Super buggy - but love the concept

FINALLY! Someone created a camera that has some controls with software. Don't know why it took so long, but it is nice to finally have it. I can control the lighting since I have windows behind my head. I can control the zoom. This is exactly what I was trying to find.

BUT, every time I change the zoom, I can't change it back without rebooting my computer. I tried "rebooting the camera", but it never happens (just gets stuck in a loop). Also, once I change the exposure and/ or white balance, I can't change anything again without rebooting.

Also zoom is a little random. As we speak, the camera has zoomed in very tight around my face. I can't change it without rebooting.

Also, even though they promote "AI", those features have been turned off on this software. I look forward to seeing how that will work (and yes, I have updated to the latest versions).

In summary, I have given a generous 3 stars because I love the concept and it works beautifully after I reboot my laptop. It manages the backlight very well, the picture is nice and clear, and the idea of having adjustments is very cool. Very hard to use right now with the buggy software.

I have purchased two cameras so far and luckily I haven't experienced any of the issues as some of the reviewers on here or probably I am not a pro level user. My questions were also answered promptly by the customer service, both before and after the purchase. My rating is 5 stars!

This camera is getting better with software updates. Initially, I had some problems connecting this camera for whatever reason and customer service was very professional and got it resolved. I think Lumina is well worth the money.

Product specs and demos were available on the website and proved very helpful after I received the product. I've been using it since yesterday utilizing the basic video function and haven't got into more advanced features yet. I really like the concept of an AI backed 4k camera and that is the reason I am backing Lumina. Haven't received my camera yet but I am in touch with the customer support and I am really impressed with their promptness and customer friendly attitude. Looking forward to getting my camera soon.

This is the first time I've used a Lumina 4k camera. Setting up and optimization was too complicated for me given I am not a tech savvy person. Thanks to the customer support, they did it all for me and since then the camera is working perfectly.

Not ready for prime time
January 27, 2022

Product arrived a month late, did not work as advertised and was told future updates should correct the problems. Would not work with latest Mac update (Monterey). Was told I could return for refund. I returned. No refund. Now I have to fight with my credit card company to get my money back. NO customer service response on request for refund. Stay away from this product. I suspect the other five star reviews are fake.

Previously, I was using a 2k camera and was quite content with it. Then a friend told me about Lumina and I considered giving it a try. Spoke to their sales support and they were very knowledgeable and understood my requirements. I received my 4k camera yesterday and it is working perfectly. I've been using Lumina for quite a few weeks now. My experience with the product has been nothing short of good but not excellent so I'd be giving them 4 stars and not 5. Like every other product this camera has its pros and cons. Nice hardware and integration, reliable after sale support and an awesome promise are the aspects that make Lumina stand out in the competition. They have all it takes to get to the top spot and they only need a few right software updates. The sooner the better. Thanks.
