Golden Corral

Got there at 1115am on Sunday morning... paid 37$ for 2... wait staff excellent... got my plate full.of fried chicken and fish bc there was nothing out except vegetables and leftover breakfast... cut ooen chicken breast and was raw... fish was cold... breakfast food cold... got a chicken keg, and took a bite only to have blood come out of it... no mashed potatoes until we got ready to. Leave... broccoli was hard, mac and cheese clumpy and old, sweet potato casserole bland, lettuce was watery, steak took 35 min to get a portion... very dissatisfied... alexandria, la

1. The salad bar was empty and when we asked for the items we received eye rolls and attitude. They had no tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, croutons, thousand island or ranch.
2. The food on the hot bar was ice cold! Not even room temperature. The backed fish was swimming in an inch or oil (yuck)
3. We couldn't get our plates cleared from the table or drink refills.
4. When we brought it to the manager's attention he walked off. Not once did they offer a discount or a refund.
I could go on but what's the point.

Soda about 30 minutes had gone by no waters showed up in our area. I saw what looked like two floor supervisor's. I approached them and told them we've hade no waitress in our area for the past 30 minutes. They gave no responce. So I went to the cashier and asked for a supervisor and a lady there said she was. I told her my situation, she was just as indeferent as the two I had approached on the floor. The time I had been there was not a good experience either. I've always been a generous tipper. However the last two times I left no tip.
I will not be back. I'm a Veteran and see about 500 Veterans over a year and there's always instent communications between Veterans. I won't be promoting Golden Coral.

The food was horrible my server great! Golden corral the manager was horrible! The only person that was okay was the young lady Desiree who waited on us. Outside of that the food was cold when I asked to speak to management and they finally showed up after almost an hour she stated we have been here an hour and there was nothing she could do about it then ask me if that was my daughter I feel it's because of her white skin complexion and me being dark skinned black person when I told her that all the food was cold and I hadn't eaten any of it as she could see by looking at my plate she said I talk to you when you were up there at least she did until she saw the white skin person that came up and talked to me I feel like that's a problem because of the complexion of the person that was with me when I asked if the owner was there because I was told they were she said they're not here I'm the only one here and there's nothing I can do about it I spent $40 on a meal that I couldn't even eat because it was cold and then I almost waited 45 minutes to speak with management as Desiree the attendant went around and around looking for them even asking her other co-workers when I asked Miss Owens who was the management okay what do I need to do okay I'll just contact corporate so I asked her for the number to corporate and then it snobbished tone she said it's on your receipt I even took her to the table and showed her that all the food that I put on my plate as she did talk to me and she saw was still there as I had taken a picture before and after which I will post on this review that is the most despicable meal I've eaten in the most crass service from someone who's supposed to be management thanks a lot but I'll never eat there again and wouldn't advise anybody else to because I feel like the management was very narcissistic in dealing with customer really a total arse to say the least. I feel management needs to be retrained. And as for our hostess Ms Desiree thank you for a job well done you are very professional. Thank you for your apology you done as well job. You acted more like a manager than the manager.

I get to the Golden Corral at least once or twice a month. Definitely enjoy the food and atmosphere. Yesterday day. I went with family and friends for my sons birthday and to my surprise. The food was off. The dishes were dirty. Most importantly. They forgot to sing happy birthday to my son. The waitress was very pleasant and on top of her game. I will continue to go. I feel we all have off days. More disappointed. They forgot about my sons birthday..

I WENT TO GOLDEN CORRRAL FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME THINKING I'M GOING TO ENJOY MY FOOD SO I THAN I WENT TOWARDS THE BUFFET GOT MY FOOD AFTER I FINISHED I DECIDED TO GET SOME DESSERT. I GOT SOME LEMON MERINGUE PIE ATE IT 3 MINUTES LATER I FELT SO SICK 2 MINUTES LATER I HAD TO GO TO ER BECAUSE THE PIE I ATE IT MADE ME SICK OMG I SHOULD'VE FOLLOWED MY MIND AND WENT TO OUTBACK...

The turkey was sour and the ham tasted horrible. We ordered the turkey dinner and the Ham dinner. The gravy was too salty horrible, mash potatoes we would give a 4 out of 10. We had 14 guest. The pumpkin pies were not cooked all the way through. What a terrible experience we had.

This is inhumane what they are feeding people. Please save yourself! Possibly the worst thing I've ever tasted

I would first like to say, that I do go at the golden corral in palm coast.
Next I would like to say that I've read the negative comments. I would like to say that the CUSTOMERS aren't so helpful.
There are regulars that come in from the time the store opened. Those customers got comfortable wanting n needing.
Then u have the customers who go into the bathroom with gloves n coming out with the gloves. You have the ones who disrespect the servers about their service n yet still put a smile on. I've read complaints about squeezing in small spaces. Ok so why come in and sit at a 4 or 6 top when it's just u. Customers are demanding n messy n tip servers between change as in coins or $2. They don't realize it's hard going back n forth pleasing the customers. I can honestly say CUSTOMERS R NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. Parents don't watch their kids going to the bakery bar. Kids use their hands n so do grown ups. I mean where did u get raised? Kids learn from the parents, n what u do at home u do outside.
U have customers (men) who pee at the wall as they are painting. I know the store is not up to par n I myself also said the store needs to close for work to be done. I said to myself when covid first hit, it should've closed to renovation. So don't complain about a place that some of u continue to keep going to. I know the servers don't serve u but ur drinks n collecting plates, but be nice n friendly. U never know a person who serves u might just walk into ur job n give u a hard time.

We were just trying to enjoy our dinner. And this bug crawled crossed the table. ABSOLUTELY disgusting. And we told our waitress. Very disappointed.

To make a long story short on I had not eaten all day due to being busy. I decided to stop at the Golden Coral on W 38th St in Indy. I ate dinner and all seemed good. I live about 3 miles from this location and by the time I got home I was sick. On Monday I was still sick! I went to see my doctor after an exam she wanted me to get a CT scan. I found out I had a parasite colon infection that is caused by contaminated water or food... Guess where I got it? GOLDEN CORAL!. Probably caused by an employee not doing their job of changing out trays. But! Never eating at Golden Coral again! They can do what ever they want to get me to come back it ain't happening!

If you have missed out on catching Covid, go to the Golden Corral in Albuquerque. The waitresses wear their masks below their noses, and the server at the carved ham station wears his mask on his chin as he leans over to serve the meat. In case that is not enough unnecessary exposure for you, they have a woman (a "hostess"?) who walks from table to table greeting people who are eating, without wearing any mask at all to optimize the spread from table to table.

I went to the Golden Corral on Camp Bowie over by Camp Bowie they told me they close at 8:00 I said no problem I went ahead and paid for my account I had food sitting on my flight I told them to pay for it the manager said yes then a few minutes later she come back to the big head back and told me that they decided not to let me take it home for the day already shut everything now and that's why I told him I would not be back is there something you can do to make it right which I doubt it it's ridiculous that you take all that food and do not even think of the freaking homeless does Freddy's fat like I said I won't be back now that all my friends know to have $#*!y the very rude

Scrambled eggs on buffet were completely raw, I told our server, he told the manager. They did not change out the raw eggs. They just dumped more eggs on top of the raw eggs, disgusting. Never go there again
