I was trying to watch youtube on Video.Link EVEN THO THEY BLOCKED IT EVEN THO ITS SAFE ITS SUPER ANNOYING AND I CANT EVEN And GoGuardian Keeps blocking friendly Games and car games like WHAT THE HELL ITS TOO ANNOYING AND YOU CANT EVEN HAVE FUN WITH GOGUARDIAN AND ITS A SPYWARE AND ONE OF MY FRIENDS GOT THEIR CHROME BOOK GLITCH 1 BY 1 OF GOGUARDIAN AND ITS JUST WASTING YOUR FUN AND YOU CANT PLAY GOOGLE GAMES WITH GOGUARDIAN AND IT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM ALL SCHOOLS. Anyway i need all of the info outta me so Yea REMOVE GOGUARDIAN NOW.

I believe that this specific program is basically useless. All it does is block things and expose private information, which is not good. If I could, I would choose any other better blocker, because I can't even search for videos on YouTube without a restricted message.

It gave me a virus...it showed me a picture of "you've been hacked" I got so scared it almost hacked all the school computers :(

It blocks good resources for homework,and blocks things that don't even need to be blocked in the first place,and the fact that this even exists in scary, it shows kids that privacy does not matter to adults at all. Its an evasion to privacy to students and does not protect them,yes it may help someone's kid once in a blue moon,but has too many faults to balance the rights.

I wish the creators of this awful spyware from hell get thrown in jail for spying on children. It reopens itself when you close it, it's always watching, and there is absolutely no way to get rid of it without completely powerwashing the computer.

That, enraged many other consumers, but those consumers seem to be young students who were under the eagle sightwatch of goguardian. And i,@)*&#[email protected]!*&.org, am one of them.

But really, what i thought of being monitored as a student. I felt anger and couldn't do things i wanted to do. Like playing games on the school-issued chromebook. But teachers and parents were happy about this idea, as it would be easier to keep their students on-task for learning. Learning is, and still will be, important towards a young developing human mind. This is an example. You are browsing the internet, without no rules or comments ruining your experience. You feel happy, as you were able to do whatever you want. But, as of recent, a close person you know gets access to your account. They install this tame programing called ''GOGUARDIAN". The next time you went on the internet to search something, your website was just blocked. You may have felt confused, yet angry. You try to access other sites but to no avail. Everything you just had direct access to is now gone. It is even worse if there were camera's watching you and your everyday life. After all, everyone need their own privacy moments. If either of that happened, i would feel pretty mad. But really, the most important thing that would invert and convert anyones decision would be: THEIR EXPERIENCE. If a teacher was too controlling with Goguardian and abused their abilities on their student, students would feel like their privacy is taken away. Since teachers have their job to keep students educated, they would take any action to help them out. Even if they would have to remove any distractions. They do want the students to focus so that way, they can learn important topics. Some students would write reviews to express their dislike to Goguardian. Sure, there is a decent amount of people who wrote positive reviews (i want this to be one of them). But this, i want people who read this review to understand that our reviews (both on SiteJabber and other reviewing sites) are based on the writers POV (point of view). So not everyone will get along. But we're all human. *stares intensely at computer camera*

What happened to privacy? Like sure you should block inappropriate stuff, but imagine blocking videos because they're in the category of music, movies, gaming, etc.? What? That's just stupid. Also it's very dumb for like blocked keywords, like sure that can be good bc of what children might be looking up on the internet but DAMN TF SOME HARMLESS WORDS R BLOCKED FOR?

HOW IS LISTENING TO MUSIC THAT HARMFUL AND STUFF? WHY IS IT BLOCKED BC THE CATEGORY IS MUSIC? Ain't nothing wrong with that.

I honestly don't give a crap about the websites being blocked, because if you want to play games, then search up on youtube new websites like https://sites.google.com/view/math-tutor-learning. What really pisses me off is how GoGuardian blocks more than 75% of all videos because of something stupid like BLOCKED BECAUSE OF THE KEYWORD COMPILATION OR MUSIC TIKTOK AUTO AND VEHICLES GAMING! FRICK ALL OF THE GOGUARDIAN CREATORS! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH BY BLOCKING ALL WEBSITES BUT HECK YOU GUYS DECIDE THAT YOU CAN BLOCK YOUTUBE! THIS VIOLATES THE 4TH AMENDMENT NO UNREASONABLE SEARCH OR SEIZURE! STUPID STUPID SPYWARE! THERE'S NO FREEDOM OR GOOD EXPERIENCE THROUGH THIS WEBSITE!

I get why this exists - to keep students from getting off task, but the website gives teachers the ability to block every single website. To be fair, it doesn't make sense as to why high schools even use this. It doesn't even teach high school students to be responsible and turn in their work; students should choose whether or not to do their work and learn their lesson by suffering the consequences of not turning in their work if they choose not to do it. Schools need to rethink what this website is really for - to make a teacher's job easier or to make students be on task? Likely to make a teacher's job easier. I'd give this s*** website 0 stars if I could.

Goguardian blocks things that don't even make sense. My school blocked music because it was on youtube. I can't even relax on a test. And from what I read, it can see your webcam. If you have goguardian, just use a different computer. It also videos that aren't inappropriate. In my 5th grade, I searched something sewercidal and then my mom and dad get an email to get therapy. (I was wondering what it was, I was a stupid child.) And now I can barely watch anything on youtube. Its annoying and I cant listen to certain music due to it.

It may be a banal, superficial, and cliche comparison, but I believe this technology was heralded by George Orwell himself in his work titled 1984. I'm literally like that one guy who got executed for writing a diary, except the diary is Duck Life, and the execution is an irritating passive-aggressive comment from my teacher. (I don't know, I never read the book but my point still stands). As I type this out, I have my finger hovering over the buttons required to switch tabs so that my teacher does not reprimand me before our entire class. I would almost rather a public execution than whatever sick form of humiliation this is. TL;DR GoGuardian is the bringer of misery, destroyer of privacy, and harbinger of tyranny.

With goguardian teachers can watch students, which Is an invasion of privacy, and unfair. Goguardian can see your search history, and won't let you delete it, which is another invasion, of privacy. Goguardian was made to block dangerous stuff, that could be harmfull, but it blocks literally everything. You can't even research, for a project, because goguardian, blocks every website. When your done with your work you like to watch videos, or play games, or listen to music, but you can't do any of that, with goguardian. The privacy policy video is blocked, which is suspicious. Goguardian is clearly breaking laws, and doesn't want us to know. This is unfair, because you can't have fun, when your done with your work anymore. Goguardian needs to take down there website. Watching people's computers is illegal, so everybody who works for goguardian should be arrested.

It is a breach of the law and it gives teachers too much power over their students. Plus it can track your location and look through your webcam and is still on after school hours
