I have been using ebay for many years and often lost bids in the closing stages, often when i was not near my computer. I found out about sniping and tried a few different options, and settled on GIXEN as the most reliable. I love that i can enter automatic bids that will bid when I cannot, that I can group items enabling me to only win one of many, and that i can cancel bids if i later change my mind. Gixen has rarely let me down ( usually only when ebay change the rules and Mario has to tweek Gixen to accommodate the ebay changes). I typically place dozens of ebay bids per week and Gixen is the only way to go. It does not load any software on my computer or mobile, it is all done via their website, my ebay credentials are secure and i have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it.

I've been using Gixen for years, literally thousands of bids placed and never an issue. Mario is always at hand to offer advice. I subscribe to the mirror service, even though the standard system works fine. The latest interface with Ebay makes entering snipes even easier than before.
Shortly after regestering as an Ebay customer I realised that I was losing bragains as other, more savvy, bidders were waiting until the last few moments before making a winning bid. Thus I too made an initial basic bid and watched the clock count down. I then placed a bid with about 30 seconds to go but still found that other undeclared bidders were bidding in the final seconds!
Soon the concept of Sniping became clear and I discovered GIXEN. Joy of Joys I could now leave all the bidding to Gixen, could set up a hierarchy of bids with Gixen ceasing to watch after a successful bid and all of this for a measley $6 per year.
No need to declare myself as a "Watcher", let alone a bidder, although importing a "watch list" is simplicity itself.
GIXEN is a terrific service, works 100% of the time and offers amazing value for money.

Great and easy way to secure last second bids even in the middle of the night in other time zones! Also if you are just too lazy to be there in the last few seconds of bidding. Your top bid is not visible until then so the competition cannot be aware.
Since I use gixen with a very cheap: 2 year subscription 11 $, I won all bids I wanted. And IT MAKES ME SAVE AT LEAST 1500 $!

My husband found me Gixen, and I use it to buy (I mean snipe). I am very content. Just one thing: I see it too late when Gixen gives a warning somebody did bid more than I. I would like Gixen to tell me 2 days before ending of the bidding of the item. Except for that, Gixen is great for snipe-bidding! I could save a lot of money!

I have been an eBay user for well over 10 years: started back in the day when it was almost all auctions, not as many fixed prices and identical items as you get now. I collect ceramics & glass, mostly European, and found auctions in US, UK or Europe finished at very late hours for me, I live in Australia.
When I tried Gixen, I liked it straight away. I used the free version for a couple of years, then decide to purchase Mirror even though I had never had an issue with the free service, but I like to encourage good service and am happy to pay a reasonable sum for what I get.
I use it less now that eBay has fewer auctions, but I am sure I am still getting a benefit for my subscription.
Great sniping tool. You place your maximum bid and gixen will make bid instead of you. You can forget about auction time and can be busy with something else. Recommended service for ebay buyers
Recommended: have been a user for many years, the owner/operator does well in managing this service: bugs get fixed promptly (very few), quick to fix changes on ebay, quick to fix any down times (rare, and solved by his offer of a mirror service). Cost to join the mirror service is worth doing!
I have been using Gixen for several years now and am very pleased with their service. I use them to snipe pretty much everything I buy on eBay unless it is a BIN and then no need to snipe. The link to enter a snipe shows up on each item making the process quick and easy. I highly recommend them.
I've used this service many times, and it has yet to let me down. EBay is a good place to get easy and insanely cheap deals if you have a bit of patience and a good sniper, and Gixen has literally saved me hundreds of dollars (I'm not exaggerating, either). The UI isn't great and can be off putting, but it functions very well.
Been using Gixen for 10 years now as a paid subscriber and couldn't be more happy with them. And they also offer a free service which you can try out. So it makes me question any 1 star review as I don't know anyone who's had an issue with them. I use Gixen with complete confidence every time. They are very easy to use, options feel robust and consistently straight forward, and have always been exceptionally reliable. I've recommended them to others and continue to highly recommend them to anyone looking to use a excellent snipping service.
