As a musician, I gain many clients through GigSalad. It is a well-run company, and seems to be respected by clients and vendors as well. I've renewed my membership year after year, and will continue to do so. Highly recommended!
We've booked several jobs through GigSalad, I can confidently say that we trust them for the payments. I'm even able to assure potential clients that they area good company to work with! I notice that they are often tweeking operations a bit to make the site easier to use. It's very helpful!
Gig Salad has meant the difference between Santa having a busy calendar (two months) and having a packed calendar (more than I could handle). I have been with gig salad for more than five years and have watched my client base grow and grow. The Santa experience basically has a life span od only two months (November and December) however the requests that come in spread themselves over the entire year. I have seen a definite shift in when the requests are received. When I started with Gig Salad (and also with me being a Texas Santa) I got maybe 100 requests for my services and finalized about ten. As each year passes I get more and more repeat clients who also happen to get first pick at my calendar. Gradually that has increased. Last year, I had 59 firm engagements in November and December but I also had answered more than 1000 email requests for both 2018 and 2017. It is now the end of August and today, I have 25 firm engagements. Granted, at this point many of my engagements come from local talent agencies and word of mouth customers however gig salad always provides me with the hard to find engagements that each year fill the holes in my schedule. They make the difference between a good season and a great one. They also are constantly trying to improve what they offer. Last year they added a way to answer requests with responses that you can pre-can, saving you time in responding. This year they now can recognize requests that you receive that conflict with times you have already determined are already committed, another time-saver.
I would highly recommend the folks at Gig Salad... 5 stars
I've been with GIG SALAD for years now. I can honestly say that the company is the best agency to work with and there are NEVER issue with payments.
Gig Salad is my favorite booking site. It is easy for both vendors and clients to use, utilizes on-line contracts (I insert my own clauses and conditions), and overall has a modern, friendly feel to it. I've been booked about twice per month so far, better than I expected. I prefer them over The Bash. Way to go, guys...

We are a working, traveling band and we love having an online booking agent! The Gigsalad team members are nice and easy to work with. Gigsalad is the online replacement for the booking agents of the past who only booked certain select people and you had to know somebody. Gigsalad has something for everybody and tries to meet you where your needs are. The only reason we don't shout out more praises is we kind of want to keep them to ourselves!
I've been using GigSalad since 2016 to book gigs for my acoustic duet (weddings, private parties, corporate events, etc.) I renew every year because it's soooo worth the cost ($300 cost vs about $5000/year in bookings)
While I don't book solely through GigSalad, they have become our best performing leads and bookings platform in terms of volume of gigs and in return on investment (ROI)
Furthermore, I have made contacts through GigSalad that have resulted in thousands of dollars of bookings after the first gig.
Their customer service is excellent and their booking service beats every competitor in our market (Dallas-Fort Worth.)

In my experience to date, GigSalad does not reach any viable market for my band and the kind of music we offer.
We play original blues-rock, jazz, and Christian rock.
Not one of the inquiries I have received was looking for what we do.
They were always looking for something else, that we don't do.
At this point, the inquiries have become nothing but time-consuming background noise.
Apparently, GigSalad is not a good fit for GLEN FLOWERS and the STRANGERS.
GigSalad provides another website presence for artist & performers to be booked. I've been a client them since 2015. I don't have a paid subscription. GigSalad allows me to be booked directly with clients them handling the payments and contracts for a small serrvice fee. I don't rely on them for my full time bookings. I'm booked several nights a week in clubs directly with the venues. You have to pay for outside bookings and reviews to appear on their site. GigSalad is one of the many tools to receive bookings hassle free.
I've been using GigSalad for a couple of years now. I've gotten several gigs from it and am very pleased. Keep up the great work!

I have been a Gig salad member for a few years now. I did have one problem and the team handled it quickly and professionally.
I can't say enough about how great Gigsalad is. It's easy to use, they're always improving already great features, and their customer service is fast and extra courteous. Have gotten lots of work from there, which is the goal!
The platform of gigsalad is great, but most requests from potential clients don't want to pay what you quote them. They are mostly looking for 2 to 300 dollar bands and they're event could be 200 miles away.
Gigsalad collects most of the information and all you have to do is reach out to the client and close the deal.
I've been a vendor with GigSalad for the past 7 years and have had nothing but great success. The leads are frequent and adequately vetted and the payments are prompt and fair!

Easy to use and has generated a good amount of business for me. Before GS entertainers had to work with party planners who would give us 50% of the fee (when we were lucky!) they charged the client. GS fees are SO REASONABLE!

This was my first time using GigSalad and would definitely use again. It was easy to get a hold of entertainment in the area and receive a prompt quote. We used Sylvia the balloon lady and she was great at our company family bbq. She was on time; easy to work with; fastest balloon maker I've seen around, and has amazing balloon talent. Highly recommend her.

This is from a vendor's perspective. They have been great since we signed up in sending us several leads a day. (Compared to their biggest competitor who hardly sends us any)
We have received many real and confirmed bookings from them and it has been a real boost to our income. All is transparent & streamlined and fact you can add pictures to a quote is super!
