January 13, 2020

Total and utter scam, none of it works. I got some of the crystals for my wife and they are identical to the rocks I get for my fish tank. Stay away, or just pick up a rock from a gravel driveway nearby.

Goop Clothing
January 13, 2020

While browsing the Goop site I decided to take a look at some of her clothing. All I can say is... boooorrring. The site offered a SACK dress with shoulder straps for a whopping $276. Are you KIDDING me? WHO would pay that kind of money for some shift that could easily be sewn in less than an hour for pennies on the dollar! Just INSANE pricing on mundane clothing choices. Evidently Gwenneth believes she can sell this kind of crap for big bucks because she's rich and famous. Anyone who falls for it is just plain stupid. Take the money you would have spent on those boring, wayyy overpriced clothes and give it to someone who needs it.

Something doesn't add up when I see pictures of Goop Offices with 250 people in Santa Monica. How can their customer service be as lacking as it is? I returned 2 bathing suits, Heard nothing from Goop, tried to contact them, no body ever answers the phone. And much of the time it seemed to be out of service. I thought I was dealing with a rip-off brand. I tried calling for weeks. Could never get through. No body answered my emails after the first one that said we are a small team, but we'll get back to you. Eventually I got through and was issued a credit, but everything was rushed and uncivilized, the person on the line was "so busy with the sale" that she just issued the over $500. Credit. Beware. Something is wrong with this experience. Do they stall issuing credits because they have a cash flow problem? Has Gwyneth ever called her customer service line? Does she know about this. I rather think she must.

If you want to spend money on life style items that are not only non-scientific but also potentially harmful to you, this is the place to do it! If you're the type of person that believes that vaccines are bad for you but still rely on the health care system to help you with your ailments, this is also the store for you. Goop is for gullible people who have too much money on their hands. Do yourself a favour, instead of spending here, place your money in a low-cost ETF and shelter it in a tax favourable account. It'll help you more than (for your retirement) than spending money on this site will.

Don't call and expect to talk with a live person, and by the way if you were to get a live person you better make sure you call during "normal east coast hours". If you email, you'll get a response that gee, sorry, we're a small group and we'll get back to you in 24 - 48 hours... a very lame excuse if you're trying to be a national online distributor. I returned my third order of the High Scoot Genes vitamins because I felt no difference and upon comparison, they were no different than my $30/mo vitamins. It has been nearly 3 weeks since they received the return (according to the tracking number) and I still haven't not received a credit, nor have I been able to get an explanation.

Do not do automatic shipping. Impossible to cancel. I had to cancel my credit card to stop order. Nobody in customer service gets back to you. Must be a cheap company with no one working there and Gwyneth laughing all the way to the bank.

Over the past several weeks I have sent over 6 emails to Goop inquiring about a product submission. However, now, after reading the posts on this page, I won't bother as their customer service rates at below basement level. I also copied in my messages to other email personnel listed on their web site. They are a joke as no one responds.

Ordered on Aug 5, the website said will ship the following 2 business days in normal week. 5 days later today, no one even reply my email! I need it for my friend's birthday, now I have to buy another gift for her. Wasting my time and far behind my expectations! The worst online shopping experience ever.

1. I placed my first order with Goop online and received a website error when trying to finalize my order. 2. Contacted Goop and was told the reason was that they didn't have my billing address, so I gave it to them for them to enter and "force my order through on the backside." 3. To my reply with my billing address, Kelsey responded that the item I ordered - which was available when I placed it in my cart - was no longer available. 4. I asked why the subscription option which was available over the weekend when I placed the items in my cart was not appearing to provide the regular service and lower price. 5. Melisa responded subscriptions were no longer being offered for one of the products and that when the item was back in stock, the subscription option would once again be available. 6. I responded that the subscription option was also not available for the other item in my cart which had also been an option when I placed it in my cart. 7. Melisa then responded that they had turned off the subscription option for its Goop line. 8. Melisa, the "customer experience" representative completely disregarded that all items and options were available when I placed the items in my cart a day or so ago. 9. When I told her that for the first time I had ever placed an order with Goop and that I found the whole thing very frustrating, she replied in total "We sincerely apologize for your poor experience." I expected more from Gwyneth's modern life business. These people, especially Melisa Lerner, have no class and no sincerity. SoulCycle would never treat its customers like this.

So I read the marketing language about how the Goop eyeliner is natural-looking; I bought. It arrived and found that it applies in a big thick line, kind of a 1950s prostitute look. No return labels are included, it had to be emailed to me with a note that if I used the company supplied label, my refund is docked $10. So I paid for my own shipping back to Goop. The refund is still $10 less than I paid. The best part is the note that says, "We made you whole". Hardly. The whole thing is complete baloney.

Gwyneth Paltrow is either a moron or a fraudster trying to take the money of morons. Either way you shouldn't be buying anything nor taking advice from this site.

In a nutshell - I ordered an outfit on Goop for just under $1000. While they had no problem charging me immediately, they still had not delivered the outfit more than 45 days later, when I started seeing it in shops all over Los Angeles. I then read the fine print that said it was a pre-order and would not be available for another week or so. FINE. I emailed to cancel my order which I figured would not be a problem because it was unfulfilled, and had been for so long. The request was clear but I received an email back politely asking if I wanted to cancel the order. Um... yes, that's what I want to do because I need the outfit now and will just hop over to any shop a mile away and buy it and skip shipping fees... and have it NOW. No reply. I email again. No reply. One week later, they finally cancel order. Refund has not appeared on my card. Don't most sites wait to charge until they ship? I shop online at a lot of sites, big and small and found this site appalling. Just because Gwyneth owns it does not mean they can treat customers like crap!

This is Gweneth Paltow's blog, website, shopping network. I'm a big fan of uniquely designed websites (probably more-so than Paltrow herself). The concept of "get", "go", "see" navigation is very clever as is the domain name - G-gweneth OO-her eyes maybe? And P-paltrow. goop.com. I imagine the site is even more meaningful for big fans of the Oscar winning actress. The site is safe for all with no pop-ups or suspicious links.
